My car needed new bearings, control arms and CV axle (when it rains it pours I guess). I shopped around and Marin Auto Care was not only competitively priced but the owner is awesome. There are no frills/embellishments when discussing the car with him. He will take a look at the car when you bring it to him - for my car he just told me to wait 15 minutes and took a look and instantly knew the problem(s). I didn't get the issue resolved right away just because I was not ready to spend money on the car yet and he had no issues with that. He was patient and when I was ready he scheduled it pretty quickly and finished the work in half a day and returned the car well ahead of the agreed upon return time. Since I had such a pleasant experience here a couple of years ago, I decided to get my brakes done here along with an oil change. Again, the owner Kambiz offered excellent customer service besides a great job taking care of my car. I also appreciated that he asked me prior to coming if I had any COVID symptoms and followed masking and distance protocols (plexiglass shield in office when checking estimate and paying). AND he had my car washed since he noticed it was dirty while he was testing the brakes after replacement! I have found my regular mechanic from now on and heartily recommend him. Returning home to Watsonville from a long road trip, our '08 Subaru began missing badly on the 101 in San Rafael. We quickly pulled off and very luckily found Marin Auto Care next to the off-ramp. Kambiz learned of our predicament and immediately began working on diagnosing the problem. The car was WAY overdue for a tune-up.
