I had a very easy and pleasant experience getting my car smogged here. Everyone was very friendly and helpful, and I especially like that I could schedule an appointment online! read more

Been taking our cars here for about 20 years. Yann and his team are the best In the areao. Very honest group, fair prices and great work. Impossible to find trusted mechanics that will never oversell or steer you wrong. Can't say enough good things. read more

Very honest repair shop with excellent work! I am a senior and needed work on my car, fixed wonderfully well at reasonable cost.

Yann is honest, affordable and just a cool guy They're not looking to gouge at all I'm so happy I found them read more

Purchased a 2000 BMW 528i back in September 2019 and still runs like a champ. I thank the owner for this! Excellent shop!

We've had an excellent experience with this auto repair shop. They worked on both my car and my wife's car, and the service was outstanding each time. The staff was honest, knowledgeable, and took the time to explain what was needed without any pressure. Repairs were done efficiently, pricing was fair, and both cars now run perfectly. It's hard to find a shop you can truly trust, but this place has earned our confidence. Highly recommended for anyone looking for reliable, high-quality auto repair. read more

We've had multiple bad experiences with the Ford dealership; when we had a problem with our Ford Escape's heater, after another bad experience we decided to find someplace else. We found All Autos through Diamond Certified and we struck gold! Yann knew immediately just from the description what the problem probably was and fixed it in hours for a reasonable charge. In today's world, what a rarity!! Afterwards we found one of our neighbors has relied on them for over 20 years, and another friend has trusted them for over a decade. We should have asked them, but at least we found our new car-repair home! read more

Honest and efficient. I really appreciated their help in determining the safety of my son's vehicle.

these guys are awesome. Hands-down good old-fashioned honest mechanics with no runaround. Good turnaround time and good communication. Thanks guys. Can't say enough good things about this place read more

It's rare when a repair shop is so honest that it's shocking. Yann at All Auto let me know the same day that I needed to go to the Audi dealer and contest their previous charges. My experience at this shop was one of an island in a storm. No BS, no work done beyond what's necessary. read more

great service reasonable prices and really good people. help me keep my car in great shape

I left my first review in 2011 and still think these guys are fantastic! We recently moved and tried two places near our new home with terrible results. I've decided it's not worth it. We're just going to drive from Petaluma to All Autos and be done with it. Yann and company have always been straight with us and given us the cheap and quick option or the by the book option based on the maintenance schedule based on what we can afford at the time. We have four cars under their care. read more

No longer my auto repair shop! I have gone to this place for over 20 years but they are starting to get sloppy and don't have time to repair something they said was working fine after they did the work and tested it. I called them right away to say it wasn't working and they said they didn't think they did anything to it. On top of that, they are putting me off to another week to even look at it. I don't have time to try and make their schedule work when this is something they worked on and they said was working. Not very user- friendly if you ask me. Think twice about using this place. read more

If you are looking for an honest, professional, and highly skilled mechanic, look no further than this place. Anthony over at All Autos is a bad ass behind the wrench, who tells it like it is, and consistently does clean, professional, quality work. A rare breed these days! A year ago I blindly bought a classic Datsun, and was clueless on where to begin. A fellow Datsun enthusiast highly recommended me to give Anthony a call over at All Autos. Being the Datsun pro he is, he immediately took me under his wing and made sure my classic was running like new from day 1. He takes his time, explains everything clearly, and never leaves me feeling confused or unsure about what the plan of action is. Whether it's something simple or complex, Anthony has a way of making sure you as the customer are on the same page before taking your keys, and turning a wrench. Each and every time I leave the shop, I am consistently impressed with the attention to detail and cleanliness of each task addressed. Thanks to Anthony and All Autos, I plan on keeping my ol' Datsun for years to come. Cheers dude! Thanks for having me. DAT LIFE read more

Yann's a great guy and honest. Will NOT try to rip you off or up sell you. We've been going to him for 12+ years and I absolutely trust him! read more

Took my truck to get tires. Very happy to go to this professional establishment. Arnold help me and made me feel like I could understand what he was talking about. If you want to go somewhere that makes you feel like you're getting your moneys worth try these guys. You'll thank me later read more

What makes a good mechanic a GREAT mechanic? In my opinion 2 things.... 1. HONESTY - Often you don't know whether you really need to change or repair a part, you rely on your mechanic to be honest with you and only do what is needed not just pad their pockets! 2. CUSTOMER SERVICE - People expect good service but few are willing to give it. Customers do not expect a provider to be perfect, but they do expect things to be fixed if something goes wrong! I am so glad that I found All Autos! Yann D'Argnce runs the shop, and has been wonderful to me. As a woman, I always feel that I could be taken advantage of when I have my car serviced (and I have been before in major ways). But Yann is honest and he provides excellent customer service. He has told me that things do not need to be done, when I thought for sure they did. And the best story of all... I had my brakes done, but they had a major problem after only a few thousand miles. Yann fixed them again at NO CHARGE. He would not even let me pay for the labor. That is the definition of GREAT SERVICE. I won't take my car anywhere else!! read more

Yann & his crew are definitely a 5 star establishment. I have been bringing my 97 Acura to them for years of service. Being a student (aka broke) and female, I've had a number of bad run-ins with unscrupulous auto-repair places over the years who've cost me way more than I could afford. I was referred to All Autos Inc. by a mutual friend who raved about them and I couldn't agree more. These guys are top-notch! Trustworthy, friendly, and honest. They'll check out your car and give tiered recommendations for top-priority repairs and what might be coming up next. They'll work with you if you say you can't afford a particular part quote. They have a great network of other businesses to refer to (I had great experiences with muffler work and a new windshield when I needed them). Their customers are loyal and long-term for good reason. Sadly, I recently moved to LA and can't bring my car to them anymore : ( I just got off the phone with Yann who reviewed my car-repair history and gave me details on what recommendations I can make to my new auto-repair shop when I find one. Courteous, polite, and helpful as always. They will be a hard act to follow! read more

I can't say enough good things about Yann and his crew at All Autos. We've been taking a total of 7 cars over the years (15 or more) and have always gotten honest, top notch service. Once or twice we've had little things go wrong that they checked gratis- just to make sure everything was right. When things are going to be expensive, parts wise or obviously labor intensive, they let you know. My only complaint is that they are always busy, but that's a good thing, right? read more

In the city, I had a mechanic I loved and trusted. Since I moved to Marin, I've been searching and searching. I took my car to the dealer (begrudgingly) and always left with a bad feeling. I felt like they charged me just to walk in the door. Then, I found Yann at All Auto. He is the best! He does great work, in a timely manner, without overcharging. Several times I've gone in there with potentially expenses problems and each time, they were, luckily, small repairs. I never had to worry that he would overcharge me or recommend service that I didn't need. In fact, I recently purchased a new car and he had his staff look over it for me right on the spot without charging me a penny. I would recommend Yann and All Autos to anyone who asked without hesitation! PS I'm shocked by what Scott has to say. I'm the type to call around for prices and Yann's prices are always fair/low. Toscalito was one of the places I called to look at my Accord before finding All Autos and they wanted $120 just to do an estimate - which is outrageous!!! Yann charged nothing... read more

I am so lucky I found Yann and crew just in time. My cars are getting old and there always seem to be something going on from small issues (replacement bulbs, batteries) to big ones (fuel pump, etc.). No matter what the issue is, these guys can fix it. They don't go overboard but give you options, don't do work you don't need and always explain what's going on in detail. I really could not recommend them more. Their prices seem more than reasonable and fair, too, unlike a lot of places in Marin. Grateful for you guys!! And Camo ; ) read more

SOOOOO Happy again, with Yann and crew. Antony has helped me out many times! This is a business I trust and value. All Autos will care for you and your vehicle as though you are Family; fairly, effectively, and thoroughly, at a fair price. I HIGHLY recommend this Shop, and these People .GOOD people! Honest shop with good communication. I'm a first-time customer but will be taking my cars here from now on.

I can highly recommend this auto repair shop for every reason: Honesty, great work, timeliness and communication! We've had several cars there over the years, and are always very happy with every aspect of dealing with them and their work! read more

I've been going to all auto for decades and they are simply the best in the bay. Always able to accommodate last minute and I always get a fair trust worthy price. Highly recommend!! read more

Scam artists! Extremely dishonest and rude, presented inaccurate information, trying to overcharge. Afterwards ignoring the customer and pretending like nothing ever happened. Complete lack of integrity! read more

Yann was so helpful with repairs on both of my vehicles. He was able to schedule me on two separate occasions with quick service- one same day, the other was the same week. He was honest and quoted me a fair price. I'd definitely go back and refer a friend. read more

The first time I went there I ended up paying $1300 for a brake job. The second time I went there I took the time to review the $800 estimate to put a starter in an old Volvo and found out they wanted to charge me $550 for the starter that everyone else sells for $175. Third time they wanted $300 for a parking brake cable that I was able to find at Toscalito for $75. Watch out-these guts are a rip-off!!! read more

I've got a 2006 Toyota Sienna Minivan. The OEM GPS system started messing up, not being accurate, often showing my position in the middle of the bay or ocean. I use the system all the time and totally rely on it. I went to my mechanic in San Rafael, Easy Automotive. They said they can't work on it, I'd have to go to Toyota. I took it to Toyota. They told me it would be $130 to diagnose and I'd need to leave the car. It concerned me because it's such a proprietary system. If Toyota came back and said it will be $500 more to fix it, there is no one I can go to for a second opinion. Cain's Tires in San Rafael does my tires and brakes. They've been around forever and I have great trust in them. I didn't expect them to solve this, but thought they might be able to suggest someone who could help me. I stopped by and Barry referred me to Yans at All Autos. He told me if anyone could help me, Yans could. I stopped in and saw Yans. He took down my info and told me he'd make a few calls. He called me a couple of hours later and told me he'd learned that by simply buying the latest Toyota GPS DVD upgrade for $200 at Toyota, it would fix the problem. He said he learned that this problem was diagnosed soon after the 2006 model was released, and was included as a fix in all of their GPS DVD upgrades since then. I ordered the DVDs from Toyota and it fixed the problem. Yans didn't want any money for his trouble. He's won a fan and a new client. I told him that because of Cain's endorsement of him and because of his help with this situation, I'd be bringing my car to him from now on. read more

I am posting this for a friend who has been everywhere in Marin for repairs to an older chevy van. All Auto has saved the day for him many times. He is a 60 yr fairfax native and has little good to say about local shops...except this one! his vision is bad so thats why I am helping out here. I too will take my old jeep there for some repairs soon and will update this. read more

My initial experience was great but when I called them back twice to address and correct the problem that was never fixed, no one ever returned my call. Once ok but twice? I then realized I was overcharged for work they never did. Not happy with my experience and would not recommend. read more

Needed tires. Got the tires. Staff was competent. Nothing exceptional. Nothing offensive. Totally pleasant. I'd say go for it.

If you like cheap or used parts with astronomical markups and if you like to take your car in to get the same stuff repaired over and over then this is your place. They LOVE repeat business! I am glad i didn't go for the $2500 head gasket replacement approx 2 years ago. Car is still running like a champ. Five years of getting ripped off was enough for me. I didn't know this until I started pricing jobs at other shops... I was under the impression I was being taken care of by my mechanic. Wrong. I offered Yann a chance to replace the last radiator at cost but he told me to basically pound sand. There are too many other good, reliable and honest mechanics around. I have many other stories about this place. Don't waste your time and money here. AVOID!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Yann is full of crap. I stand by my statement. AVOID. I should document this with the BBB!!! read more

Yann and his crew are great. I have trusted them with the maintenance of and diagnostic work on two vehicles (an old Ranger and a 97 Civic). Every time, they have provided fast and reliable service without charging me an arm and a leg. I feel lucky to be so close to them. read more

Honest, friendly wonderful work! They stand by it too. I've been going here since 2000.

I went to all autos on the advice of my father-in-law and Cains Tires for what seemed to be a belt causing a squealing noise. It turned out my pathfinder (131,000 miles) required major timing belt, alternator, and brake work, with a few other little jobs. Yann kept me up to date throughout the process, explaining what was wrong and when I asked, what needed to be repaired now and what could wait. I decided to fix everything, and was so impressed with the knowledge and integrity of Yann and Antony. My car was done two days later and runs great! I feel safe and secure that they looked over everything before letting me get in the car again. Highly recommended! read more

I live 50 miles away but I make a special trip just to have my classic car smogged by Yann and his team. I have used other smog shops and they are clueless when it comes to the details of servicing an older vehicle for smog. Yann will kindly explain in simple terms what service was performed and what corrections (if any) are needed. I trust him and his shop so much it's worth the 1 hour trip just for the excellent service I receive. read more
