If you're looking for a good Italian food, then look no further. This place has never let me down. Portion sizes are large. The staff is great. Grabbed a seat at the bar since they had a lot of reservations scheduled. The ambiance was quiet enough to hear conversation with person next to you. Do you have a couple TVs in the bar area that had some sports on. Will definitely come back as long as I have time before they close.

Tiny Italian restaurant with yummy homemade bread, pasta, soup & salads. We loved the manicotti and veal lasagne. Chicken parm is good too.

Tiny Italian restaurant with great homemade bread, pasta, soups, and salads. We loved the manicotti and veal lasagne. Chicken Parm was good too. Servings are large enough to box up & have lunch the next day!

This was my first time at Moretti's b/c why bother going out for Italian food? Well, this is why. Service was friendly and efficient and the food was delicious. All orders come out with a nice-sized loaf of Italian bread and herbed butter. I ordered the Eggplant Lasagne which came with salad or soup. The salad was fresh and lovely and even the tomatoes were good. Also, the portion size was generous so I came home with half of my dinner.

    Veal Francaise

I followed the advice from a Facebook post about the best Italian restaurants in Columbus - of which there are several amazing choices. We were lucky to get a reservation at Morettis for Valentine's Day and it did not disappoint. Starting off with the complimentary homemade bread and herb butter. The bread was delicious but the butter was unlike anything I've ever had - and they sell it by the pint or quart. Yes, please! An $8 quart for the win! We also added in a couple drinks. My husband had the old fashioned which he thought was okay. I had the creamy limoncello martini which was tart and delicious. For dinner my husband had the chicken Parmesan and was really happy with his choice. Even though he went in with a big appetite, he ended up taking some home. The portions are really generous. I had the veal Francaise, a tender veal cutlet cooked in a lemony butter sauce with green beans and mushrooms and homemade spaghetti. It was incredible also. I ate about half and had a delicious lunch for the next day. The house salad that comes with every meal has a tasty homemade vinaigrette with pasta and crispy green beans. This was our first time at Morettis, but I would happily go back. Im so happy we listened to the Facebook recommendation!

Great food - but salad was drowning in dressing. Italian sausage is outstanding.

Can you get vegetables in place of the pasta?

    Yes!

Has anyone else had issues trying to call for a reservation? There's multiple numbers listed (yelp, google review, etc.) and no line is picked up. I've been calling non stop for the past 10 minutes with no luck.

Nope, have never had a problem getting a hold of someone. They don't open till closer to dinner time so it probably depends on what time you call. I use the number from their actual website.

So I'm going to Z Cucina on a Saturday evening, and finding out that my preconceived notions about this place were wrong was a very pleasant surprise. We were greeted warmly by I believe the owner who took us to a table chatting with us as we went our waitress, Emily was a delight throughout the whole evening. I was enjoying the experience so much. I forgot to take any pictures. I started with the scallop and apple special appetizer and it was so delicious. I never would've thought of pairing scallops with apples and arugula, but it really worked. It usually comes with prosciutto, but I did not get that. We were also brought bread and some gluten-free crackers with a really delicious red dipping sauce. I was torn between a few different options for my main course, but Emily told me that her favorite dish was the goat cheese ravioli. I was disappointed that I couldn't try that being gluten-free, but she told me that I could get it substituted with linguine and the kitchen stuff even topped the linguine with some of the goat cheese that they usually put in the ravioli. That Pomodoro sauce was so delicious. I will definitely be back for this meal. Everything from start to finish was delicious. Made even better with the great service. would definitely visit again.

The calamari is also a highlight, particularly the vegetable strips that are fried with it. The Dublin location doesn't have the charm of Grandview, but it's bigger and there's free parking, so there's the trade off.

The virtual kitchen is actually located in the Chili's kitchen on 161 near Sawmill Road in Dublin. You must order through DoorDash for delivery only. Maggiano's and Chili's are Brinker International restaurants. The food was hot and fresh when it arrived via DoorDash. The order consisted of Spaghetti and Meatball with Meat Sauce, and Cheese Raviolis with Meat Sauce. I typically do not like meatballs, but Maggiano's/Maggiano's Italian Classics have the perfect extra large meatballs. I highly recommend ordering the meat sauce instead of classic marinara. The meat sauce is so much better in my opinion. The Cheese Ravioli with Meat Sauce was pretty good as well, but I personally prefer the Spaghetti. All pasta entrees come with one breadstick. The portions are generous, but not huge. I wish Central Ohio had a brick-and-mortar Maggiano's with a full menu and dine-in option. Maggiano's Italian Classics will satisfy cravings for their chef creations, but special requests and modifications cannot be accommodated.

Maggiano's had a reputation for excellent food however something appears to have changed! I ordered carryout lasagna that was runny and not firm. It had more sauce and cheese spread out to give the appearance of an adequate serving size. The pasta was limp and the ingredients had a grainy texture. The item that disappointed the most was zucchini fritters. They were limp and had no distinct taste. To my surprise, later that evening I noticed there were little to no zucchini inside... only thin almost invisible slivers! I ordered a Caesar salad that consisted mostly of large stalks of romaine lettuce throughout the salad! Maybe, there was less than a teaspoon of Parmesan cheese sprinkled on top. Needless to say, I was disappointed that I had spent $60 for a double portion of Lasagna, a small salad and fritters and was left feeling unsatisfied! I am shocked that Maggiano's standards have been lowered! It was my go-to restaurant for many years!
