Three employees were sitting down chatting away while I waited for my appt. I went because i wanted to cut my hair into a long bob but my consultation specialist looked at my hair and said my hair was fried. There was nothing he could do, I was so confused. I said, I'm not here to dye my hair. I'm here for a haircut. He said, I know. You need keratin and once your hair gets healthy I could try. Out of curiosity I asked, if I get my hair back to "healthy " again. I asked who he would recommend and he said nobody here. I was shocked and to be honest, I was so over the consultation that I awkwardly laughed and promised him I'd be back. He could honestly care less. I wasn't too irritated because it smelled like hard boiled eggs or broccoli in there. Not to mention, The older woman at the front desk was hella grumpy as well. Update: I was initially put off by them not having a way to reach anyone in the salon and the concierge number was no help. HOWEVER, when I emailed about my concerns I received a quick reply. I have a weird "shelf" thing that my hair does and Amanda let me come back to get it "fixed". She genuinely wanted me to love my hair and after the fix I absolutely do! I went in and she fixed it to a beautiful brunette with blonde highlights. Every touch-up was better than the last. This last appointment, Tracy was booked but I saw Samie and, once again, I couldn't be happier!! I especially love how the highlights were done this time to be different depending on where/how I part my hair. It even has a different appearance if I pull my hair back. I have curlier hair and it's been a struggle over the years, to the point I started trimming it on my own. At this point, I just wanted a pick-me-up from a professional. She did just that, and more.
