I found this place based on a Google Gemini recommendation because my neck was still hurting badly after a chiropractor visit. I was looking for deep, targeted work and managed to find a slot with Emily in less than 24 hours. I booked online where there were lots of slots, but they require approval on their end. When that confirmation email came through, it honestly felt like winning the lottery because I was in so much pain. Emily is incredible. She hit the perfect depth immediately; I never once had to ask her to go lighter. She worked my calves so much I swear the muscle changed shape! She is also lovely to chat with during the session. What really blew me away was the care afterward. She actually called the next day to check on me and emailed me helpful stretches to keep the mobility going. Emily is a unique massage therapist. Her techniques have been pretty effective for my lower back herniated disc issues. She's able to identify muscles that need some work and she mobilizes them and gets them to work by employing them into stretches and strengthening exercises, and I can see a difference in their abilities after that. Most recently, I could walk about 1 mile before getting into pain, but after her session, I walked 2 miles! It is a comfortable massage studio with great emphasis on cleanliness. Emily is also pretty knowledgeable and speaking with her through the sessions (especially the intense ones) can be distracting in a good way! I would totally recommend Emily for muscle related issues. The sessions are a bit expensive in my view and there isn't a way to combine sessions to get a discount or anything, but she does accept HSA cards. read more

My comments are long overdue as my husband has been seeing Emily for ~12+ years so that says alot how satisfied we are w/Emily's services. My husband is a stroke survivor and his PT recommended Emily early on during his immediate recovery (one never totally recovers from a moderate+ stroke). Emily has been providing massage stimulation to his weak side and also guides him through various balance and stretch routines. I also provide routines from my husband's periodic PT visits and Emily tries to integrate them into her 2x wkly sessions. In addition, Emily also sends a note describing what routines she went through for each session...EACH session twice a week for umpteen years! We hired Emily to go geriatric massage/ mobility therapy for my father who suffers from strokes and has dementia. Emily has been seeing my dad biweekly for three years at his assisted living facility where she brought her massage table to him. I can't speak highly enough of Emily and how she improved my father's overall well-being while improving his mobility and decreasing his fall risk. Despite having severe weakness on one side of his body, my father never had a serious fall. I attribute the decrease of this serious risk to her work with him. Emily brings creativity to her massage and body work. She has my dad doing basic dance exercises, stretches, and strength building exercises. She communicates very efficiently with our family members and helps us to assess his condition. We always appreciated her concern for his health and her advice on how to best care for him. Most remarkably is how Emily has become like a family member for my dad over the years. She has been one of the most consistent people in his life. Especially for geriatric patients suffering from dementia who become isolated and lack the touch they once had in their life, we found this to be particularly important for my dad. I most highly recommend Emily for treatment for anyone with complex medical care, strokes, and dementia. Emily is friendly and professional. She's great at assessing her patient's needs and addressing them. She has a wonderful understanding of which muscles need to be dug into a bit more and which require a more gentle touch. I've had other massage therapists dig in so hard I wanted to punch them in the face because my body didn't want that at the moment. There is no face punching urge with Emily! I have been getting massages from Emily for the better part of the last decade. I can't believe it's taken me this long to let everyone else know why I've been going to her for so long. For me it starts with a massage therapist's ability to instinctively know where you are sore before you even do. There are times I come in for my back (a chronic problem from my years of high intensity workouts, and genetics), and Emily then finds other areas that are in desperate need of a massage without me having to tell her. Better yet, before I even know they are sore. The results speak for themselves as I always recover faster from my workouts and am refreshed and ready to take on my next great workout after my sessions, which is how it should be. Something else that shouldn't be overlooked is Emily's sincerity, calm demeanor and genuine interest in your well-being. Emily is awesome - I hired her for my mom who was in the hospital for a few weeks and her rates are very reasonable considering she drives over to the hospital and only charges a small travel fee. It is nice that she also wears gloves right before so her hands are warm. She also can do 30 minute massages which is great because most places won't do that if they come to you. read more

I had a muscle pain in my buttocks area for almost 2 months. I could not maintain a standing position for more than 10 min, because it gets too uncomfortable. Through a friend referral I recently visited More Mobility Massage to get treatment on sore back from sitting too long at a baseball game. I had never had a massage before and Emily made me feel comfortable the whole time getting my muscles relaxed.
