This place is awesome and Emily is an amazing massage therapist. I was in a lot of pain and Emily does a great job finding the right pressure points and helping me to increase my mobility. I highly recommend anyone who is in need of pain relief and increasing mobility use Emily! Thank you so much! read more

I found this place based on a Google Gemini recommendation because my neck was still hurting badly after a chiropractor visit. I was looking for deep, targeted work and managed to find a slot with Emily in less than 24 hours. I booked online where there were lots of slots, but they require approval on their end. When that confirmation email came through, it honestly felt like winning the lottery because I was in so much pain. Emily is incredible. She hit the perfect depth immediately; I never once had to ask her to go lighter. She worked my calves so much I swear the muscle changed shape! She is also lovely to chat with during the session. What really blew me away was the care afterward. She actually called the next day to check on me and emailed me helpful stretches to keep the mobility going. I've spent the holidays telling my family they need to go see her. If you want to support a business that truly cares, go see Emily. read more

Dear Yelp Journal, I had such a great experience and can't recommend Emily enough. She is incredibly kind, generous, and truly takes the time to understand your needs during the consultation. What stood out most to me is how she customizes each session--she doesn't take a one-size-fits-all approach, but instead really listens and tailors her work to what your body needs. She is thorough not only in addressing immediate concerns but also in helping with preventative care, which I really appreciate. I always feel comfortable with her level of professionalism, and her detailed assessments show how knowledgeable and attentive she is. I'm already looking forward to my next session to continue working on my tight muscles! Sincerely, Relaxed and Rejuvenated read more

This is a great massage to help with mobility and movement. Emily is very efficient, helpful and knowledgeable.

Emily is simply amazing! I was recommended by my chiropractor. She really gets in there and addresses all my numerous issues. We always chat before hand about what is going on with my body and she is great at explaining what she is going to do. I always say I have muscles like cement and she really helps them relax. Also, she always sends emails after to see how I am doing and with reminders on what we did and any stretches she recommends. I can not give her enough stars! read more

Emily has an incredible amount of knowledge about the body and gives a very unique type of massage. She works all the right spots! I always feel better the following day. read more

Emily is a unique massage therapist. Her techniques have been pretty effective for my lower back herniated disc issues. She's able to identify muscles that need some work and she mobilizes them and gets them to work by employing them into stretches and strengthening exercises, and I can see a difference in their abilities after that. Most recently, I could walk about 1 mile before getting into pain, but after her session, I walked 2 miles! It is a comfortable massage studio with great emphasis on cleanliness. Emily is also pretty knowledgeable and speaking with her through the sessions (especially the intense ones) can be distracting in a good way! I would totally recommend Emily for muscle related issues. The sessions are a bit expensive in my view and there isn't a way to combine sessions to get a discount or anything, but she does accept HSA cards. read more

Very different kind of massage but really helpful! Will definitely go back when I'm in the area

Emily is amazing. She is such a good massues. She helped me stretch and get in better shape. I always feel better after seeing her.

My comments are long overdue as my husband has been seeing Emily for ~12+ years so that says alot how satisfied we are w/Emily's services. My husband is a stroke survivor and his PT recommended Emily early on during his immediate recovery (one never totally recovers from a moderate+ stroke). Emily has been providing massage stimulation to his weak side and also guides him through various balance and stretch routines. I also provide routines from my husband's periodic PT visits and Emily tries to integrate them into her 2x wkly sessions. In addition, Emily also sends a note describing what routines she went through for each session...EACH session twice a week for umpteen years! There is not much more to say if it's not pretty obvious how happy we are and with her professionalism and expertise in her work. read more

We hired Emily to go geriatric massage/ mobility therapy for my father who suffers from strokes and has dementia. Emily has been seeing my dad biweekly for three years at his assisted living facility where she brought her massage table to him. I can't speak highly enough of Emily and how she improved my father's overall well-being while improving his mobility and decreasing his fall risk. Despite having severe weakness on one side of his body, my father never had a serious fall. I attribute the decrease of this serious risk to her work with him. Emily brings creativity to her massage and body work. She has my dad doing basic dance exercises, stretches, and strength building exercises. She communicates very efficiently with our family members and helps us to assess his condition. We always appreciated her concern for his health and her advice on how to best care for him. Most remarkably is how Emily has become like a family member for my dad over the years. She has been one of the most consistent people in his life. Especially for geriatric patients suffering from dementia who become isolated and lack the touch they once had in their life, we found this to be particularly important for my dad. I most highly recommend Emily for treatment for anyone with complex medical care, strokes, and dementia. These are often the most needing individuals who can benefit from massage who often get overlooked and need a specialist like Emily. Our family is so grateful to have found her! read more

Emily is friendly and professional. She's great at assessing her patient's needs and addressing them. She has a wonderful understanding of which muscles need to be dug into a bit more and which require a more gentle touch. I've had other massage therapists dig in so hard I wanted to punch them in the face because my body didn't want that at the moment. There is no face punching urge with Emily! Her studio is clean and tidy. It was a comfortable environment and I was able to get nice and relaxed. 10/10 would go again! read more

I have been getting massages from Emily for the better part of the last decade. I can't believe it's taken me this long to let everyone else know why I've been going to her for so long. For me it starts with a massage therapist's ability to instinctively know where you are sore before you even do. There are times I come in for my back (a chronic problem from my years of high intensity workouts, and genetics), and Emily then finds other areas that are in desperate need of a massage without me having to tell her. Better yet, before I even know they are sore. The results speak for themselves as I always recover faster from my workouts and am refreshed and ready to take on my next great workout after my sessions, which is how it should be. Something else that shouldn't be overlooked is Emily's sincerity, calm demeanor and genuine interest in your well-being. She cares about her clients, and I never felt like I was there only for our allotted time as you often do with other studios and therapists as they watch the clock -- especially ones that work for chains, gyms or clubs. The bottom line: Emily's massages have helped me through some of the ups and downs of my intense workouts, injuries and regular upkeep -- always helping me recover faster -- and delivers that service while also being professional, kind and instinctive. read more

Emily is awesome - I hired her for my mom who was in the hospital for a few weeks and her rates are very reasonable considering she drives over to the hospital and only charges a small travel fee. It is nice that she also wears gloves right before so her hands are warm. She also can do 30 minute massages which is great because most places won't do that if they come to you. read more

I went in last weekend for my first massage with Emily and I was so impressed by her knowledge and experience. I've been getting massages for years from very reputable massage therapists, but Emily knew what to look for and what to focus on, beyond what I thought was the problem. And she's just a wonderful human. I can't wait for my next session with her. read more

Emily is among the best I have visited. To qualify that, I have a very lengthy history of cervical problems, treatment for which has included numerous methods for many years. When it comes to massage, Not only does Emily's extensive background in the martial arts provide her with excellent strength which allows her to apply appropriate pressure when needed, but it has given her a great understanding of energy movement that enhances her expertise in massage therapy. I am also impressed with her absolute professionalism in her interactions with her clients. I would recommend Emily to anybody looking for a massage as well as anybody wanting to explore "alternatives" !!! read more

Emily is professional in her knowledge and skills about her clients' body needs and how to address them with her gentle yet powerful touches. She is also friendly and kind just like a long known friend so I feel relaxed and calm while she works through my sore shoulder and neck due to long hours of computer work and other muscle sore from dancing. She is thorough and very considerate. I remember there was one session around the holiday time, she even prepared a little pastry item for me to take away at the end of the session. She not only soothed my body but also helped me feel refreshed every single time. I would definitely love to come back again. read more

Emily gives a great therapeutic massage. My sore and strained muscles were put to great relief and she was very careful around particular injuries that I had to knee and foot. Looking forward to my next visit! read more

My one and only recommendation for a massage in the Bay Area. Emily is skilled with athletes, the elderly, and anywhere in between. And her prices are extremely reasonable for the level of service that she provides. read more

Emily is the only massage therapist I trust to help my body recover from the stresses of working out and life! I've been going to her since 2012 and recommend her to my wife and all my clients. We always 'touch base" with my trouble areas and she intuitively provides the perfect balance of pressure to take away my muscle tension. I can literally see my muscles recover every week I see her from my workouts and I partially attribute my competition success to her working on my body's recovery process. Thanks for all the help Emily! read more

Through a friend referral I recently visited More Mobility Massage to get treatment on sore back from sitting too long at a baseball game. I had never had a massage before and Emily made me feel comfortable the whole time getting my muscles relaxed. Her hands are strong and she has a pleasant personality that made my visit very enjoyable. She is very professional as her goal to to help her clients get back to 100% and not milk clients more multiple visits when it is not necessary. I have only been the one time but if necessary I will be back. read more

I had a muscle pain in my buttocks area for almost 2 months. I could not maintain a standing position for more than 10 min, because it gets too uncomfortable. Emily asked me to push my leg in this direction and that direction while she kept applying pressure to the affected area. Then, it was like a magic, the pain that plagued me day and night was gone, just like that. Emily knows what she is doing, very effective, not to mention her friendly personality, I highly recommend her for your problems. Thank you Emily! read more

Emily is an amazing masseuse, strong communicator, knowledgeable, and knows what shes doing. She's one of few massage therapists that I've met who always has a willingness to learn knew things in her profession. Always attending seminars, applying her experience to her clients, and feeling amazing after your session is complete. Highly recommend More Mobility. read more
