Never hit a problem until today. The old oil filet was so stuck on the engine that the tools I had on hand warped the filter canister, and I couldn't get it out! Panicked, I called around auto shops my home, and Mateen gave me the confidence he can resolve the issue after he listened to my explanation. He's available right away. After filling up my engine with fresh oil, drove down to Moraga Auto Care Solution, Mateen got my stuck filter canister out in 5 min. He quickly put on my new filter and made sure all engine oil was cleaned up under my car! Price he asked for this emergency was also very reasonable and fair! I always find it odd when a place has only 1 or 5 star reviews but ultimately I agree that overall…read morethis location deserves its one star rating. It's just off 24 so the location is convenient, but the prices do seem higher than other places in the area. It's just your standard gas station. I went inside to grab a few drinks while my son pumped his gas and it is small inside. There are signs advising that the restrooms are for customers only and they are serious about it. A young man was buying a soda so he could use the facilities, so I waited until my son came inside and let him grab a drink as well because I knew he needed to go. I really hate that. Like, just because we bought $50 in gas and another $20 in drinks and snacks that makes us worthy of the bathroom? Let people go to the bathroom! I understand that businesses are allowed their policies, I just find it plutocratic, exploitative and demeaning. That being said, the clerk was friendly and my son said the bathroom was clean, so 3 stars it is!

My brother referred me to Nick, and after my experience today, I completely understand why…read more I brought in my 2007 Lexus GS350 after dealing with multiple engine codes and performance issues. At one point, I was genuinely concerned that I might be facing a much larger and far more expensive repair. After taking the time to properly diagnose the problem, Nick determined that the issue was much simpler than I had feared and narrowed it down to a faulty solenoid and another valve-related component. To make matters more complicated, I had accidentally ordered the wrong part after relying on information from AI. Instead of sending me on my way or making me wait days for another appointment, Nick went above and beyond. He tracked down the correct part and got it the very same day. That's the kind of service that is becoming harder and harder to find. Not only did he install the part correctly, but he also took the extra time to clean the screen and make sure everything was done properly rather than rushing through the job. The difference was immediate. The check engine light is gone, the codes are cleared, and my Lexus is running like a million bucks again. What impressed me most was his honesty, efficiency, and willingness to help solve the problem instead of simply replacing parts. He saved me time, stress, and potentially a lot of money. It's rare to find a mechanic who combines technical knowledge, integrity, fair pricing, and excellent customer service, but Nick absolutely does. Based on this experience, he has earned a permanent spot on my list of trusted mechanics, and I'll definitely be bringing my vehicles back to him in the future. If you're looking for an honest mechanic in the Moraga area who genuinely cares about getting the job done right, I highly recommend Nick's Auto Service. Thank you again, Nick.
