The person who answered the phone told me I would need to complete additional paperwork because I supposedly had not been to The Joint in over a year. Despite that, she still insisted on the additional requirement and ultimately told me I would need to come back another day. I could have filled out the paperwork in a few minutes, and although the office was closing in 75 minutes, I was turned down. I wasn't asking for special treatment. I was simply asking to be seen based on the correct information in my account, particularly when I was already in significant pain. I felt like the representative was more concerned about her not being able to process my paperwork than my pain level. I feel that this treatment was unfair and unprofessional.
