I've owned horses and have ridden extensively, so we came with experience and simply wanted to enjoy a beautiful morning ride together. Our guide, Will, was outstanding. He was knowledgeable, personable, safety-conscious, and made the entire experience relaxing and enjoyable. You could tell he genuinely loves what he does and cares about both the horses and his guests. The horses were well-mannered, the scenery around Folsom Lake was breathtaking, and the pace was perfect for taking it all in. The best part? The smile never left my granddaughter's face all day. When we first got on the horse the instructor was already screaming and staring at the kids with such a rude attitude.We started the trail and she was not patient with us at all, with even more screaming and made our experience so stressful.One of the kids was having a hard time and started to cry and instead of helping she kept screaming and telling him to go. There was also another person with us on the trail and I heard the instructor make comments! This was not a good experience and especially for the kids that were so excited. They are not patient at all and really need to work on their attitude and way of speaking to kids! Thank you for responding, I already knew this was a trail ride and the kids had more than 5 rides already.There is still no need to be shouting and being extra mean since the beginning even before the ride, it does not make it enjoyable and It does not qualify someone for this job. I was so confused by this store's low Yelp rating that I had to go and read all the one star reviews, and I have to say, they're honestly all petty. One of them actually shows a picture of a perfectly okay apple with the caption "rotten apple." While it is a bit on the small side for a "supermarket," they seem to have all the normal staple items. Since my last review, they've started carrying kaffir lime leaves, and have added pre-packaged meals to their hot dim sum line. As of my last visit (April 2026), it was $14.99 for a self serve 2 item lunch combo with rice and/or chow mein.
