Alpacas enjoying treats
Twilite S.

This review is past due.... Went there last year and it was a great experience. Beckie shared a lot about her alpacas and the rooster who had an amazing personality. The alpacas love the treats, some are shy and others give kisses. Will definitely recommend stopping by if in the area.

What an incredible day and experience what a wonderful family! I already knew we were going to enjoy the morning but not as much as we did! The alpacas were so adorable and soft and feeding them was such fun and then learning even more about their fiber and the handmade products. Time flew! All in all a memorable visit I highly recommend

I came here with my dad and my sister, I am obsessed with alpaca farms and I am so glad we found Loomis Alpacas. Beckie was super sweet and teaching us a bunch of new things about alpacas. You can tell she takes pride in her farm and raises her alpacas with love. We were able to feed them and interact with them. My sister even bought some alpaca yarn while we were here and I cannot wait to see what she knits with it. I definitely recommend this place and I will definitely be visiting again when I'm in the area.

The owner has to be one of the nicest people ever met. From the moment you show up to when leave she directs you along the way to what alpaca is the friendliest (they all are friendly) and tells you about them, her story, and random facts that I would never even guess at to be true- but they are! You can also buy yarn spin from alpaca wool? Is it wool or fur? You can buy yarn... They're spun from the alpacas there. You can also get local eggs from her hens, and they're delicious! We will be back again next year, thank you!!!

Very beautiful experience! The farm was quite and friendly family who introduced us to the farm and had tour around. My children feed the pets and had so much fun.

What a cool place to visit on a beautiful October day! The property is gorgeous, the animals are happy and Becky was friendly and full of information. We spent about and hour in Beckys backyard feeding the adorable alpacas and seeing the chickens. This was a perfect activity for our 22 month old he loved seeing the animals.

Went to LOOMIS Alpacas for my 21st birthday and all I can say is wow! Everything about it was amazing! The alpacas were so nice and so cute, The owner was even more nice and taught us so much about alpacas, and the overall atmosphere of the location was so calming. I went just yesterday and I already want to go back. She also has alpaca yarn for sale that was so soft and pretty I had to buy 2 of them! Most importantly you can just tell that they treat their animals like their children. They are so well taken care of and you can tell just how happy they are to be there.

Wonderful evening family outing. Beckie was so easy-going and accommodating with our group of 11. The experience was relaxing and fun for all ages. We had children and teens with us. We learned so much about alpacas, enjoyed feeding them, and learned about their different personalities. All the alpacas apparently poop in one big pile, so 1) you're not stepping all over it and 2) it wasn't smelly. These are some of the sweetest, most gentle animals on the planet! I've looked at other places that do alpaca experiences, and they want to charge you an arm and a leg. Thank you for making the experience possible and affordable!

My daughter and I had an amazing visit with the owner who personally introduced us to the Alpacas. We learned a lot about them and was able to feed them as well.

Such an amazing place to visit! The owner, Beckie, was so nice, and very informative. Her friend, Francois, was also at the farm and spoke to us a majority of the time. He was also super friendly and had tons of information to share! All the alpacas were adorable and so sweet. They all had their individual personalities, and it was so lovely to just watch them. Would absolutely recommend for families too!

Ask the Community - Loomis Alpacas

How long is the experience. Say for a family of 5, how long do families stay?

Between 45-60 minutes to hang out with the herd, feeding, taking pictures and visiting the gift shop where I demonstrate spinning their fiber into yarn.

Hello, are you open year round?

Yes, by appointment only as this is our home.

Can you accommodate volunteers to come help on your farm?

I have had volunteers on the farm.

Is this place still open?

Yes! Weekends only by appointment. Contact Beckie by phone or text is best :)

How much is admission?

I appreciate donations rather than charge a fee. If anyone wants to visit I don’t want there to be a financial barrier.

As a cherry on top to this fabulous experience, my toddlers got to pick a delicious Fuji apple from Beckie's farm.

My first experience visiting Fog Willow Farm was as a parent chaperone during my son's kindergarten…read morefield trip, and it was such a wonderful day. We rode the bus from the school and checked in at the designated field trip area when we arrived. Since there were four classes, they split us into groups, which made everything feel organized and smooth. The kids absolutely loved the hay ride and getting a tour of the farm to see the layout. One child was so excited she almost fell over. Her water bottle fell but she was safe. We then visited the animals and learned about all the amazing things the farm does, which was both fun and educational. After the tour, the kids enjoyed time on the playground and had snacks. There were also shops and places to eat, which was great for families and chaperones. The bathrooms are port-a-potties. They do have hand washing stations. I had never heard of this farm before, but it truly exceeded my expectations. We will definitely be back next year! It was only $5 per child and $15 for parents which wasn't bad.

The boys had so much fun running around and looking at the animals. Riding the train was fun and so was picking out pumpkins. I can't wait to go back next year and make this an annual trek out the farm!
