Well, their umbrellas were NOT secured, there was a strong gust of wind that lifted the heavy umbrella out from the table, knocked-over drinks, spilled drinks on my girlfriend and our food, the umbrella could have hit and injured her and their response was just "Are you okay?" AFTER I asked my girlfriend if she was alright. No "was anything damaged?" or "Can I get you a towell, or at least replace your drinks?" No, they just took the umbrellas away in a golf cart. Thanks for the mess, the ruined food, spilled drinks from your unsecured umbrellas, and not offering to compensate us at all.

Tickets for the lavender bloom are seasonal and opening dates can vary based on the timing of the bloom each year. They do a great job of posting their bloom updates and open hours. Buy entry tickets in advance and be ready to show them on your phone. On the day I visited, they had a local coffee vendor who was serving lavender infused products and some local makers on site. The farm is not far from the Sacramento and Folsom areas and you can spend the day visiting other local growers or businesses not too far away. What I really enjoyed about the farm were their strategically placed benches and lawns. You can sit in the shade and enjoy the fields from afar after taking time to walk directly through them. Photo ops abound! There's also a farm barn with their wonderful products such as lotions, soaps and culinary items made from their own lavender. If you missed their opening in 2024, be sure to check them out in next year's bloom. Such a pretty and peaceful place!

The party was such a great idea. Something different. And it was a beautiful day to be outdoors. We were able to look around different rooms filled with all different things from water animals, local animals, even dinosaurs!!!! Then we went on a nature walk with scavenger hunt. Everyone was engaged and having fun! Then the kids got to check out the pond....and catch tadpoles! So fun. My daughter had such a good time, she didn't want to leave.

This place is lovely…read more First of all, if you're planning to come here to pick blueberries, you should visit their Facebook page to find out when they will be open. They close on certain days when there are not enough blueberries that are ripe in order to give the unripe blueberries a chance to ripen. Once you arrive, follow the signs that lead you to the parking field. Park in the field, and then head to the areas that say welcome. They will let you use their buckets. It took me three hours to fill one bucket completely and a second bucket 2/3 of the way. They charge $20 a bucket so I paid $35 for mine (I think they round to the nearest quarter of a bucket. The family who owns this organic farm are so nice! They'll tell you all about blueberries (I learned that blueberry bushes can live for 60 years). There are 4 or 5 different varieties of blueberries but I ended up mixing them in my bucket so I have no idea which is which haha. This is a super fun activity to do with friends. Highly recommend.

I had never heard of this place…read morebefore but someone recommended I check out their "OPEN GARDEN" which is held once a month and open to the public. I showed up around 9:20am on a February Saturday and wasn't too sure what to expect. Got to check out a COMPOSTING CLASS that started at 10am that was very informative. Also got to check out their community garden and admire how nice the crops looked. But the best part was having all these master gardeners walking around and being able to ask them questions and pick their brains. I learned about cover crops, mulching and so much more while I was there. If you're interested in gardening, definitely check out this place. I believe parts of it are open to the public normally but during Open Garden days, the entire back part is open as well. It's a little hard to find but basically you have to drive into the parking lot of a park and head in the direction of the church next door. Then it will be on the right side of the church.

It was a great experience from all of the neat craft vendors, to the pick your own lavendar plants, and even observing a train pass by. I couldn't pass up the option of purchasing some Lavendar butter shortbread cookies yum! With the bushes, all supplies are available to grab, and bundles are priced at $5, $10 or $20. They even let my friend and I combine our bundles since we couldn't quite make the $5 one separately. It was a soothing activity and they package them up with different tissues and ties which was fun. Definitely would come back! The signage all around were really fun to read to
