We LOVE Rickey Ranch! We've been going for the last 4-5 years. Some years we go multiple times! Everyone is always super nice and helpful. They have several different style pumpkins and lots of sizes to choose from. They have tons of photo ops around the patch from pyramid hay stack, old trucks, tractor, photo cut outs and more. My little LOVES riding the ponies every year! It's her favorite thing there! Pony rides are $13. And sooooo fun! They also have farm animals, truck ride you can go on and blow up play area for kids. I spent the day in Roseville and ventured over to Rickey Ranch while in the area for some fall-inspired fun! It's located off of a two-lane road, and you can see the pumpkin patch as you're driving up. Parking is easy, and admission is free. I arrived on a Sunday afternoon, and there was some foot traffic but not crowded like a lot of the bigger pumpkin farms. I appreciated the smaller, family farm feel and I enjoyed picking out pumpkins, feeding the farm animals, and taking a hay bail ride! For the pumpkin patch, prices are determined by the circumference of your pumpkin. There was a fair amount to choose from, but not many stellar ones. My partner and I chose two pumpkins: one priced at $10 and the other priced at $6. We also picked up craving kits for $3 at the counter. Service at checkout was quick, and I'm glad that we're set for the season! read more

SOOOOOOOO MUCH POTENTIAL! Sooooooo much! And it's sad that it's wasted. It's very adorable. HOWEVER. They say corn maze and it's an OLD VERY OLD jumpy and then another OLD VERY OLD jumpy. It's 2025 jumpies are not very expensive to replace and update. There is suuuuuch room at this venue they could get five different jumpies of different sizes and let the kids go wild! They have so much space he should make a hey maze! Music would have been nice to have in the background. Food options and drinks. The people are so nice! And the prices are VERY good. Cute little pumpkin patch to stop and grab pumpkins! This spot would be great to take your young little's to! They are pretty small, but their staff is super sweet! They will inform you they have a small hay ride you can take that gives you a little agricultural background as it takes you around a few acres of their farm, as well as pumpkin slingshots, and a small pumpkin patch, as well as the oppurtunity to pick your pumpkin from their back patch! They also have a flower field! We went early, and went straight to the back pumpkins to look for our own, and they had a good little selection of pumpkins. They were all small to medium size, but a lot were smashed or had lots of bugs coming from them. We took home 5 average size pumpkins and paid about 60 dollars for them. Overall great experience for a smaller patch! This place is great for photo ops too if you're a little on the older side! read more

When you first walk in the property, you see a hand washing station, porta potty, mini haunted house, farm animals, blown up tunnel for toddlers, hay pyramid, pumpkin patch, hay ride, snack bar. The property was spacious but it seemed lacking in appeal, I didn't feel the Halloween spirit. The hay ride took us around the property which was bare, they put some skeletons on old tractors, train car, pirate ship. A boy in the ride summed it up nicely, "that's it for $4?" Cute place to take the kiddos as we didn't have time to venture to the big pumpkin patches. The haunted house was a joke about 15seconds to walk through. The spirit store is scarier lol. I love this place, local with great prices and lots of fun for the fam. We went this year and loved it!

Loved the small atmosphere. Great for a very active granddaughter and she loved all of it. The hayride was amazing.

We had a good time and my kids thought the blow up maze was really fun. My only complaint would be the prices; it was very expensive. The pumpkin prices are outrageous. We had a larger sized pumpkin and they wanted to charge us $26 for it! Obviously we put it back. I love supporting these smaller pumpkin farms, but I will never be able to justify paying $20+ for a pumpkin for each child when I can pay $5 at a grocery store. We will definitely return here in the future, but it will just be a place we stop in to run around for a bit and unfortunately, leave without pumpkins. read more

Love love love Rickey Ranch! They close at DUSK so it does vary. The ranch itself is hidden but you'll see the signs clearly when you approach the place. I'm guessing it's a family business because everyone was sweet. Came on a weekday and no one was there but it wasn't dusk so it was open!! The place is huge for a neighborhood pumpkin patch! They have LOVELY selections and everything is set up so nicely. The pricing of the pumpkins are also very fair and not a rip off as many of us would go to our convenience stores to buy pumpkins because it's cheaper. BUT ITS FAIR PRICED HERE!! They have goats, sheep, horse, and boars to look and feed as well. They also sell home honey at the stands! I highly recommend Rickey's ranch to anyone who lives in he area or traveling to a pumpkin patch. DOGS ARE ALLOWED as long as they aren't a bother to the animals and you clean after them. Oh I love finding something new!!!! This was my favorite find of the year. It's a family run business and everyone working there just wants to see this place keep open. Let me tell you, there's not enough pumpkin patches to go around. You either have to drive to somewhere like Bishop's Farm in Lincoln which is always crazy busy or straight up to Apple Hill. Apple Hill is gorgeous and worth the drive at least once. But after fighting traffic to and from there, it's nice to give it a break and go somewhere more chill. This cute little place has a hay pyramid, pumpkin patch, pony rides, tractor hay ride, and a haunted house. It might not be as commercially cool as Bastio Farms in Natomas, but if I'm on this side of town supporting local business that's what I'm all about. And if the kids are happy, then I'm happy too!!! Really good prices on everything, snacks and drinks available, less time to drive, easy parking, less crowds when I get there, and it's a super fun day with my child!?! Yes!!! It's a winner!!! It's a nice small pumpkin patch. You can feed goats for 25c when you enter, more goats in the back over the field. They have chickens, chicks, pigs, and a horse name Lady you can ride for $5 on the weekends. Hay ride is definitely a must with Halloween decorated tour in the back with skeletons on tractors, ship, and on the pond, $3 per person. They also have popcorn/snow cone/cotton candy/honey/pumpkins for sale and aren't badly priced. Haunted house is also $3 but with little ones we didn't participate. Nice photo ops on the field with tractors you can sit on, hay pyramid, various wooden paintings. It wasn't busy and nice to spend an afternoon just catching up with a friend while our girls played running around, playing with rocks and hay. We wanted to avoid spending a lot of money and dodge the crowd but still enjoy some pumpkin patch fun, and Rickey's was perfect for that. read more

It was fun and my two year old really liked it a lot. Lots of varieties of pumpkins, but really sad at opening on a Saturday -- it was slim pickings. In other words, not a lot of pumpkins. The hay bales were fun for the kids. We did the hay ride which was fun and had great décor (loved the skeletons driving the old farm equipment and the pirate ship). The food smelled good, but we didn't get a chance to try it. And my kiddo was too little for the haunted house, so we didn't try that. Cute little pumpkin patch but very small. Entertained my kids for only about half hour so not really worth the drive for us.

I didn't want to deal with the crowds at Bishop's, and wanted something a little more quaint and fun. Enter Rickey Ranch! It was perfect for our kids, 5 and 2, and our two family friends who joined us - big enough to run around, a huge haystack pyramid to climb on, and all the typical pumpkin patch "stuff" without the lines and chaos: Pony ride, hayride, goats to feed, chickens and bunnies, and even a pig named Michael Jackson who supposedly dances when you spray water on him (He was taking a siesta when we were there). Ha. It's family run, and "Grandma" is usually at the cash register. The pumpkins are about the same cost as most patches and there are a lot of cute places for pics, such as tractors, an old truck lined with pumpkins, and lots of wooden cut outs. I like supporting smaller family businesses and this is a good one! read more

We love this pumpkin patch! It's our 3rd year here. Everyone is really nice. There are pigs, goats, bunnies, chickens and a horse ride. They also have a hay ride and hay tower. Pumpkins are all really nice but I was disappointed this year that there weren't any unique ones. Last year they had some light orange ones that can only be described as pumpkin plops. They also offer a haunted house but my girls have never wanted to go in so I can't speak for that. All in all it is a nice and small pumpkin patch. Other large pumpkin patches are great but we don't care for the huge crowds. Lots of great picture opportunities with several cut outs and tractors. read more
