Small but free pumpkin patch. Pumpkins are priced like other pumpkin patches in the area. Staff is friendly great for smaller kids.

ANIMAL ABUSE!!! Animal control was called because a staff member spanked a pony. The pony was eating the bottom of a girl's dress, and the staff member hit the pony (forceful enough to hear the slap from multiple yards away), saying that the pony "knows better" and "needs to be taught a lesson." There were also numerous animals in very small enclosures - did not seem appropriate or humane. Please take your business to one of the many other patches in the area.

Awesome place staff is super friendly thank you to the wonderful woman that checked us out after we purchased our cute little Christmas tree

I'm not sure why we've never gone to Zittel Farms until this year! It's not that far from us and it is a hidden gem!!!! First off, there is tons of parking!!!! And it's free! They have everything we could ask for from pumpkins (a ton of different colors & sizes), a corn maze, piggies, baby chicks, a rocking horse corral, fresh kettle corn and more! Prices were decent. And everyone was super friendly and nice. We will definitely be back next year!!!

This was our first time here and it was so disappointing and disorganized. There was no sign stating where to pay for pony rides or the "hay" ride, the staff didn't even know what was going on. There was no line for any if the rodes so many were just standing around unsure if what to do. What broke my heart was seeing the cow and goats tied up to a fence and to props with no shade or water and with 2-3 feet worth of rope to move around with and the goats were still struggling. Do better!

Came to this pumpkin patch with my daughter and friends and it's the perfect size especially for young children! There were a variety of pumpkins to choose from, a little corn maze and a small animal petting area with goats, chickens, rabbits and ponies.

What a fun little place to take young kiddos. My in-laws took my son for his first pumpkin patch visit and said it was a great time. A little dusty and crowded, but that's to be expected on a farm, the weekend before Halloween. I think Zittel Farms is a great place to go for your littles first pumpkin patch experience, and we will definitely go back next year with our newest little to do it again.

We loved this farm. Its a nice local farm. Everything you would expect: corn maze(free), hayride ($1/person), great pumpkin selection, lots of cut out photo ops, goats, chicks, a cow, gift shop, kettle corn. We will definitely return.

It was our first Halloween with our daughter. They were very nice, the facilities were beautiful. Only thing missing was a petting zoo.

Now that my…read morethree youngest kids eat strawberries like they're candy and it was Mother's Day it seemed like the best time to go! Although, it was a bit of a drive for us coming from Sacramento/Elk Grove we were able to maximize our time there. The strawberry farm is family owned and located not too far from other businesses in the area if you wanted to find something to eat or find somewhere else to hang out afterwards. There was a food truck, Laopino, that had delicious lumpias, music, a bubble machine, plus a few games and activities to keep the little ones occupied, and shaded tables to enjoy your fresh harvests. :) Tickets are only available online. Weekend tickets are released on Thursdays at 7 pm. When choosing our date and time it shows we only had an hour to pick but really we got to take our time and enjoy our morning. I feel they show you have a one hour slot to help stagger guests in. I love how they had a little gift shop set up, another tent with fresh flowers, drinks, and beautiful cookies at the register to purchase. The strawberry fields had plenty to choose from. We saw lots of bright red ones varying from all sizes. The staff also informed us there were 6 types of strawberries being grown! My kids enjoyed only for a short while and mainly wanted to stay in the kid area. There are also plenty of photo ops on the farm too! We would absolutely return in the future. Highly recommend!

This was an amazing find and exactly what I was looking for! It was well kept, super cute with lots of photo ops, plenty to do without being overwhelming or too busy. They have a small corn maze (takes 10-15 minites), tractor ride, a full fledged pumpkin patch, large hale pyramid to climb, and pumpkin shooter. There's also a small flower patch. Prices were very reasonable for whatever items you want to do, especially considering no cost for parking or entrance. There was a good amount of shade on the property which is super nice. Only 1 porta potty which is a big con for me, but since it's not too far out of town not the end of the world. Parking lot is big enough for the size of the place, gravel. Everything was stroller friendly for our little one. The girls working were sweet and even willing to take some photos for us with the cute pumpkin arch. There was 1 food truck on site but limited options. Probably plan to eat before/after. Overall, definitely intend to come back next year and make this a fun tradition. It doesn't have the rides or slides or big entertainment that places like Bishops have, but its really cute and has plenty to do for a family that is wanting something smaller scale.

They were welcoming, patient, knowledgeable, and made every student feel included. Our students had an incredible opportunity to learn about ranch and farm life, tractors, horses, foals, farm animals, hay, and the daily responsibilities of caring for a ranch. The hands-on experiences were the highlight of the day. Students were able to groom horses, interact with animals, ask questions, and gain a real appreciation for agriculture and animal care. Terry and his team kept the students engaged from beginning to end. What made this experience even more special was Terry Howard's generosity. Shadow Glen donated approximately three hours of their time at no charge to educate three classes of Center Joint Unified School District students. That level of community support is truly appreciated. Our students are still talking about the trip, and the adults had just as much fun as the kids. It was an outstanding experience from start to finish.
