Let me start with this....I've had my real estate brokerage since 2008. I've recommend my vendors to my clients all the time. I'm that, "go to guy" if you ever need something. My clients are all aware of that and I'm glad they trust. A few years ago, I recommended Moonlight Electric Services to a long time friend. The feedback I got after the recommendation was OFF THE CHARTS. They couldn't thank me enough for the recommendation of Ziva and Sammy of Moonlight Electric Services. I was happy b/c my friend was over the moon (pun intended ;-) with the job they did.
Fast forward to my experience with Moonlight over the past couple of months. I called Ziva and asked her and Sammy to provide me a quote after I had received one from a "door knocker" selling solar with no up front cost and another person that was recommended by a friend of a friend.
As soon as Moonlight came over and did their evaluation, I instantly felt like an idiot for not calling them first. I would've saved myself a lot of time and aggravation. Ziva was so on top explaining the supremely complicated process from owning, to financing, to rebate to consumption vs. collection of energy to the ENTIRE process overall. We then received an estimate. It was clear, easy to read and based on my other two estimates, definitely the way to go. After her very detailed and accurate tutorial, we decided to go with them.
We had a couple of DWP related hiccups (Of course, it's DWP) that we had to field and that's when I got confirmation that I picked the absolute BEST company to do this job. We were told we had to get a pole closer to our house in order to complete the job as we constructed it. Sammy is so knowledgeable about the process that every step of the way, I knew they would dot every "i" and cross every "t" for me and THEY ABSOLUTELY DID. When I saw that the DWP said we needed to get another pole, I researched and saw that it could take up to 5-6 months for that process. HOWEVER, after several correspondences, we miraculously, had a pole installed in 3 weeks. Yes 3 WEEKS. Even the installers were shocked when I spoke to them about how rare it was to get a pole within 3 weeks of being notified. Once the pole was installed, the rest flowed as planned. The crew that installed, including Sammy, worked so hard and so fast.
I'm not sure which is better, the efficiency of my solar panels or Moonlight, lol!
Sammy and his crew were so organized, so clean after every day of work. They were such a absolute joy to work with. No messing around, no BS. No sales BS. They talked us out of a battery. They could've easily just said "sure, we'll do it" and make more money but, they were honest. Their attention to detail throughout this complicated journey is everything a first time person making a large investment like this needs.
Ziva and Sammy were always available to answer our questions regarding the financing, the permits and the timetable. What a team they are. When some people say you can't be a good person with values and be a successful entrepreneur at the same time, well, those people have never met and/or worked with Moonlight. So nice, so genuine and so honest.
We put up 52 Panels REC 420W panels. Our usage was super high per day. Just under 100 kwh per day. I was paying top tier pricing for too many years. Too much energy used at a premium price point. We now produce about 130 kwh. Which means I'm producing way more than I'm using which will end up giving me credits to my account. The work was so clean.
They are seriously one of the very best vendors I've ever had the pleasure to work with.
I give Moonlight Electric Service a 10 out of 5!!!!!!! I could go on an on about the amazing job they did but, see for yourself. If you are looking to put solar on your home, I 1000% recommend them. If you read this review and decided to go with them, you can thank me by referring them to others that are thinking about going solar. Ziva and Sammy of Moonlight Electric Services are truly the absolute right team to put your solar up. Don't hesitate. Call them today and get their estimate.
