I called Marat, told him I wanted a 200 electrical panel, and he was able to quote me with an excellent price by seeing a picture via text of the existing electrical panel. Given that it was my first time buying a home and not knowing anything about permits and the procedure, Marat walked me through it. He advised that I needed to call LADWP to schedule an appointment with a tech who would mark the spot of the new meter. He then said once there is a meter spot, Marat will get to work --and he did immediately after I got the meter spot. In fact, Marat was there the next day! He worked on the panel for a couple of days, along with his son, and once he installed it, he took care of scheduling the appointment with LADBS. Since I saw how excellent Marat was as an electrician, I also had him install recess lighting in the living room, hallway, family room, and kitchen (amazing job) . I had him install 5 hardwired POE cameras throughout my house. And I also had him check all my GFCI outlets throughout the house and had him replace the ones not working. Marat is not only the ultimate professional who excels at his craft, but he is also very nice and easy going. I highly recommend him for any electrical job.

My wife and I looked on Yelp for someone we felt would click. We are very old school regarding customer service. Well, we chose very wisely. From the first phone call to finishing the job and all the steps in between, Ben and his assistant from In N Out Electrical were everything we'd hoped for. Professional. Kind. Patient. Very good communication. They assessed the job and finished in a very short time. Ben even adjusted our breaker box which, because of age ( it's almost 75 years old) which was definitely going above and beyond what we asked for. With the economy being what it is, we found In N Out's pricing to be fair and reasonable. This is a first class team. If you are looking for an electrician my wife and I highly recommend In N Out Electrical.

I had called several other places and none of them were as practical as these guys. As soon as the two electricians came by, they got to work by taking the fan up into the attic, finding a good enough power source to create an additional line, and were finished within an hour or so. They were all business, in and out, very efficient. Not very personable, but they did communicate their efforts without running into any difficulties. Definitely Experienced electricians. I would surely recommend this business if you need something installed --and don't want to go through the business of wasting a morning talking to someone else, who will charge you more. Steve answered my call on a Saturday morning and was over within a couple hours. I think it's really a 2.5 Stars but I'm rounding up to 3 Stars…read more Cost: I needed to get a dedicated electrical circuit installed for an over the stove microwave. BK Electric came out within a few days to take a look and give an estimate. I had received a lot of estimates for this project and BK Electric was in the lower middle range of the prices I got. Scheduling: This was honestly a nightmare. After I signed the contract and put down a deposit they scheduled me on a day for the following week. This outlet installation was required to be completed prior to a Costco purchased microwave delivery and installation appointment. They cancelled on me and needed to reschedule 3 separate times. Each time I was only notified the day of the scheduled appointment. This caused the follow on Costco microwave installation appointment to need to be rescheduled each time. To be fair to the person in the office, Eli, it wasn't his fault and he was properly scheduling and doing his best to get the electricians out to do the job. It was the electrians who either were calling out that day or last minute going to "higher priority" job sites. However, for the BK Electric as a whole, this is pretty terrible customer service. Work: The quality of the work seemed good. Where and how the ran the line and the junction box with the outlet installation all seemed cleanly done. However, there was an issue where they did not install a GFCI outlet in the new location that required it. This delayed the microwave installation since the Costco installers refused to install without a GFCI outlet. I had to call BK Electric and have them come back and fix it.

I usually have great luck finding home service pros on Yelp but unfortunately my experience with…read moreAlex & Alex electrical was disappointing. Scheduling with them initially was a little confusing - first we were messaging through Yelp, then text, then they sent me to their website. They were communicative but I never knew which channel to reach out to first. They did come out quickly which was appreciated. The first two gentleman that came to replace my fan and fix my ceiling light were not great. They would look at something, and then disappear and call someone and be on the phone with someone while they were looking at the fan or light fixture, almost like they were calling someone and asking them what they should do. Shouldn't they know? They were at my house for HOURS. WAY longer than I think they should have been. They would just look at the light fixture and talk to each other for like 5 minutes, then step out to make a phone call, then come back and start working on it. Over and over and over. They took a brand new fan out of the box and replaced it, but it wobbled like crazy (turns out they just didn't put the fan together really well because the second guys that came back made it much better). When they replaced my dimmer switch and celiing light, it looked AWFUL. Wasn't flush to the ceiling at all. They told me just to patch it, but this clearly needed more than a patch! I couldn't believe they just left it like that. I called and told them I was unhappy with their work, and they offered to come back and fix it. The second guys that came back were in and out so fast. They fixed the light and it looks perfect, just as it should. Clearly the first guys that came out had no idea what they were doing. Disappointed to have had a less than stellar experience, considering how highly reviewed they are. It must depend on what service folks you have come out to actually do the work.
