We absolutely love this park! There is tons of space to play, multiple playsets, tennis courts, basketball courts, as well as a fitness track that surrounds the entire area. It also has a closed off parking lot which makes it easier to see who is coming and going since there is only one entrance and exit. There are also bathrooms but they are not always the best.

Huge park with large sand playground, tennis, volleyball, basketball courts, nature area, and plenty of picnic tables and bbq area. One of the cutest things about the park are the insect etchings in the sidewalk :)

Loved this park a the spots with work out gear was a nice added touch though we didn't use it. Only down side for me is it's close proximity to the road on 2 sides. It makes me nervous having my little ones who may want to play in the field.

Very nice & clean. I wish they had longer hiking trails, but other then that, I prefer this one over others in the area.

Brightly lit at night. Perfect for a picnic dinner and for kids to work off some energy at the playground!

It's a great, clean, and large park in a residential area of NW Phoenix. Play area for children and parking available. Loved it.

So when I was visiting my friend in Phoenix, she wanted to take me to one of her favorites, Encanto Park. Of course, the name immediately made me think of the Disney movie, so naturally we played the Encanto soundtrack all the way there! Unfortunately, we picked a particularly brutal day to visit because it was a blistering 110° in Phoenix. Needless to say, our visit was a pretty quick lap around the park! It was beautiful and appeared to be fairly well maintained and clean. I was curious about why the water was SO green, though. I'm not sure if that's typical or just a result of the heat. There wasn't a whole lot happening while we were there, which wasn't surprising given the temperature. Even Enchanted Island, the amusement park attached to Encanto Park, wasn't open yet because of the heat. One thing I absolutely loved was the drum circle. I could have stood there and watched for quite a while, but we knew we couldn't stay outside for too long in that heat, so we moved along. Overall, the park looked beautifully maintained and fairly clean. I definitely think this would be a great place to hang out, explore, or spend the day on a much more reasonable-temperature day. I'd love to come back when it's not 110° because I have a feeling there's a lot more to experience here than we were able to see during our very hot and very quick visit!

You have a number of paved walkways zigzagging through some very nice landscaping with lots of palm trees, an island and a bunch of picnic tables, and crossing over a number of canals and lakes. A big parking lot makes for easy access too.

We've had some bad experiences with wasp infested splash pads lately but this one was not bad at all, I think I saw one flying around. Definitely a good amount of shading here, making it nice for the summer. My son had a lot of fun and this park was super clean and not overly crowded. Would definitely recommend and will come back again,

I'd give the cleanliness and overall park quality a 10/10. There's something for all ages, and it's easy to spend a whole afternoon there. The train is definitely cute and fun for kids, but it's a bit overpriced at $5 per ticket, even for a one-year-old. Unfortunately, our experience with the train staff really took away from it. The woman taking tickets was extremely rude and didn't speak to us at all -- no hello, no eye contact, no thank you, nothing. It honestly felt like she didn't want to be there or interact with families. I was trying to make it a fun moment for my child by having them hand over the ticket, but they actually got scared and hid behind me. The woman selling the tickets, on the other hand, was very kind and welcoming. The park itself can also get very crowded, and we noticed older kids sometimes take over the younger kids' play areas, which can make it hard for little ones when there's roughhousing or inappropriate language. That's not really the park's fault, but it's something to be aware of if you have small children. Overall, it's definitely worth visiting at least once because it's a beautiful space with tons to do. I personally prefer smaller neighborhood parks for a calmer experience, but Anthem Community Park is great in terms of facilities. The biggest areas for improvement would be crowd management in the play areas and better, more family-friendly staffing for the train.
