Bonus is that there's a bathroom that is clean and kept up during the official park hours. There are two different park entrances and parking areas. The second one further up the road is the one that has more spaces available during the early morning. Just know on the weekends, this place is packed and that you usually have to compete with the sports leagues for spaces to park and will have to park on the street. Glad to have a nicely maintained, safe community park so close by.

This park was very near our Airbnb and was a great location to regroup, extend our rental car reservation, & let the kids burn off energy. This park is noticeably clean & bum free. There was a cop who stopped by to use the restrooms. We're unsure if people stuck stickers on the swings or if they are in fact, "brand named." It's also a dog park. The train is definitely cute and fun for kids, but it's a bit overpriced at $5 per ticket, even for a one-year-old. Unfortunately, our experience with the train staff really took away from it. The woman taking tickets was extremely rude and didn't speak to us at all -- no hello, no eye contact, no thank you, nothing. It honestly felt like she didn't want to be there or interact with families. I was trying to make it a fun moment for my child by having them hand over the ticket, but they actually got scared and hid behind me. The woman selling the tickets, on the other hand, was very kind and welcoming. The park itself can also get very crowded, and we noticed older kids sometimes take over the younger kids' play areas, which can make it hard for little ones when there's roughhousing or inappropriate language. That's not really the park's fault, but it's something to be aware of if you have small children. Overall, it's definitely worth visiting at least once because it's a beautiful space with tons to do. I personally prefer smaller neighborhood parks for a calmer experience, but Anthem Community Park is great in terms of facilities. The biggest areas for improvement would be crowd management in the play areas and better, more family-friendly staffing for the train.

We've had some bad experiences with wasp infested splash pads lately but this one was not bad at all, I think I saw one flying around. Definitely a good amount of shading here, making it nice for the summer. My son had a lot of fun and this park was super clean and not overly crowded. Adj: Fancy and Fun at Fountain Park…read more So while on a trip to AZ, we came to this park kind of on a whim because we were staying in Fountain Hills. It was close to the hotel we stayed at and I read some great things about this park and my kids loved playgrounds, so off we go. It's been redone so it did not always look so fancy schmancy, but let me tell you this town and neighborhood is quite well to do so I think the funding is not lacking. The park is right next to the man-made lake which is made famous because of the fountain that goes off multiple times every day! But back to the park, the playground really is fun. There's things to climb, slide down, run onto, jump up and down on, and even a zip-line like thing that was kind of scary for me (yes, I'm a scaredy cat). My kids had a great time on that thing and my son in particular went crazy on it going back and forth multiple times. Overall, this is a great park, the playground alone is worth a visit, but then there's covered seating area not far from the playground, and right next to that there's a musical section where you can hit on different metallic objects to make music! My kids really had fun w/those things. There are benches for parents to chill after exertions on the play structure. The view of the lake is nice from anywhere at the park too. Lovely and enjoyable. We would love to visit again.

It seems to be most known for its center piece, the fountain. The area appears to be very safe and even the bathrooms were reasonably clean and had no graffiti.
