Angel Veintidos and his crew worked diligently with care and were done with planting and the clean up of 3 trees within one hour. We had instruction care already from Dustin, but Angel also went out of his way to also send us his personal notes for tree care. Just know that everyone works on commissions all of the people in the building. It's like a car dealer everybody in there works on Commission. $1,786.16 for 9 southern wax Myrtle's. About $200 each plant and that was half of their normal price.!! Plants were established and in the ground for months then last winter got down to 18° and killed all , supposed to be cold hardy down to 0°. you only get a guarantee on the plants if they plant them and I can only imagine they would've charged about $2000 to do that.. get your stuff from Lowe's or any other landscaping place and hire some people to do any kind of heavy work and pick everything out yourself. Really great experience with Moon Valley nurseries from picking out our trees with Kelly in store to Sean Washburn & crew coming out to plant. Kelly made going in simple and it only took about an hour from start to finish. We have a large yard that was empty and needed some love. Sean and his team arrived on time, planted everything in 30 minutes. They were extremely nice, walking us through the process of installation. Very precise and professional. From start to finish using Moon Valley has been a wonderful experience. Indeed we spent a lot of money, but they realize this and it has been worth it! Our salesman, Carlos was incredibly knowledge and guided us on design and the best Holly to use for our privacy hedge for this area. I'm an avid gardener but moving from Coppell (Dallas area) to Buda was very different in growing conditions. Carlos Nieto listened to what I was going for and spent much time talking this through with me. He's also professional and extremely detailed in getting back to you promptly. The waiting time for delivery and install was again handled with customer satisfaction in mind. Install has been meticulous! Holes dug one day, plants deliver and installed the following. Angel Veintidos and his Team handled all of this for us and it was OUTSTANDING! Professional, attention to every little detail. For example, trees were placed and then he expertly moved some of them around to get just the right fullness for this first summer. His top desire was to please us. He then spent time detailing care, water scheduling and nutrient information. Lastly, they left our pool area picked up, hosed down and actually cleaner than it was when they showed up. read more

My partner and I worked with Moon Valley Nurseries to restore shade and privacy to our backyard after the city of Austin went "scorched-earth" on the greenbelt behind our fence line. Kelly Carson worked with us to develop a plan that would ensure we had tree cover year-round; her enthusiasm for her work was immediately apparent! She did an excellent job ensuring we were well-informed from planning, to purchasing, and finally, to planting. The day before planting, the dig team (whose team lead's name I don't have handy; apologies!) came out to our house, and after double-checking the flag locations with us, got right to work! They were quick, quiet (truly an accomplishment when you're digging through limestone, clay, and concrete buried by builders), and polite. On the day of planting, Vincent Romero and his team took fantastic care of us. They arrived right on time, confirmed the layout of the trees, and got everything planted in no time! Once planting was completed, Vincent walked my partner and me through the care that our trees would require, both within the next few days and for long-term health. We bought a dozen trees, they've all done well with care except two, John came out for our paid maintenance plan and he was very helpful. We looked at all the trees, found no problems and John went to work. He took care of our purchased trees and even found scale on one of our existing crepe Myrtle and explained to me how to easily treat it. The two with issues, one died, it's in a very hot space with rock, the second went into shock but is still alive but the top is gone, he said they would replace them both. My husband & I picked out 5 hollies in June. They came and planted the trees 6/11/25. We did everything as instructed (which included a lot of products). One holly died about a month later and two others look dead. The first holly was replaced but we've received conflicting information from different people and the Holly's haven't been replaced? read more

Very beautiful place, I came for the first time after driving by for years. I saw the trees but did not know it was a nursery!!! They now have these awesome statues out front so I finally decided to check them out. I was greated by Dustin and he was super funny and super chill dude. Dustin explained to me that they grow and Install trees and shrubs as well as home consultions for free so they can help improve the landscape of your home . I ended up buying some beautiful lantana and they had tons of colors to choose from. The GM Tony was awesome too. Since it was my first time he offered me a free Moon juice. I was talking about having some issues with some my plants. He said try our juice and advise on how to apply. Tony also said to send him or Dustin pictures of the plants. Tony advised my of his other product ls but to try the juice in the meantime till he sees the plants.. No nursery I have been too has offered to help out like that, I've brought plants in and seems like no one wanted to help. Not at Buda Moon Valley! Tony and Dustin are awesome. Unfortunately, I was in the market for pots/planters and they did not have as large of selection as I would've thought based on the size of the business. If you are looking for larger more mature plants and trees, I would recommend them. If you are looking for decorative pots and or planters for outdoor use, I would try somewhere else. read more

We stopped by one day to get an idea of what we were looking for. After walking around, we any inside and Kelly greeted us. She had just finished up with another customer, but gave me her information and asked me to text her pictures of the area we were looking to landscape. She told us that she would draw up a design and get it back to us the next day or so. I texted her the pictures and then the next day texted her the amount of time the area was in the sun. It's been about a month now and I still haven't heard back from her. The plants were beautiful, but definitely pricy. read more
