The Service is very bad , especially the lady named Elena. Bad quality and bad attitude. I would not suggest anyone to book an appointment with her . You will waste your money.

I've been living in Boston for a while now and what I've come to quickly realize is that you're not going to get better than Moon Light Nails & Spa, you just simply cannot beat the service at this salon. As soon as you walk in you are greeted with smiles after smiles. The workers here are beyond kind and have incredible hospitality. If you want a beautiful manicure in a relaxing environment, this is by far your best option.

Gel mani! #princessesrule #opi
Nandanie S.

Pleasantly pleased with my gel manicure. I did my research well before making an appointment and I was happy with services. Lots of colors, clean salon and prices are great! There's 4 color books in the waiting area that has Essie, Gelish and of course OPI colors to choose from. I was not disappointed with the array of choices. I want to try the sns powder next time! Could be something fun to try to see how it works and how long it lasts.

Nails

I had my nails done back in November 2023 before going on Thanksgiving break. I asked for winter/fall nails and the nail tech did an Amazing job!! The colors are pretty and prefect length I was wanting. I highly recommend this nail & spa. The people are super friendly and nice!

Chipped 5 days after getting them done

I was verbally assaulted here- I asked the man if I could go to the bathroom and he ignored me (literally just tell me no sorry it'll mess up the process I don't care but don't ignore me??) and when I mentioned there was a piece of fluff on my nail (which I said nicely I was not attacking him at all) he said to me "I'm going to drill that off! That is my job, your job is to sit still and be quiet." In addition to this insulting comment, he took AN HOUR AND A HALF to do a dip manicure without removal!! No wonder I had to pee! I got these done a week and a half ago and they started chipping after only 5 days. Wouldn't go here again if It was the last nail salon left on earth.

2.5 week dip French

If you are looking for a thorough meticulous mani/pedi - this is your place - services do take time but we'll worth it in my opinion. I have only seen two people in the salon at a time so it is best to make an appointment. I've been getting dip French where they use white powder for the tip - not gel polish - so it lasts SO much better. They do the dip thin and natural not thick AF like other places. Highly recommend.

Dip manicure - color ST 124

I love Yes! Nails. The owner (the male) was so meticulous the entire time with my dip manicure!! I love that he used the buffer to thin out the dip on my nails...most salons I've been to don't buffer it out enough so it creates a thick layer. He also used the dip top coat polish instead of a gel top coat, which is the right way to do it!!...some places don't do that, which makes the gel top coat chip in a week. Anyways, check this place out. Everyone in there is so kind. FYI they don't have fake nails here so if you need a tip for your nail, you won't be able to get one here. Don't let that stop you from coming here!

The best nail salon! Always clean and disinfected instruments. The technician is opening up a disinfected package of the instruments right in front of you, and not taking them from drawers like in other places. Gel manicure lasts more than 2 weeks. They use 3 different types on bond and nail foundation that makes your gel to last so long. Before COVID they used to give you gloves to protect your hand skin from ultraviolet light. The salon is big, clean and bright, not small and crowded like other places! I drive 30 min just to get my manicure at this salon!

Love my manicure!

I'm in love with my gel manicure from this salon. The technician was meticulous about my cuticles and very careful when applying the polish. She took her time which is the best part. She did an excellent job. The salon was clean and well organized (the gel colors were in a handy little booklet). The salon was quiet, for me that's relaxing! Overall, I will come back to Yes Nails and Spa. If you want a well done manicure, this is the place to go!

Manicure

I just went to Yes Nails and Spa and it was a 10/10 experience! They are super nice, detail-oriented, and (most importantly) very clean and sanitary! I got a regular mani/pedi which came out to be $40 and I am very happy with my decision to go here. They just gains a forever customer :) Highly recommend it here!

They do a good job but it literally takes them an hour and a half to do a manicure, and they do not listen at all.

So I'm vietnamese but most people can't tell…read more... I love going to get my nails done and seeing what they say... I had a guy name jack do my mani/pedi, he was sweet. He didn't talk much at all...and was pretty good at giving massages...everything was great..until I asked for a design. He first said it was 5 dollars, which is fine. He brought over a case for me to pick and I picked one I really liked, and he told me he couldn't do it, and if i wanted it he can get someone to do it for me. I said that was fine. 2 mins later after he kept looking at the design he tells me it'll actually be 7 dollars for that design...why? I didn't ask but i figured he didn't want to do it. He attempted to do it and could not do it. He brought over a girl to do it, and she says in vietnamese to him "you should have just told her, that her nail was too small to do that design." and he says "I tried but it didn't work"...umm no you didn't... She managed to do the design...it looked nothing like that sample but I didn't want to make a fuss.. Overall I enjoyed everything up until the design part. Don't have samples if you can't do them.... He also ended up charging me 6 dollars for the design not 7...So overall 42 for mani/pedi with a design on my index fingers...I've gotten better manicures with better designs for less. But like others said the place is very nicely decorated and the handtowels are a plus.

We wanted to do something nice together and I did my research and decided that this was the place. Our appointment was for 12 PM and we were unfortunately seven minutes late as my kids had misplaced my car keys. I called to let them know and they said it was OK that we still came. The woman that did my mother's nails was very nice and talkative. She had a wonderful personality and was attentive. The nail tech that did my nails on the other hand was the complete opposite. I felt very uncomfortable the entire time, she was not personable or friendly. She didn't speak to me at all only to ask me if my shape was OK and at that point, I didn't feel comfortable enough to tell her that I was not happy with my nails. My nails were almond shaped and outgrown. As shown in the pictures what I left with was not almond shape. In fact, I don't really know what this shape is. They are lumpy and the lengths are all different. My pinky nail on my right hand is also curving to the right and the paint job is messy and rushed looking. When my nails were finished, the technician got up and walked away. She didn't say anything to me. I wasn't even sure how much I owed so I asked the other technician. On their website it states that a fill with gel polish is $48. For my fill and gel polish, with no broken nails, I was charged $60. I mentioned that that was not the price that was posted online, but I didn't make a big deal about it. You're not just paying for a service, you are also paying for an experience. This Is a big part of this job and unfortunately, my technician was lacking in that area. I did not leave feeling good about myself or the job that was done. I have never left a bad review over nails, but I would hate for someone else to have the same experience that I had and I am sorry, but this is not worth $60. Very disappointing.

You don't want to be the person mowed over when you need them, so I would avoid. I have dealt with this salon many times over the years. Usually, something happens and I take a break from them for a few years until they have a staff change. This go around, I had four progressively worse gel manis in a row. Unfortunately, the manicurists here don't have enough time to care about your natural nails. I don't know if the owner isn't allocating enough time for the service or they are letting other clients run late but the staff here always seem like they are rushing, especially with gel removals. That means they end up hacking away at your natural nails, which leaves them in progressively worse shape. After my last mani, my thumb nail ripped hours later when I reached into my pocket for dog poop baggies. There is also evidence of polish pooling at the cuticles with the nails grown out. It wasn't the best mani by a long shot and I'm sure the manicurist likely knew that. Ahead of a trip to the Berkshires, I booked a gel removal only for today. Appeared for my appointment 5 minutes early. The receptionist literally said that since I was just booked for removal, I could have a seat. I sat there for 20 minutes. During this time, some hyenas getting complicated nail art were harassing me for no good reason. I said nothing to them, but they were making appearance-related comments and laughing. In the past when running behind, the receptionist has called and texted to ask if it's okay to push my appointment back, but not today - I guess because it was "just" a removal. I'm currently the primary caregiver for an elderly relative who was with a paid caregiver during this time. I wasn't going to sit around all afternoon waiting for "just" a removal and also didn't want to continue having to listen to the hyenas. The receptionist had left her desk after checking me in and hadn't returned. No updates from anyone on staff. I walked out of the salon...and am left with a mess on my nails for a weekend at Tanglewood. Different people are of course treated differently. I watched a white family come into this salon once with the daughter having booked everyone at the wrong location. There were three of them and a packed salon but they still found a way to accommodate them on time. I've also seen whites come in for removals only and get served on time. And the logic of prioritizing high cost services doesn't math if you've been a loyal customer - having dropped hundreds over multiple visits - and you need the not-so-great work of one of this salon's manicurists off your nails. It's still "just" a removal??? All of the manicurists at this location have their pluses and minuses. Siobhan was wonderful when she worked here but no longer does. Francesca is the only person I would trust here these days but she's careful, which means that she's usually running behind. Also, her cuticle work isn't the best - they sometimes look a little more ragged after she works on them. Didn't have a good experience with Q. She really hacked up my nails doing a gel removal and she applied a subsequent gel polish too thick. Note about comments from the "manager": Thank you so much for reaching out directly to apologize for the poor service. (Wait--my mistake. That must've slipped your mind.) While we're celebrating great communication, you may have also overlooked the part where your receptionist wasn't at her desk. Small detail, I know. Just to clarify: I call out what I experience, which I'm fully entitled to do. You're certainly welcome to say everyone is treated well--when the appointment actually starts on time and the service runs as scheduled, like it did for the clients who walked in after me. And as for your records, they may want to double-check themselves--unless "waiting for someone to vacate the chair" now counts as part of the treatment time.

I understand that not all salons service kids, which is completely fine--but if a location offers the service, I expect the experience to be thoughtful and age-appropriate. That wasn't the case here. My niece is 9 and was well-behaved, quietly watching videos on her phone or talking to me. Her service felt extremely rushed. The intention was for us to enjoy the experience together, but we were separated. It felt like they simply soaked her feet and painted her toes--no real care or attention. When it came to her manicure, they didn't trim her nails and barely filed them before painting. As for my services, for the gel pedicure my massage chair was broken and the water was cold, which was frustrating. My gel manicure also felt rushed--minimal cuticle care and overall just a push to get me out quickly. What made this more disappointing was that there were only two other customers in the salon and several employees present, many of whom seemed more focused on doing their own nails than servicing clients. I did not return and would not recommend this location. Also worth noting: parking in the area isn't great. Expect to find street parking one or two streets over.
