The coleslaw had a rather large chunk of cabbage core on top of my portion cup, right away I knew it wasn't house made. Okay so I removed that, still excited to try the coleslaw but as I forked it I noticed the dressing had a weird texture. I smelled it and tasted it and as suspected it was about to turn. No more coleslaw for me. The panini which sounded excellent was weird. I'm just not sure why it didn't taste good with all of those wonderful ingredients. And although I'm not positive, I suspect that the chicken breast wasn't an actual chicken breast. It was an interesting texture and flavor, kind of like chicken at a theme park where it's more like a patty instead of cut right off the ribs like you would find in the grocery store. This was just an off putting food experience unfortunately. My lunch mate said that the home fries were really good and he appreciated that they gave him gluten free toast at no up charge, though he said the bread was soggy, which is an interesting comment to make about toast. He said the omelette was an omelette.

Breakfasts included-- Chocolate-stuffed Belgium waffle (too sweet for my taste but enjoyed by my granddaughter), Greek Omelet, and Kentucky Benedict. Each of us was pleased with the quality of the food, the excellent service, and the variety of choices on the menu in addition to the creative specials offered. Server was friendly, efficient, attentive, and helpful in making choices. Coffee was very good and refilled promptly. We will return soon and have one of their creative sounding lunch offerings.

Wine came after 20 min at which time they told us they were out of short rib ( they couldn't have told us sooner? Like when we ordered?) Shrimp cocktail came more than 30 min after we ordered and asked 2x when it was coming. The 3 Shrimp fir $20+ were large. The sauce was flavorful but had so much horse radish it was almost painful. Bread and entrees came out an hr after we ordered( the second time). Asked for butter several times and had to ask for silverware and napkins. New waitress being trained was pleasant but the main waitress was ok but no apologies for the delays and s bit snipy when I mentioned to give the chef feedback that the fries and scallops were extraordinarily salty ( we are a little sensitive as both on no added salt diet). Fried haddock was good and large portion. Veggies with the scallops were tasteless and jasmine rice really salty. Unfortunately we will not return. Sad to start the nice weather with a poor experience. A little TLC on the wait staff part may have made a little difference.
