Bubble tea shop located in the Garner 5th Avenue shops on the side facing the highway. There is ample parking in the lot and the shop itself is good in size, plenty of seating. I came an hour before they closed on a Sunday to go, however there were a few people that had just ordered for in. It was a nice quiet atmosphere, but not the quiet where you feel you need to whisper. The shop looked clean and very organized. Based off of my receipt, you can save a little bit of money if you use cash however I was still charged a card fee while using cash for some reason. My classic Moomoocha with boba came out pretty fast and tasted good - definitely could taste the black tea. The boba was nice and chewy. I think this is a great bubble tea shop for Garner. read more

I was in the mood for a refreshing drink so I looked up the closest Boba spot. This location was a little difficult to find for a first timer. It's located on the backside of the strip complex. Way to miss. However, when you walk in, you're instantly stepping into a world of color and excitement. It's cute, quiet, and pink. The service is quick. The cafe is very cute and the prices are good...but I had to wait about 15 minutes for my drink and it wasn't great. I ordered a kit from Amazon and it honestly tasted better than this. I can't believe I've never heard of MooMooCha, especially since I consider myself a boba fanatic. Well, I was in the area and got a Classic MooMooCha with boba, less ice, and 75% sugar. It was good - the boba was chewy, though I'd prefer it to have a sweeter taste. The milk tea tasted pretty similar to Milklab's Brown Sugar Black Milk Tea, which is a good thing since I live for that drink. I stopped by 5 PM on a Saturday, and it wasn't very busy. The interior is well decorated and has indoor seating. Location-wise, it took me a second to realize that you had to drive around back to find a whole other line of shops, including MooMooCha. read more

As you walk in you're greeted with such vibrant colors and sweet gentle spoken people. The only complaint is the tea tasted like it was left sitting in the keg for a while but you can't expect too much from such a hidden tea shop. read more

Recommended place for boba tea, bubble waffle ice cream, and other beverages! They have a variety of items available clearly displayed on a large menu. The employees are helpful and efficient. We stopped by on a Sunday afternoon. The store was busy, but we were able to place an order soon after arriving and find a table to sit at while waiting for our drinks. The establishment has a bright, welcoming atmosphere. Our drinks were ready first, a boba tea and a pina colada with lychee jelly and pomegranate poppers. I was very impressed with the pina colada. The drink was packed with toppings and very refreshing and flavorful. The bubble waffle ice cream took longer to arrive, but was worth the wait. The waffle is tasty and the strawberry ice cream had a good flavor. We did not add any additional flavors, but they do offer flavored waffles and toppings. Sat for several minutes seeing people come and go, so they have customers. Two workers and no welcome when you come in and no words when you leave. It's so small that customer service is so important to keep people coming back. Drinks can't be mediocre when your customer service also isn't that great. It's a small town and there is the potential for regular customers. Welcome people and if they're having a hard time deciding, ask if they have questions about the menu. I love Boba. I go to boba shops all over the triangle and search boba shops out when I travel. One reason I love going to coffee shops and Boba shops is my love the employee interaction. A friendly smile from behind the counter. A friendly staff member to ask me how my day is going or letting me know "thanks for coming back into our shop". When I was a manager of over 60 employees and the revenue of over $1 million my primary job outon the floor was to recognize our regular customers, remember their first name, and if they had a "go to regular meal". The restaurant owner encouraged each of the 4 managers to connect to a couple of our regulars and encouraged us to purchase their meal for them three or four times a year. I loved this part of my job. because I love making someone's day and to help them feel recognized and appreciated. I also I had a great relationship with the staff because we had a lot of trainings on friendliness and how to connect to customers because loyal customers bring their friends, their family and loyal regulars are your best form of advertisement. I share all of this because it is the exact opposite of how myself and people I introduced to Moomoo Cha are treated. I feel very strongly it is the responsibility of the staff of Moomoo Cha to not only be friendly but also help to educate each of their customers. Boba is a very new love for most people here in the triangle. When a product is new, people don't always know really what they are looking for or what to order and staff need to be asking more questions so the customer is completely satisfied with their drink because Boba drinks are not cheap. It's over $6 for an average drink so when you add the tip on it can be easily become $7+ for one drink. The way their menu is set up with milk tea is on one side and then smoothies and slushes on the other side it's a little too much to take in at first glance. My friend the other day and wanted to order A smoothie but the staff member pointed to the milk tea which is a liquid milk drink with ice and my friend just saw that it was the purple drink She likes. But when she got it she was quite disappointed and the staff simply said "well this is what you ordered". when I asked my friend if the staff had told her about the other side of the menu with the smoothies & vthe slushes she said she didn't know that there was a backside to the menu because it was not brought to her attention by the staff member. my friend and I went in the next day and the staff remembered her and they know me very well because I am A very faithful regular and average about $40-$60 every month on Boba drinks at Moomoo Cha. I simply shared with the staff that my friend was disappointed because the drink was not what she was anticipating and my friend felt like the staff didn't really care about her being satisfied. they were also very adamant they were not going to give her a drink for free, which we had not asked for. I was simply giving feedback about educating new customers. By simply asking your customers do you want that as a liquid milk drink over ice or would you prefer for it to be blended in a blender like a smoothie? Answering that question could save them a lot of headache because The stuff said when they first open the business many people were very unsatisfied with what they were getting because it wasn't what they ordered, so they thought" so their policy is to no longer offer to remake drinks if it's not what the customer thinks they ordered. It's all on the customer to learn the menu backwards and forwards. I say this because the owner said everything is on our menu. Well, that might Be true but people in a new situation or leaning on The staff to help educate them. The MooMooCha Cha staff became very unpleasant when I gave them simple feedback for them to ask a few simple questions to new customers so they get exactly what they want out of there $7 investment. I'm really bummed I have to give a local Boba shot one star. But with such poor customer service policies along with their lack of saying hello when people come through the door into their shop, no one has ever asked me how I'm doing or if I'm having a good day and no one has ever said thank you for returning to Moomoo Cha and they appreciate my business. Not one of them. this family run small business unfortunately is a very very poor example of basic customer service Etiquette. It's quite a bummer read more

Chocolate chip cookies are so buttery and succulent! Got the Taro latte boba which tasted like the real thing, nice and fresh. I think it was actual purée taro in it! And I was floored. The boba, and I mean the BOBA was amazing. I drink the stuff all the time and make my friends accompany me to boba shops frequently, but these pearls were the most springy, chewy, and addicting I've had. I was there when MC was at Moo Moo Cha. The only person that was rude was her! She wanted them to change how they do business. Wanted them to explain everything before you even order. (Starbucks doesn't even do that). If a person has a question I think it is up to them to ask (do you?) I think the staff there is VERY friendly. But you can't expect people to read minds. That customer must have thought she was the queen of England. (Talking down to folks). I think they had enough of that and had that person leave. Everyone cheered after that.
