Every year these guys appear in Big E with Moo Nut, which is donut filled with ice cream. That's how I started noticing this place. It was kind of in the middle of no where. Chocolate hazelnut was my favorite flavor here. Peach and cannoli were mediocre flavors. Apple fritter with banana ice cream was good. They should add a little bit more banana flavor to the ice cream. Overall all flavors should be made a bit more intense. You take ice cream from a stand. There are some indoor seating as well as some out door seating. I went on an evening. I tried to sit at outside, but the mosquitos attacked me. So I had to go inside. read more

We couldn't, and we were rewarded with a visit to a spacious and very nice place with an impressive menu of frozen treats. Eleven creative and very yummy sounding sundaes (Mudd Slide, Cow Pie, Conga Muck, Sum Moors), cones, drinks, hard serv. soft serv, yogurt- if its cold and creamy they sell it. I had a banana flavor burst soft serv cone- it's vanilla soft serv infused with internal swirls of banana flavoring- it wasn't super banana-ee, but it was pretty good nonetheless. Unfortunately I went to Moolicious and there was not one cookie in my ice cream, and I'm not the plain vanilla type so I threw it out. I'd give this place another try just because of the variety of ice cream they have but I'm giving them 2 stars for giving me just vanilla. First of all the prices are very high (IMO) Second my pistachio ice cream was vanilla ice cream with a few, very very very few actual nuts in it. First... Walked in for the first time and received a warm welcome from the owners. Check. Then... Overwhelmed by their selection of flavors! Place is super clean and the fireplace adds a cozy feel to it. Finally... Of course, the main attraction was the ice cream. Stopped in to check out their Italian ice as the sign at the road intrigued us. The missus got the strawberry and I opted for mango which they were out of and my only other option was lemon. The lemon was okay but the strawberry was very good, probably the best I've had. Very pricey though for a couple of ices was just over ten bucks. read more

A bit underwhelming, unfortunately. On our trip home from Mass. I came across these super high ratings and I was thrilled to try a new soft serve place, especially at a farm! It just wasn't that great unfortunately. While the selection is immense, the product itself is just average. As an avid ice cream eater, I was disappointed. The flavors were fine - not fantastic, the creaminess was just...not that creamy. The soft serve was akin to a dairy queen or fosters freeze. They claimed to have many flavors of soft serve, but they really just take their vanilla base and add some syrup. The place is cute and kitschy and they have all kinds of interesting stuff on the walls and inside and outside. They also serve food, which I didn't have the opportunity to try. If this were more "on the way" to my travels, it wouldn't have been nearly as disappointing, but it was significantly out of the way, which made it all the more heartbreaking. read more

Went to this place after getting pumpkins across the street. Was looking for a relaxing little place to eat and drink with a nice environment. I wasn't far from what I had hoped would be what I was looking for when I walked into Moo-licious. The place was very cute; it was countryesque and quaint. The decorations were nice and it is neat you can play checkers on your table. The price of the food is spastic, random things are expensive while a large drink is only $2. The service was definitely lacking. The girls who worked there were eating while they were working and it was very blatant. I was refused a refill on my soda so I bought another at full price. Some things were just not right about this place, including the beef stew. Probably won't go back, however the ice cream might be worth your time (I didn't try it). read more

I like to spread the news when possible, so I'm typing this review to let others with dairy allergies know, they have vegan ice cream here. Granted it was only one flavor (vanilla) and it wasn't that good, but slopped in peanut butter sauce make it taste ok. In western mass, even that seems hard to come by. This place is so good. They have my absolute favorite ice cream, dole whip!! I grew up in Hawaii and used to get dole whip straight from the pineapple plantation. The ice cream taste exactly the same :) they also have a few cute areas for kids to play and run around and a little petting zoo. Very family friendly! I have been here several times for ice cream which is amazing itself but today I got food and it was even better. I had the bacon cheese melt and my student had the grilled chicken sandwich. On top of the amazing food we had excellent service. The staff went above and beyond to accommodate myself and my student who has autism. My family loves this ice cream place! We have even gone for a pancake breakfast fundraiser and are planning on going to the same fundraiser this Sunday. My 1 criticism would be ordering a moo-nut. It is a plain donut stuffed with your choice of ice cream flavor and toppings. My moo-nut was previously frozen and not thoroughly microwaved/defrosted...it was off-season though. Outside they have seating (and inside also with a warm cozy fireplace). They have a play area for kids with a rope attached to a tree to swing off of. There are also bunnies, 2 very funny goats and potbelly pigs. We always enjoy going here - even in the winter!
