MOOKEY'S

that nasty ass shit got me sick!, and honestly it's a walking hotwater bbl on wheels that needs some seasoning and better staff, customers dont deserve bad attitudes when asking simple questions about an order!

Peach cobbler (lg) what in the world is this ? This isn't even cooked and the taste is so distasteful and a waste of money.

I was told I was ordered from the wrong menu clearly this is what popped up when I search. the catfish was definitely not worth 20$ and the Mac & cheese was full a grease, smelled awful and distasteful. definitely won't be returning

1 piece Catfish only no sides

Food was delicious. I would try it again. The catfish was seasoned and fried to perfection. The cabbage was a bit bland.

Way over priced and gross! Hair in my food! Absolutely unbelievable, $35 for bad tasting food hair in it. Will never eat or recommend this place to anyone.

2pc fried or smothered pork chops with 2 sides and cornbread
Yolanda L.

First time trying the oxtails and smothered pork chops was well seasoned with a great gravy. The Mac and cheese was ok to me but don't cut my head off I'm not a Big Mac and cheese eater , the collard greens and black eye peas were delicious also the dressing was just ok also and the peach cobbler is ok too. Check them out they are on the delivery apps also

I wish I could give zero stars. The food was trash and the service was worse. The stud with a taper, take a day off

$10 for a single pork chop. $7 for a side of anything. That's insane. And the food is only mediocre at best.

Bombshell Treat Bar - Boo-kley Interior

Bombshell Treat Bar

You choose your bar or soft serve option, then your syrup or chocolate, and add on any other toppings like sprinkles, marshmallows, dummies, and more. There are also custom preset versions to choose from. Bombshell has non dairy ice cream options and lots of gluten free toppings which is highly appreciated if your family has any dietary restrictions as mine does. There's also coffee drinks, hot chocolate, and pretzels. There are seasonal and monthly specials. The store is bright and clean, and the staff are lovely and happy to help. This has become a neighborhood favorite. They cater too!

Especially when you run into this one particular cashier; you know who you are. The passionate, and the absolute most sweetest. The room is very cute. Stripped back pink and white decor with a backdrop of a flamingo sunset, i was blessed with the perfect environment to get some great ice cream. This spot is very well known for its involvement with the Berkley community; this year's Halloween kicked off with a ghost-hunting game, ran by Bombshell, with ghosts painted on different Berkley locations. If you got them all right, you earned a free piece of candy. Yay! I was surprised to see that they just added a Matcha Latte to their drinks menu; one I had to check out. It was alright. Honestly tasted like the ones they have at Starbucks, a very shallow taste of sweetness with a grassy undercarriage. Not worth the price, but refreshing nonetheless. Although I adore simply complex idea of... I forgot the name, so I'll just call it a Pretzel Concoction, I can't get behind how bare knuckles the pretzel is. I'll give it some grace though because the ice cream itself is definitely something. Creamy and memorable. The cherry syrup they use goes so well over the mildly melted ice cream, and it's all my girlfriend could think about throughout the day. I like Bombshell. When we're talking about comfortability, cleanliness, general mood/vibe, and customer service, we reach an easy 5, genuinely some of the best out there. However, the treats you get are quite expensive, and not worth the price. I've had ice cream bars from the gas station that are more enjoyable (and worth it) than the ones at this place. 8 dollars for a single ice cream bar is ACTUALLY laughable. It's just overly sweet white chocolate with pre-frozen, ice cream truck quality "ice cream" inside of it. I'm sorry, it's not even cream. It's just ice. 3/5

Their vegan ice cream is out of this world ever since they changed their base from rice milk to coconut and pea protein. It's so creamy and the best vegan ice cream I ever had. Follow Treat Dreams on social media where they post their updated weekly flavors. Occasionally they have bizarre flavors like Lobster Bisque, Lemon extra Virgin Olive Oil and Bacon. Lol. They are most famous for their Kookie Monster flavor...a nostalgic blue color that's favorite of both kids and adults. You can find their food truck at various events in the area, food truck rallies at the Royal Oak Farmers Market and Urbanrest Brewing Co. Treat Dreams now shares its space with 4 other food vendors in Ferndale's first food hall called Pavilion Street Market. They also sell their ice cream by the pint and i'm kicking myself I didn't get any during my last visit to enjoy at home.

I absolutely love their Kooky Monster flavor: blue vanilla ice cream with Oreos and cookie dough. The ultimate cookies & cream flavor! Not overly sweet and the sandwich version of this is amazing too (sandwiched between two soft chocolate chip cookies). I also tried the root beer flavor and it tasted like I was eating a delicious root beer float! And I've had the cherry marshmallow flavor which was great: it didn't taste artificial and the marshmallow was a nice touch. It's cool how they have all these unique flavors and I'd love to keep coming back to try more!

I was completely and utterly unfamiliar with Chaldean food & Chaldean bakeries before moving here, but I have become quite a fan! I've especially fallen in love with the pastries at Princes'! You'll find lots of phyllo dough and pistachios in Princes' sweets, but there is one pastry that looks and tastes much like one that I buy at the Indian sweet shops on Devon in Chicago. The Indian version is made from chick peas; I have been told. Yet, the sweet maker at Princes' says that his version is made from flour. What kind of flour? I have no idea! The crispy yet syrupy sweet is, nevertheless, delectable! The last time I was in, the sweet maker was especially polite and helpful as he introduced my friend from out of town to the flavors of the Chaldean culture. He kept offering her samples of this and that, and he told her stories about the photographs on the wall of the shop. It was a special and memorable experience. I love this bakery, and I hope it remains in our neighborhood forever and ever.
