We ran into an unexpected couldn't-be-opened issue with a lock we brought ourselves, and what could have been a stressful situation turned into one of the best premium customer service experiences we've ever had. Corky was incredibly friendly, professional, and genuinely wanted to help us get everything taken care of. He made the whole process quick, easy, and completely stress-free. What really stood out was his attitude. He was patient, knowledgeable, and easy to talk to. We even shared some laughs while getting everything sorted out, which made an otherwise frustrating situation very enjoyable. Corky also looked so badass with the lock grinder too. It's rare to meet someone who is both highly professional and genuinely personable. Customer service like this is becoming harder to find, and Corky is a perfect example of how much one great employee can elevate an entire business. My father does a storage unit at a different location and has been having some complaints, but here, I have had no issues and now my father wants to come to My Storage at Jackson Creek. Because of him, we left feeling confident that we chose the right storage facility and that we're in good hands. The facility itself is well secured with cameras everywhere, super clean with a large open layout, super easy to set up a unit and get going, and is quick and efficient at high quality with handling anything regarding their customers. If management sees this, Corky absolutely deserves to be recognized. I had him prior to this incident when I was setting up the unit itself. There was a lot of ice in front of our unit; before I could even ask he had already got the bucket of ice-melt and was headed over to spread it. On other occasions, he has walked over with bottled waters and offered to our group. I think the units are a little pricey and I recently received notice of a rate hike, but there is a customer bathroom on site which is extremely nice.

I said once again, I've never been to this facility, I've never been in the unit and I asked to stop being contacted and billed for this weeks ago. The man I spoke with asked if they had my "permission" to access to the unit to confirm it's empty. I told him that I don't even know how to access the unit so sure! have at! 3 days later I'm charged for the unit. The first person I spoke to said that they could see id never been there and could see that it was confirmed empty. They disconnected and when I called back I got "Darian"... she said that I won't be charged after this month but they have to "confirm" I've "moved out" so that's why I was charged again. You're joking. Everything is electronic... you know that I've NEVER been there and it doesn't take a week to determine whether I've moved out or not when I have quite literally NEVER moved in. I have disputed this with my bank and the bank is getting kickback. The charge is minimal but it's the principal of this. I'm going to pursue legal action if the charge is not reversed and I've already reported them to the BBB. Charging people for services you aren't providing them is illegal and trying to convince them that you need all this time to confirm x, y & z may work on someone who doesn't understand that all of this is electronic but it doesn't work on me. It's not bad enough y'all have had INSIDE JOB theft? You want to continue the bad reputation by charging people for things they aren't even receiving? I went with another facility and have had nothing but the BEST customer service and EASY payments, move ins, access, etc. save yourself the stress and do not even risk working with a facility that's this scummy.

Out of nowhere I got an email that said my storage unit was found unsecured. I just moved to a different (smaller, less expensive) unit a month prior. When I called to try and get some answers, nobody answers and I leave a message. I also sent a reply email. Someone finally called me back a couple of hours later and explained that my unit was likely locked open. They put a lock on my unit and the email said I was being charged for it. I go over to my unit to investigate, and what a runaround! First, I get there and my original lock is nowhere to be found. So I go back to the main office. I then get told that they know nothing about my lock and that I probably had a break in. I go back over to my unit to look at the contents and nothing appears to be disturbed. Meanwhile, I have to use the password key pad for each entry and exit, and the new explanation makes even less sense. I purchase yet another lock from them via virtual assistant. So very frustrating that I can't just talk to a person in person. It's a huge waste of my time. When I asked why they have a manager on site the assistant said they are there to clean the property. Sounds pretty cush to me. I'm not planning on staying there much longer. Don't rent a storage unit here.

I want to first say they are NOT a BBB accredited business. My ex husband had his RV stored at this facility. My ex husband recently passed away in January 17th and LJ was everything but empathetic and helpful. My father in law (next of kin) and I (mother of his heirs) went in to assess and access the trailer Jan25th and was met with a very confrontational and rude manager. He stated nothing could be removed nor could the trailer be removed from the site even though we had death certificate. My ex husband was paid up until march 9th. I called march 14th to get what other additional documentation he needed to remove the trailer or to see if there were other short term month to month options available seeing as I was going to sell assets to pay other bills. He didnt know. He then called back a day later stating what I had offered him of small estate affidavit and death certificate would be ok. He then calls approx 1.5 weeks later stating we were approaching the 30day mark and he was going to auction off the trailer. When I show up with my sister today to see what the options of short term space rental would be, his reply was 3 months "was the best" he could do. I declined and asked what I owed up until today march 26th. He said he was being "kind" and not charging late fees, but then couldn't explain why he charged me a full month's rent today, I was being charged a full month rent, which would have given me until April 9th, but told me that I would have to have it out today. My ex husband was paid until March 9th and a good business practice would have been to prorate the rent from march 9-25th if I was removing it today. When questioned again on the amount he was charging me, he said "that's just the way it is". Please don't do business here. He lacked empathy and took advantage of the situation to further complicate my life trying to work full time, care for two girls and take care of a deceased spouses estate.
