Price was very fair. Daren is very responsive and punctual. I sent him a text, he asked about the job, came by the next morning to take a look and fit me in 3 days later into his schedule. He came right at the time discussed. Best of all he does a "clean room" setup where he drapes the area in plastic so there's no dust from the job (photo attached). He's very detailed, took up the old underlying drywall tape and patched the entire area as needed. We decided after the first day that we needed another coat of paint so he agreed to come the next morning and finish the job. He did a small repatch to get the finish right and applied the last coat, no extra charge. Very professional and detailed, plus a really nice guy.

We were getting on the waiting list. One of his painters has been with him for 26 years! They are meticulous when it comes to fixing all the cracks, peeling, and also rust on wrought iron fencing. They even take pictures to make sure all your backyard furniture is put back where it belongs! The block wall in our backyard separated vertically along the grout line due to tree roots, and they patched it for us. We originally wanted a flat sheen on the house, and Alex recommended a satin sheen, which we were iffy about, so we compromised and ended up using the eggshell, which turned out beautifully. Don't be afraid to try it. It will take the appearance of your home up a notch. You don't pay a cent until the work is completed to your satisfaction, and I was surprised to see so few reviews on Yelp, but he deserves 5 stars from us!

Terrible. This guy is a crook! We worked with Jose for 9 years, but his work isn't good now. Works…read moresuper fast so he can get to the next job, but work is sloppy. Poor quality. No contractor's or handyman's license. Not bonded or insured. Quotes a cheap price, then keeps asking for more money. He'll destroy your garden hoses and spray nozzles because he uses YOURS, not his. His crew broke a glass patio table and wooden donkey cart and then Jose acted like they didn't. In March, he told us he would paint our very small rental property for $5,000 (labor only; we spent over $1,000 more on all the paint, brushes, tape, plastic, etc. We paid for it all. Then 5 days later he asked to "borrow" $2,000 to pay his workers. We trusted him and gave him the money; afterwards, he acted like he didn't know what we were talking about. When I sent him a screenshot of our Zelle payments, he ignored us. Now he's blocked our number. Oh! And one day while he was working with his crew, he called and told us he "forgot" his wallet and didn't have money to feed his crew. So we spent $50 on sodas and lunch and delivered it. Always asking for ice, coffee, donuts, etc. Jose and his crew left a mess when they finally finished; cigarette butts and trash all over. They broke a fixed lock on a gate; just left it lying on the ground. Wires left dangling up high on the fascia, left the address tiles lying in a heap. Completely unprofessional. I feel terrible that I recommended Jose to a neighbor. He left a mess there, too. Cigarette butts. Metal decor falling off the exterior walls. My neighbor took a pic of one of Jose's workers sound asleep under a tree all afternoon. Just horrible. Do not hire this guy.
