One important tip for future customers: This company focuses strictly on remediation, meaning they do not handle the reconstruction or repairs (like replacing drywall) once the mold is gone. This wasn't an issue for me--I simply called around and found a local contractor to patch things up afterward--but it's important to go in with the right expectations and always ask questions! The team members we worked with deserve individual recognition: Brandan came out first to rule out any active plumbing leaks. Once he confirmed the mold wasn't plumbing-related, he kindly offered to inspect the rest of our new home's plumbing. He caught a few minor issues, explained his recommendations clearly, and provided no-pressure quotes. We are so relieved to finally have a trustworthy plumber on speed dial! He then immediately looped in their mold specialist, Ruben. Ruben arrived the very same day to assess the mold and provide a fair quote. He was incredibly sympathetic to our situation and reassured us that he would remove as little material as possible while keeping the home safe and thorough. We immediately knew we were in good hands. A few days later, Ruben and Ivan completed the work. They were punctual, efficient, and surprisingly quiet. Because they saved the wall, Ruben actually adjusted our final invoice down to reflect the lower material removal--a massive financial relief for first-time homebuyers. This is a long overdue review for ATH! They handled two major home projects for us in 2025 in a…read moremidcentury modern condo. This review is for the first one, a bedroom ceiling/roof leak that needed mold mitigation, asbestos testing and renovation. March 2025: Leak originally started as a moisture spot on the ceiling in October 2024 but my HOA ignored it. By March 2025, the ceiling had become so compromised that water streamed in like a waterfall during a massive storm. My original contact was Noah - he gave me an estimate (along with two other companies). I really appreciated how Noah was communicative, informative and thorough. And! he didn't badger me w/ phone calls & emails, like the other two companies did. He understood that I said I would take care of the situation when I could b/c I was in the middle of Massage Therapy school. I understood the "risks" of having mold & just shut the bedroom off. Fast forward to August 2025 & now we're ready to take care of the situation. Noah followed protocol of getting an asbestos test first. Luckily, it was negative. Then Spencer, their Mitigation Specialist? built a special containment room, inside the guest bedroom that sealed off the contaminated area. Heavy duty fans stayed on for about 72 hours? so the area could be thoroughly dried after being treated w/ some kind of mold treatment. Noah was available via text when I had questions - that was surprising & super helpful! Once Mitigation was completed, Noah connected me w/ Jacob at their Restoration Department. He sent over a stellar crew led by David & they proceeded to rebuild about a quarter of the bedroom - meant to mention that they had to rip out dry wall, scaffolding, etc. This crew rebuilt and then refinished the area, including re-installing wainscotting and painting the ceiling + walls. The results? This bedroom looks gorgeous! We were thrilled with how thorough/smooth ATH was w/ this process & how the renovation turned out. I had a water leak in my attic & called a retired relative that referred me to someone he trusted…read moreto immediately fix the leak. The experienced plumber that fixed the leak was quick & fast and referred me to using Drystar as a restoration company. I went with it since the plumber was awesome ( but not affiliated with Drystar). Drystar came out quickly with multi fans to dry the attic & removed all the damaged insulation, drywall and baseboard of an affected wall. They sealed off the attic with tape & plastic tarp until it dried out. ( I had to re-tape the plastic barriers myself several times to keep it secure due to cold weather affecting the tape adhesive). My insurance took care of the pay out to me & Drystar... USAA won't talk direct to a restoration company unless you use their preferred vendors . ( So I was a " go between" several times to keep things moving) . The paint job & the drywall replacement was quality work and it looks good. I needed to remind the company to replace the insulation but that was taken care of immediately. I would use them again. Side note : One of the initial Drystar consultants that conducted the estimate of damage & cost that came to my home initially moved onto another company during this whole process & this caused minor delays as well but overall I was happy with the end result. I felt the cost was very fair for the work done. ( the entire process took several weeks due more to insurance procedures ) .

I would never recommend PREMIUM RESTORATION OR HD RESTORATION, they push you to use your insurance company so they can over charge you!

We recently had our home remodeled and were surprised to find our baseboards next to our sliding…read moreglass doors start bubbling. It turned out that a runaway sprinkler started spraying our door and somehow it leaked into our baseboards. I called Disaster Services and they quickly came to our rescue. Van sealed off the room, took out the damaged baseboards and drywall and ran a couple fans and an air scrubber to dry out the moisture and remove any mold that was present.
