He had told me $400 over the phone, then wrote the bill for $600... Sorry, I'm not paying any more than what's agreed, so it ended up staying at $400. Next rain storm... big shocker.... roof is leaking again. I called him and he said he would come out next Tuesday... Tuesday came and gone, no Gary. That brings us to today, just got off the phone with him. He said he has jobs planned for the rest of the week and can't get out until next week. What about my roof like you had said last week? There is rain in the forecast. When I started to complain he hung up the phone. Stay away from Gary, bad service, and even worse customer service.

Once the crew started, they discovered my deck was going to need a lot more work than we originally thought. I trusted Jesus and gave him the approval to do what needed to be done. Noble did not take advantage of the situation. They were totally fair with the additional fees that were based on the additional labor hours required to do the job right. I feel like Noble was very fair with the price for the additional work and they delivered a good result. Bottom line, I would recommend that and I would use them again!

While the other contractors insisted on replacing an entire section of the roof, Jose explained how it could be properly repaired without unnecessary replacement. He was prompt, professional, and very easy to communicate with whenever I had questions. His pricing was fair and included both a factory warranty and a workmanship warranty, which gave me extra peace of mind. During final inspection, a few issues came up that were unrelated to the roof itself. Jose stepped up and took care of everything, bringing it all up to code and making sure the job was fully approved. My husband and I absolutely loved our experience with Scudder Roofing. Our experience could not…read morehave been better. The people at Scudders used excellent quality materials, with experienced workers, and are very nice, patient, friendly, hardworking, professional, and kept their word. Our roof looks simply fabulous. We first met with Javier, Project Consultant, who explained the process, styles of roofing, potential costs, estimated time to do the job, warranties, payment schedule, and much more. As we were emailed the 19 page contract, and more, I read every word and had numerous questions. I wanted clarity of the contract and did not want any misunderstandings. (I appreciated that everything was in writing, as opposed to a well-known painting company that we had recently dealt with, who gave no paperwork and not only changed what was agreed upon, but did not finish the job.) Javier met with us and patiently answered every question. Really a nice guy. We also met a week prior to our start date of the job with Jaime, Project Manager, to discuss outside and inside protection issues of our plants, trees, and inside wall hangings etc., along with the projected daily schedule. Jaime and his men were always on time, working hard each day, practiced COVID manners, took their appropriate and needed breaks during our hot weather, kept me updated, patiently answered all of my questions, and cleaned up at every day's end. Jaime is a man of integrity for his work and respecting the owner's home. We have a very high challenging roof with different pitches. I would call it a very scary roof to work on and it is why we waited so long to have our roof redone. I thought it a potential accident waiting to happen, but they tackled it with high skill. Anytime that I had questions for the office, I loved, Janet, Connie, and Jen answering the phone with their friendly quick and polite assistance. Martha with the accounting department was the best to put it mildly. Scudders finished to the day that they had said initially it would take, and followed up quickly with their warranty paper work on our roof. They lived up to their word from the very start through to the end. I can't imagine our roof looking any nicer. We could not be happier. Tom and Constance

Now you tell me, what does an 89 year old need with a 50 year roof? It sounds like deliberate deception to me and may even qualify as elder abuse. She was hit with a bill for $49,000 and change and had to take a good deal of money out her IRA and put the rest on a charge card which, if she made the minimum payment each month, would take her 30 years to pay off. Grit Roofing was referred to us. My parents take their home maintenance very seriously and have dealt with plenty of appliance companies, and other contractors over the years. Hector was knowledgeable, professional, and did a great job educating my parents about their roof and the different materials being used. My parents absolutely love their new roof and the color they chose. They're very happy with the entire experience, and I'm glad we were referred to Grit Roofing. From the beginning, Hector was extremely kind, respectful, and easy to talk to. He has a great sense of humor, good character, and you can tell he genuinely wants to do right by people. He took the time to help me with the work I needed and treated my home with care. Hector is a newly licensed roofing contractor, and I'm glad I gave him a chance.
