Pedro explained the process and and also explained the costs and things that might have to be replaced. I also wanted to have some holes cut for skylights and vents and while their company does not do any interior type work, they put the outside parts of the skylights and the new vents in for me exactly where I asked (Pedro even helped me figure out a spot for the kitchen vent when we discovered the location I wanted was too close to a pipe). The time estimate Pedro gave was roughly 10 business days but he and his guys managed to finish a day early, which was great because being in a house while the roof is being put on is awful. I was very impressed by how well the whole operation was coordinated, with the guys work and material arrival and trash removal and running like a well oiled machine. There was also at least one occasion where Pedro did some inspections and made his guys redo something. I don't know exactly what it was but I saw him pointing and talking to his guy and then the guy went and undid a section by the edge of the roof and put new material down. Knowing that Pedro was inspecting for mistakes and making sure his guys did things exactly the way he wanted them done was comforting to know that he was paying attention the quality of the work. Overall the roof looks very nice and I'm very happy with the work, and I would definitely recommend Pedro and his team!

James from Lord Roofing was prompt and communicative with great advice and a real can do attitude. His estimate was extremely competitive and delivered within a couple of days of his visit. His team turned up on exactly the day agreed and the work was done in almost exactly the time frame predicted. His guys were fastidious in cleaning up each night and the final result looks excellent. Above all James is so friendly and gave us a daily rundown on the progress and activity. Needless to say 5* all round. We wouldn't hesitate to recommend their services.

We had an unrelated issue a couple of weeks after. The first plumber that came out said it was the vent and it was related to the roof. Eric could have easily told us that there's no way they caused the problem, but instead he came out on a Sunday to check it out! It was a plumbing issue after all. A more seasoned plumber came out and fixed it. It was so helpful that Eric came out and helped us rule out an issue with the vent. He went above and beyond! We don't have a good photo of the roof before, but it was so dirty and mossy, it looked black. It now looks brand new!

My husband and I absolutely loved our experience with Scudder Roofing. Our experience could not…read morehave been better. The people at Scudders used excellent quality materials, with experienced workers, and are very nice, patient, friendly, hardworking, professional, and kept their word. Our roof looks simply fabulous. We first met with Javier, Project Consultant, who explained the process, styles of roofing, potential costs, estimated time to do the job, warranties, payment schedule, and much more. As we were emailed the 19 page contract, and more, I read every word and had numerous questions. I wanted clarity of the contract and did not want any misunderstandings. (I appreciated that everything was in writing, as opposed to a well-known painting company that we had recently dealt with, who gave no paperwork and not only changed what was agreed upon, but did not finish the job.) Javier met with us and patiently answered every question. Really a nice guy. We also met a week prior to our start date of the job with Jaime, Project Manager, to discuss outside and inside protection issues of our plants, trees, and inside wall hangings etc., along with the projected daily schedule. Jaime and his men were always on time, working hard each day, practiced COVID manners, took their appropriate and needed breaks during our hot weather, kept me updated, patiently answered all of my questions, and cleaned up at every day's end. Jaime is a man of integrity for his work and respecting the owner's home. We have a very high challenging roof with different pitches. I would call it a very scary roof to work on and it is why we waited so long to have our roof redone. I thought it a potential accident waiting to happen, but they tackled it with high skill. Anytime that I had questions for the office, I loved, Janet, Connie, and Jen answering the phone with their friendly quick and polite assistance. Martha with the accounting department was the best to put it mildly. Scudders finished to the day that they had said initially it would take, and followed up quickly with their warranty paper work on our roof. They lived up to their word from the very start through to the end. I can't imagine our roof looking any nicer. We could not be happier. Tom and Constance

Now you tell me, what does an 89 year old need with a 50 year roof? It sounds like deliberate deception to me and may even qualify as elder abuse. She was hit with a bill for $49,000 and change and had to take a good deal of money out her IRA and put the rest on a charge card which, if she made the minimum payment each month, would take her 30 years to pay off. So, if you're a perfectionist, this is the roofer you need. However, even more important than the superior quality of Wolfy's work is their treatment of their clients. There were a number of problems on my job that were no fault of Wolfy's--e.g., the fallout from COVID, the bankruptcy of the supplier of the cement tiles for my job, a nonperforming subcontractor that I had selected for Wolfy's (they had selected a subcontractor and I wanted a different on that they agreed to use), and more. Not even once did Woify's come to me for more money, despite the fact that the foregoing problems added a large amount to their cost of completing my job. To put it simply, Wolfy's is the real deal. When you make a deal with them, the deal is the deal, regardless of why and how much outside factors increase their cost. Moreover, your job will be completed to the highest quality regardless of anything.
