It's too bad that I could not offer Wolfy's more stars. They are unbelievable! There is absolutely no room for improvement of their work--everything they do is perfect. So, if you're a perfectionist, this is the roofer you need. However, even more important than the superior quality of Wolfy's work is their treatment of their clients. There were a number of problems on my job that were no fault of Wolfy's--e.g., the fallout from COVID, the bankruptcy of the supplier of the cement tiles for my job, a nonperforming subcontractor that I had selected for Wolfy's (they had selected a subcontractor and I wanted a different on that they agreed to use), and more. Not even once did Woify's come to me for more money, despite the fact that the foregoing problems added a large amount to their cost of completing my job. To put it simply, Wolfy's is the real deal. When you make a deal with them, the deal is the deal, regardless of why and how much outside factors increase their cost. He was recommended by a few friends for my mothers house in Carmel, but from the sloppy work that was performed and the mess left in the attic and lets not add in the lack of response to phone calls, I think your better off looking at other companies, he is not the cheapest and I was told he was one of the best but looks like things change. Going to talk to the city to see if this violates city building code. His workers did all the work he didn't even inspect the property in question so all of this stuff is being found afterwards since my mother is not in the habit going into the attic. 1. His roofers blocks the exhaust pipe to the furnace, it started acting up so my mother called out the company that installed it and they found the pipe going to the roof had been blocked off ( This could have been very very dangerous ) so they fixed it for her, she called Wolfe and left a message but he never called back. 2. We had someone running wiring in the attic, he is also a house inspector and said one of roof vents was partly blocked and the other one was completely blocked. 3. The attic had tons of left over debris which should have been removed, plastic should have been put down in the attic when the roof was being replaced ( Wood Shake ), now it'sa safety and fire hazzard. 4. They sub'd out the rain gutter screens to a 3rd party and most of the screen have fallen into the rain gutter. The used what looked like thin netting, or a total waste of money. Don't use this company. He didn't know how to do their bids properly, milked the job after they started so I had to pay more, did shoddy worked that leaked and he wasn't willing to fix the leak so I had to call someone else to fix it properly. read more

These guys are the best. They redid our roof and it looks great. They scratched our driveway getting a truck out, and could have not said anything and we would have had no way of knowing who did it (we had other work being done at our house at the same time). But they called me at work right away to let me know what happened, and said that they would be back to fix it. And they came back the next day to do so! I'm beyond impressed with these guys work ethic and professionalism. I have recommended them to everyone I know since using their services and everyone has nothing but good things to say about them. read more

Where to start?! Wolfy's team of guys were the best. They came highly recommended by my agent Debby Beck. My wife and I were completely impressed with how smooth the process was! The communication was great - being a curious guy I was asking a lot of questions and they were super helpful in explaining the process and how things looked under my old roof. They took their time and made last minute changes as we changed our mind on the roof color at the very last minute. I got up on a ladder today to look for myself and everything is perfect. The flashing and vents were all painted to match the roof - all the details taken care of. I would highly recommend Wolfy's roofing to my friends and family. A+ read more

After hearing them on the Radio, " I am so calling Wolf's" I had called them, and didn't get any answer, so I called again and left a message with a 3rd party, and never got a call back, so I tried to call them directly today and did not get answer "again". someone should tell that guy on the radio that he will have to "SO call Wolf's" over and over and over! Poor customer service at the start. I called Wolfy's Roofing to get a bid on a roof for a rental property. The person answering the phone answers "Hello". Thinking I reached a wrong number, I paused then said, "Hello, I was trying to reach Wolfy's Roofing". The person says, "This is Wolfy's". After waiting for a "How can I help you?" which I never got, I asked if they can give me a bid. The person got my information and asked me for my name. Thinking that management might want to be aware of the poor phone etiquette, I asked for this person's name. The person said this is Wolfy. So much for advising management. Wolfy said they would be at the property the following Monday at 9am but they were a no show. I guess they didn't want my business but it is just as well, I won't be calling them again. read more

Wolfy's Roofing did a superior job re-roofing my house. The job involved building a framework to lift and support an atrium that sits on top of the roof on three sides, it makes for a complete glass-enclosed​​ room over a patio. It has been there for more than 30 years​ and before I originally purchased the house. It is an​ engineering​ challenge to lift the atrium, remove old shingles and lay down the new rook, all without cracking any glass panes or tweaking the atrium aluminum frame. Wolfy's did an excellent job and I would highly​ recommend​ them. They even came back out for a full day, at no additional charge, to adjust things where the atrium seated on the new roof. Team Wolfy did an amazing job on my roof under some very difficult circumstances. He also finished the job before the timeline that was given. I did not have to close my business at any time during the course of replacing my roof because Wolfy and his crew worked around my schedule to allow me to keep my employees working and to serve my guest. 2 years ago, Wolfy's put a rather complex roof on my home. The work was done in a timely manner, and after only 1 call minor patch up, looks and works well. He was paid in full, no BS on the day the job was completed ($5K). Fast forward to this year: I called , and spoke with Wolf on numerous occasions, at least 6 times, asking him to to some additional work installing a sky light. He told me that they do this kind of work. Each time he said that he would get back to me, or that his associate would contact me. After 9 weeks of me calling him, and either accepting his apologies, or leaving messages, it might be time to give up and find someone else. read more

Good luck with this bunch. Doesn't answer phones, says if you have an emergency call this number and then no one returns calls, doesn't follow up on bids, etc. Must be a part time small operation . Very disappointing to try and give business to locals and have this poor customer service. read more

They recently put on some new gutters on my place. They aren't exactly the chattiest guys in the world, but they do get it done in a timely manner. I haven't had to hear any more drips on the concrete outside, or worry about the storm drains backing up again. Everything's holding up well, so a good job by these guys. read more

John from Wolfy's Sunrise Roofing recently rechaulked the gutter junctions on our home. John called me back within 24 hours of my initial inquiry to Wolfy's. He was able to schedule and complete the work within about a week. He is a working supervisor of his team which I find important. His bid was competitive with two others that I received. John professionally explained the work before he began and gave me a thorough assessment of my gutters when he finished. He and has team were able to complete my large job in a long day for them, which impressed me. A day after he completed his work, we had a light but enough rain to test the junctions and none of them leaked. I would recommend John and Wolfy's as a result of this experience with them. read more

Had an issue with poor construction that led to a roof leak into an exterior stucco wall. First guy quoted me $1850 and he missed the real cause of the leak, so I called this company. The guy came out that afternoon and took all of about 5 minutes to diagnose the problem, telling me he couldn't see the work costing more than $600. We got the estimate for the job, at $925. And the estimate is just that, an ESTIMATE. Since we were in dire need of the repair, we agreed to the estimate and sent it back. (Note, no where on the emailed estimate did it state it was a contract). After several days, we hadn't heard anything so I called the business to confirm they received the fax. I was told someone would return my call. They never did. I called a couple days later and spoke to the owner who said someone would be out in a day or two. Good thing I was on my days off and didn't have to work. Who can plan on "in a day or two"? So two guys fixed the issue in only 2 hours. We are very pleased with the work done but the issue we have is with their lack of customer service. I received a call from the business stating the job was complete and to pay $925. I explained I found it hard to believe that 2 guys working for 2 hours and materials for a 5x5 area would cost that much. I asked for a detailed invoice but never got one. Couple weeks later I got a call asking to settle the bill. I again explained my issue with the invoice and the gal on the phone became rude and said the job was done and I had to pay. I asked exactly what the costs where and she stated there was labor (no hourly rate provided), drive time to and from the job (never explained or mentioned in the estimate). At this point I figured she wouldn't help me so I asked for a detailed invoice to be mailed to me, and asked for the owner to call me. About 5 minutes later the owner, Wolfy, called. I explained to him I thought $925 was a little high for the work done and asked for details on exactly what the bill entailed. He went into the same speech as the gal I just spoke to, adding workers comp costs, gas, drive time from the "yard" to my house and back even though the two guys said they were going straight over to another house in my neighborhood less than a quarter mile away, driving out Monterey County into Santa Cruz County to get materials (really? there's no place in Monterey County that sells roofing supplies?). None of which was detailed in the ESTIMATE or verbally conveyed to me. He then said I signed a contract and have to pay what was on the contract. I explained to him we signed an ESTIMATE agreeing to the ESTIMATE and no where on the ESTIMATE did it state it was a contract. This just pissed the guy off, started interrupting me saying "what's the issue, we fixed the problem." I again tried to explain none of the costs he was talking about were stated on the estimate and he might want to detail those costs in the future. His indignant response was, "No I don't. I don't have to." You're right, you don't have to, but people want to know what they are paying for. I wasn't getting anywhere so I asked (again) for a detailed invoice listing all costs. I never stated I wasn't gong to pay, just wanted to see what I was paying for since their employee originally said $600 and the work ended up being more than that. When you go to a restaurant to eat, do you check the receipt to make sure you weren't charged for something you didn't order or overcharged, or do you just pay the bill without looking at it? Flakey and unreliable as far as returning calls and absolute shitty customer service over the phone. Two stars for fixing the issue in a timely manner. Will not be using them again or recommending to anyone else. read more
