First time I came here (many years ago) was to get my windows tinted. I had this crappy tint (tint was about 20yrs old) on one of my cars I'd just bought. With patience and professionalism, they were able to remove the tint and install new tint in which still looks like new to this date. They informed me how to keep my tint looking good as well. I needed to get my amp and my Subs reconnected in my car. My battery cable was corroded and so I went down to monster car audio. The owner help me out directly and was so nice. He got me set up with a new cable, fuse, connector to the battery, and even help me with the tools so I was able to complete it myself. He was busy at the moment taking care of other customers so I didn't mind doing it myself. I offer to pay him some money for the parts that he gave me, but he politely declined and said no problem and Merry Christmas! What a guy! If you want to mess up your car audio go ahead and let them do the installation for you. These people do not know what they're doing. When I got my car back the usb is only charging my phone and will not play a usb flash drive. The owner said because the usb on my aftermarket stereo is only capable of charging and playing an iphone using the charging cable and will not play a flash drive which isn't true because another shop was able to fix this issue and my usb now plays a flash drive. Second, they forced me to buy a backup camera saying that my factory camera won't work with the aftermarket stereo. I just found out from the guy that fixed my usb that a factory camera will work if you only know how to rewire it to the aftermarket one. I asked him how much will he charge me if I wanted to replace my factory speakers and he quoted me $700 for just the 4 6.5 speakers that I have. He doesn't even know what brand of speakers he will put in. The other shop was able to do it for $435 including installation. I should have gone to them the first time and had my deck installed there too. So again if you want to spend more money and have your system messed up you can go ahead and go to this morons. For me, never again. read more

I would probably give more stars, but unfortunately they scratch my window while tinting my windows. I told them and they denied it, they said that the window came like that. I took my brand new 2015 honda civic, after talking we agreed that they will replace the window. They replaced it in a week and Rene retint the new window plus redo a small window. For sure I am glad they replace it but they could be more careful while working in someone else's car. About the price, it was a good price not going to lie thats why they are getting 3 stars. read more

I want to let it be known that Monster was the cheapest in town. They did my tint and soon after that, I used them to install my stereo system which was not a easy job. There was other shops that wanted to charge 700.00 just to install my equipment. I could not believe they were all charging over 100 an hour. Monster beat all prices without even knowing what their competitors were charging. They also take there time and do it right. Back up camera, works perfect. Everything works Awesome. Glad I spent the 340.00. My roommate also got a stereo put in very cheap including harness and all for one cheap price. He had a problem with one piece, they had him bring it in so they could fix. Spoke with Rene nice guy very accommodating over the phone, and explained to me the brand and the cost to install my car alarm system. I waited while they were installing the system. To make sure alarm system works I ask to demonstrate. The only thing it's a brand new white car found some black smear stain, hard to wipe off. you will not find a car stereo shop with better prices in the south bay, seriously! i went in for a simple tint removal process and ended up leaving with a new viper car alarm system in addition to having my tint removed. all for $280.00! i recently purchased a used vehicle with bubbly tint. in order to have it removed i searched craigslist and called about 10 shops for quotes on tint removal. the cheapest quote i found was $150. the quotes were so high that i purchased a steamer from amazon with the intention of removing the tint myself. by accident i found this shop and they quoted me $70 over the phone. once i got there they said, they'll do the job for $60. not only did they charge 1/3 the price of every single place i called, they removed the back window tint without damaging the rear window defroster grid (those little brown lines on the back window). out of curiosity i asked if they could fix the rear passenger side power door lock because it made a loud screeching sound when i pressed the door lock button. rene the owner, told me i needed a new motor and said it would cost about $30 to fix including labor. while they worked on the tint i asked about car alarms and he told me about the different kinds and their prices. after showing interest in the viper alarm, the most expensive one ($300 for the alarm and installation), he said he was willing to remove the tint, sell me the viper car alarm, install it, and fix the broken passenger door lock motor all for only $280! if you do the math renee was saving me nearly $200. i was a bit skeptical because i don't know much about car alarms or the price of installation. i verified his prices by using my phone to compare how much the viper alarm is online, i called several other shops (bust buy was one of the places i called), and i walked two doors down to another car stereo place for quotes and each quote (for the same alarm) was almost double what rene was charging me. not to mention rene's price included the viper alarm, installation, fixing my door lock (with a new motor), and removing my bubbly tint. after doing a bit of research online and calling different shops it was clear renee's prices were not only legit, but much better than i could have hoped for. also, they do amazing work. rene has been in the business for over 25 years. he started working on car stereos at the age of 15. they are quick, they do quality work, and renee really knows his stuff. because he's so knowledgable his prices are competitive and beyond fair. i highly recommend monster car stereo! ...and if you present their business card at the time of purchase you'll receive an additional $10 off. how can you not love this place? read more

Went to get a Car alarm and when they finished installing it, and I was ready to leave as I turn on my lights the whole cluster board (lights) was out. When I went to confront them about it the claimed it was like that already. But everything was working fine ! I had hard time finding place to choose from to put my tvs and my windows as well and my system , I was highly recommend to come to this shop . I drove by and it is lil place I came in and everyone was really nice and asked What I needed to today and I explained that the car was my baby and that I wanted to do tvs the whole system and navigation. He gave me price that was unbelievable . And he took the time to show me what he was going to how he going to do it . How long it was going to take. Basically broke down every detail which was nice . Then gave me time to be back. I left there feeling safe and that I wasn't rip off . The knowledge that he gave and they way he explained it was amazing. And got the car back my baby looked so good and then he explained EVERY DETAIL HOW EVERYTHING WORKED Was so great .
