Great restaurant, food, service, and atmosphere! Just had dinner there tonight--with some very picky friends--and we all had a great time. The menu has a lot of great choices, and our food was excellent. Excellent service: sufficiently attentive but not at all intrusive. Overall, this is the best restaurant we've found in the past several years along the Rt. 25 corridor, and we've tried them all! We had a great time and will definitely be back. read more

Went up to Monroe over the weekend and a friend recommended we go to Social on Saturday. Was very surprised and happy that they have happy hour from 4-7 on Saturdays. The menu is small but incredible food selections. Matt the bartender was a gem. Great conversation and went above and beyond to cater to our needs. He was very knowledgeable about the area and recommended that we go and check out the brewery veracious that they had on draft. Awesome beer selection and friendly environment. Will be back for happy hour on Saturdays. Great little spot! read more

Just went to this hidden gem last night. I was looking for a new spot and found this place on Yelp. I wasn't sure what to expect, but it was a terrific meal at reasonable prices and the service was top notch. My daughter and I had the tuna and the shrimp with scallops, which I asked to modify with all shrimp and both were excellent. I also ordered a Cocktail that was delicious with fresh ingredients. If you haven't made it to this restaurant yet, I would definitely check it out. I think it's not known because the location is easy to over look. It's right across from the clock tower in Monroe in a small strip of stores. The decor is really cute too. read more

An overall gem. The house salad, sore! Their Lamb/beef burger, just amazing... and if you love truffled fries... you thought you died and went to heaven!!! ... and if you like mussels, make a dinner out of it! read more

Love what they have done with the space. Open and friendly. Food is great. Loved the sliders and meatballs. House wine is $4 during happy hour. Great arugula salad with lemony dressing. Second time here and will make it a regular place for us. Try it. Very friendly staff, especially Catalina. read more

An all around great place to dine out. Extensive menu selection. Warm ambience. Professional and courteous.

Wonderful!!!!! Host/waiter was super helpful! Appetizers were delicious.... The house burger was good, will definitely go back to try more of their apps and cocktails! read more

I have been here twice already for brunch and I love it! The interior is beautiful and modern. I had the same waiter twice and each time I had him he was patient and very friendly to my friend and I. The food is delicious and the bottomless belinni's are really good. Definitely will come during happy hour or for dinner. I recommend this to anyone for breakfast, lunch and dinner! read more

Happened to pass by on Saturday at lunch time. Wife had the Social Omelette from the brunch menu. She loved it; I tried it and thought it was very good. I had the house burger which was flavorful. The fries were average. We also had a crab lobster ravioli appetizer which came with an excellent prosciutto cream sauce. The ravioli could have been stuffed a little more, but the flavor was very good. The Bloody Mary was a bit heavy on the pepper and worsteshire, but not a deal breaker for me. I wouldn't have minded a little lettuce and tomato on the burger. But despite the minor flaws, I still give it 5 stars because of the exceptional ambience and service. read more

Great staff and service, very friendly. Happy hour selection for both drinks and food is great, the prices are right and they continue to highlight new dishes frequently. Probably one of the best burgers I've had and a 7 day a week happy hour! read more

Don't waste your time or money! Me, my wife, and two young children sat down at 6:20p didn't get our appetizers and my sons food until 7:20p, then we got our entrées at 7:55. To make matters worse they gave me an extremely over cooked hamburger when I asked for a turkey burger and then they tried to argue with me that it was a turkey burger. Now we are going on almost two hours and I haven't gotten a meal, I became so irritated that I told them just to wrap up my wife's food and take the mystery meat off of my bill and bring me the check. I had to go to a diner to get myself a meal and when we got home and my wife went to eat her untouched burger they had wrapped up she realized it wasn't even her food they gave us, it was someone's half eaten salad. All the tables around us we equally mad and experiencing same issues. Save your time and money. read more

We were just passing through the town and it was very good! I enjoyed the tilapia and my husband enjoyed the burger! It was a cute little place! read more

Went on a Friday. Great happy hour. Delicious food, fantastic drink specials, great prices. Will frequent more often!

Food was good, not great. Mixed drinks from the bar were terrible. My husband said steak had nice seasoning. I had risotto with scallops. They were watery. His truffle mashed potatoes lacked any truffle oil. Beer menu ok but drinks were weak and uninspired. Service was fine. Pretty dead for a Friday. I wold not come back. read more

My wife and I just ate here and love it! The food was delicious and cooked just the way we asked. Our server Zach was friendly and attentive, and even though he had multiple tables, he never seemed to miss a beat. We will definitely be back in the near future! read more

Was there recently with 5 others. Appetizers were ok - menu somewhat limited. Fish and chips ok, lobster ravioli very tasty- but the most disappointing was the burger that I keep seeing rave reviews about. Must have been an off night. It was so dense that it was like eating a previously frozen patty. Not the hand packed consistency you would expect. The cheese sauce on the burger was a little velveta-y too. Despite this, I'm certain I will find myself back at some point and not willing to write off a new local business with great potential for one off night. I just hope it was an off night, as I truly hope they succeed in this location. read more

Went here in the early evening with my wife & infant, great food and service though some appetizers were a little pricey especially considering the amount of food provided, will definitely be coming back. read more

We went here for a girls night. The service was great, they were fantastic drinks offered, and the food was pretty good. I would return for sure!!! read more

Went on Friday night for happy hour. Kinda empty which makes me think they're, like to many other new businesses not going to make it. Food was good, but not great. bf had fish and chips that he said the fish tasted like it had been just defrosted before deep fried. I had the goat cheese and beet salad. Could have used some goat cheese....no salt or pepper on any of the tables, and the waiter made himself scarce after dropping the food off. The drinks were good $5 well until 7p. Not overly impressed. But I hope they make it... read more

Gave this restaurant a third try today. No one was there for lunch. It took over an hour to get served. The soup had a half inch of oil on top. They took it back and I think scraped it off and added water. Had no flavor other than the strong taste of too much dried oregano. Mainly a bunch of chopped carrots and a little chicken in water broth. Should have learned as last time chicken veg soup was full of bell pepper and it only tasted like cooked bell pepper. The meats our first two times were not cooked to the correct temperature (overcooked for everyone). And we ended up eating at different times watching one another. This time the meat was cooked fine but now was noticing (all of us) that the meat has strange texture like meatloaf. Greasy. Brownies tasted strong of vanilla like a box mix. The service is friendly - only good thing. read more

My husband and I went for an early dinner for the first time. It was cozy and quiet because we were there so early but I would love to go back later one night for food and drinks because it seems like it would be fun. The staff was awesome and perfectly attentive (not to much or too little). The figs and crab cake small plates were delicious. I have lobster ravioli which had a cream sauce with lots of cheese but I would have eaten the ravioli without any sauce at all. They were great. When my husband go the wrong entree (an understandable mistake babyback rib special instead of short ribs) they were very apologetic, the chef came out to apologize too. We were enjoying ourselves and in no rush to wait for the right meal to come out, but they offered us desert on the house and asked if we wanted to eat the Babyback ribs (the ones made by mistake) as well. Even if the food was meh (which it certainly was not... it was fantastic!) we would go back to eat here soon because of the awesome service. As it is, I can't wait for another excuse to go back for dinner soon. read more

interesting dichotomy of experiences. Despite being very busy we were seated within a few minutes. Band played a very nice selection of music and tried to balance their volume with the ambient dining noise. Staff was attentive to the volume. cocktail was great tasting but light on the alcohol and very nice selection of beers. It was a bit chilly as we were seated near the door and had to wear our coats throughout the meal. They have drapes hanging to block the wind from entering straight into the hostess area but they need to hang similar along the sides to block the cold breezes which flow over the entryway walls and into the dining rooms. Coconut shrimp was very good. Ordered a burger medium rare which arrived well done. Returned for med rare and that came back quickly. Previous experience was similar- great wait service, slow food arrival, acceptable food quality/taste. The music made the eve more enjoyable. The wait and dining room staff are very good. This place has a lot of potential and continues to improve. read more
