TL;DR Big O Tires Inexperienced mechanic falsely diagnosed…read moreissue requesting replacement of all 4 tires. Went to Discount tire who accurately found the issue and fixed for free. I first went to Big O Tires in Lakewood with one tire that was low, my sensor showed it to be front left. When examined by the tech, he appeared to take the tire pressure, then noticed a "nail" and attempted to see if air was leaking. The nail looked like just a piece of gravel. He was not confident with his diagnosis and thought my rim could've been cracked too but not sure. Said I needed to replace all four tires. I knew something wasn't right so I took my car to Discount Tire. Turns out the back left tire was the culprit, had a nail in it and my sensors for my left front/rear tires were swapped. They took me immediately, patched up the hole from the nail, and checked my other tires. All at no cost! I'd recommend the Discount tire in Arvada off of Wadsworth.

Well in less the 10 mins they were done charged me $181.00 Gave me an estimate to change a MAF valve ( maximum air flow ) of $641:46 to change a two screws and a clip valve right on top of the engine. What really disgusted with this place was they said they looked at all 4 CV axles but never told me that both front tires were so worn down on the inner part of the tires that metal band was sticking out. Fact is they never looked at the CV axles otherwise they'd of seen how bad these tires were. Tried to talk to the shop owner about it and get a refund , got nothing but bullshit from him . How many others have folks have they screwed over
