An honest tv repairman. After trouble shooting, Moni reported the set was working properly and needed no repairs. On another occasion he was able to repair, not replace, a circuitboard, saving $200. I'd use him again. read more

Moni greeted me with upmost professionalism and was able to take in my Samsung LCD to troubleshoot power on issues. Two days later he diagnosed and resolved issue with my consent and TV is as good as new again. The $49 fee is very acceptable and was used towards repair and labor costs. I highly recommend this business and hands down would go back in a heartbeat. read more

Called in the see what might be wrong with my tv and if should get a new tv or bring in current one for repair. The gentleman was very helpful. The diagnostic charge is veryy resonable $59 dollars I think and goes towards tv repair if you decide to get it . I would probabaly bring my tv in for repair once I figure if the led standby light is blinking all the time or some times as advised my gentlemen on phone . read more

We took our Panasonic VCR in to be looked at, and Moni's knew what needed to be fixed, and fixed it. The service charges were more than reasonable and the personalized service we received was very friendly. We were tremendously relieved when we saw that our VCR now works--just as good as new. Moni just repaired a powered JBL Loudspeaker for me at a fraction of the cost it would have taken me to replace it. Which made me very happy! He has helped me out several times with repair work on my different equipment. He is always fair with his prices and he cares about making his clients happy to do business with him. Thanks for your caring and excellent service. read more

HONEST HONEST HONEST!!!! He has fixed things for us in the past dozen years and they have performed perfect. This last time it broke again in 2 weeks and I figured we were S.O.L. Nope , Moni stood behind it and fixed it on his own dime. A stand-up guy, what a frigging rarity these days. Highly rated in my book. read more

After getting the run around from the Geek Squad, I read the reviews on Monie and decided to give him a call. My 5 year old 55" LED Samsung 3D TV was inoperable. Moni said to bring it in and he'll check it out. So glad I did. He was completely fair, honest and completed the repair quickly and correctly. Nice to know there are people out there like him who actually do what they say they are going to do. I highly recommend. read more

FINALLY found a great, honest electronics repair place like the "good old days" where personal customer service ruled! Phone Moni looking to replace a broken belt from my VCR. Not only did he have what I needed IN STOCK, he offered to replace it for me and charged me ONLY $5.00!!!!!!!! Unbelievable! read more

I've been going to Moni for over 12+ years. And every time I see him for something small like fixing a loose connection on a $600 premium subwoofer power panel today or repairing one of my televisions in years past he's always been fair and very customer friendly. I would and have recommend Moni to all my friends and family. read more

Great customer service and he's a great kind man! I would recommend his service to everyone who needs a good TV repair man!

Moni is great!! Called his store asking about his services, and I provided details regarding my broken tv. He came to diagnose my tv promptly when he said he would. He transported my 55" TV back to his shop, and quoted me 4-5 days turnaround time, and a ballpark estimate. He called me on the 2nd day, and told me that not only was it repaired, but the final bill was lower than quoted. And then he delivered it!!!! Great customer service and he saved me a few thousand dollars from having to buy a new tv!!! read more

Moni is a gem! I was going to buy a used TV online, so I called and asked Moni about it. His advice was invaluable. I would always use him as he is a great resource to the community. read more

Been going to this guy for 20 years. The only other place like this is in Thousand Oaks and only used him once. Moni's place is always full of equipment coming and tagged for pickup and he has more business each year. You don't stay in business this long unless you can deliver good service. With the disposable mentality as the norm in our consumer driven economy, it's good to see someone still can repair my electronics. read more

Today I called to see about an in home visit. Instead, Moni asked the problem and walked me through how to fix it in two phone calls. It was a simple remote programming issue, but many companies would have made it seem more complicated and arranged an in-home visit. Hats off to great service from a local company! read more

Fixed my tube amp even though it's not his specialty he took the time to help me. Thank you so much Moni! Listening to my stereo for the first time in years! read more

This is without question the best experience I've ever had with customer service in many, many years! I had a problem with my beloved 20+ year old Infinity RS 12 Subwoofer. I searched for a local electronics repair facility and came across Moni's. I read all 22 Yelp reviews and couldn't believe they were all 5 stars with such positive comments. I called and spoke directly with Moni (he is the owner and works alone). I explained my problem and he said bring it in and I'll do my best to repair it. He was the kindest, most professional gentleman I've met in years. He helped me carry it out of the car and listened intently while I explained the symptoms of my issue. He told me on the phone that he charges $49.00 to diagnose but that would be applied toward any repairs which was more than fair. He said it may take two or three days and he would call with an estimate. He called me the very next day around Noon, said he had diagnosed the problem and it would require multiple new capacitors and would be $149.00 total. I was thrilled and authorized the repair on the spot and he told me it would be ready to pick up in 3 hours! I arrived at 3:30 that afternoon and it was all ready to go. He patiently answered all my questions and had already bagged up all the failed parts for me to keep. After I paid him, he helped me load it back in the car and it works flawlessly! I sincerely cannot express what a pleasure this master technician was to work with. He's been doing this for 35+ years and I'm confident there is no one anywhere that would be this knowledgeable, honest and kind. Don't waste your time anywhere else, I promise you will not be disappointed! read more

This type of business, in case you haven't noticed, is becoming a thing of the past because our disposable society encourages us to just go down to Fry's for a new TV even if something minor goes wrong like the volume button gets messed up or something. The good news is that not only is this one of that last few repair shops still in existence, it is also well-run, reasonably priced and there's really no better way to get extra long life from your electronic component or TV than bringing right here in Camarillo. read more

Called Moni's Electronics thinking I was for sure going to have to bring my tv in or buy a new one. I called because the speakers weren't working it sounded like robots underwater! When I called he told me to unplug my cable box from the tv and the wall for 5 minutes and it worked!!! I was soooo grateful that it worked! And I wasn't out a bunch of money! He's truly just wanting to help and not take your money! read more

Moni came to fix my TV back on 10 Oct 2016. I just came across the receipt and am very belatedly writing this review. Moni responded immediately to my call, picked up my TV and had it ready the very next day. His price was extremely reasonable considering he had to replace the power board. He is very professional and obviously knows this business extremely well. It's so good to know he is available and so quick to respond! I highly recommend Moni to anyone who needs their TV repaired. read more

Hey Monie I know fixing my Samsung receiver/ blu ray player has been a chore but I wanted to thank you for your hard work and not giving up on it. Hope to hear from you soon. read more

So happy to have found Moni. Because I didn't even realize he was in business at that location I suggested he should advertise in the local papers. Silly me. After looking at his reviews on Yelp, I should have known that an honest, respectful businessman like Moni, doesn't stay secret very long and really doesn't need to advertise. My repair was very minor, but you can bet after seeing how he treats customers and runs his business I will be back. I'm so excited. It's like when you find an honest mechanic. You feel like you've struck gold! read more

I went into Moni's to get an estimate on fixing a number of electronic components that I have which include: amplifiers, tape decks, receivers and tuners. Moni was friendly and engaging. Offered me a quote and said not only would he evaluate one component but a number of them I have for the SAME QUOTE!!! I've talked to him before a year ago but when it comes to fixing my electronics I want to make sure the person is qualified and is in it for the long run. Moni is still there fixing a number of items for his customers. I saw them all over the entrace to his shop. This guy is phenomenal. He will be moving in about six months but he will still be in Camarillo. IF you have an item that needs fixing, TAKE it to him to fix. You can't go wrong with this gentleman. read more

My 8 year old Sony TV had a burned out bulb. I called Moni, gave him the model number and he quoted me the price to replace it. He came over about 3 hours after the call and fixed it in 20 minutes. He even hooked up my VCR at no extra charge. His price is very fair and he is totally reliable and professional. He has had his business in Camarillo for 17 years so he really knows his stuff. Plus he is beyond pleasant and friendly. I would highly recommend him to anyone. Thank you for the excellent service! read more

I found Moni on Yelp. He is awesome! He came right over and replaced the part that he said was wrong. Two days later the TV went bad. He came back and found that the TV was shot and he was nice enough to refund back the price of the part. He was insistent and wouldn't take "no" for an answer. I will definitely take any business I need to Moni and will tell everyone how great he is every chance I get. read more

My 10 year old Akai plasma TV suddenly quit working. My kids cheered, thinking that I would replace it with something bigger/better/newer. My conscience wouldn't let me throw the thing away without at least trying to repair it. I googled Akai troubleshooting and learned that it was probably a board. Simple enough, but still outside my comfort level. I searched for TV repair, found Moni, read the reviews and gave him a call. He was straight with me, fixed my TV for less than half the cost of a budget replacement and was courteous throughout. What more could I ask for (besides someone to carry my half of this heavy beast out to the car?) Be aware that he accepts cash or check - not credit cards. Not a deal breaker for me but could be problematic for someone who's not prepared. I highly recommend for honest, fairly priced service. And I feel good about keeping stuff out of the landfill. read more

I recently moved and packed-up my vintage Sony 300 disc cd changer, not thinking to first remove the cd's. When I set up the audio equipment in the new home, I turned on the cd changer, but it jammed. I opened the cover and found the cd's strewn all over, some wedged together. I removed all the cd's and tried to operate the changer, but could not get it to work. Sony recommended I send the changer to New York for repair. Another repair shop said it wasn't worth repairing. Then I found Moni Electronics on Yelp and gave them a call. Moni said he would charge $45 for an estimate, which would be applied to the total cost if I had him repair it. So I dropped it off mid-morning. He called an hour or two later to say that a gear was broken and some belts were detached - the cost to repair would be $110. I told him to go ahead and he said I could pick it up after 3:00 that same day. I was elated! I picked it up at 3:00 and paid the balance due. It now works great! I am so glad I found Moni! read more
