I called ahead to try to name some of the girls that maybe available, and I got Alex C, or Alexandra. She was AMAZING! She was so super meticulous with the manicure I got, that it looked almost photo shopped. She had steady hands and worked quickly and cleanly. She didn't talk too much, but she really takes pride in her work. I didn't make it easy for her, especially since we had to remove the remaining SNS, but she didn't hurt me or cut my cuticles until I bled. Great success! If you're expecting to be pampered and fawned over, this isn't your place. If you're having a nails emergency and need a doctor, Freckle to the rescue!

I went in after seeing all the great reviews since I was in the area and the receptionist told me it would be a 1/2 hour wait for a mani pedi. No problem. Because it's small and they seem to have a loyal customer following I had no problem waiting a bit instead of trying a few of the nearby places. I loved the huge variety of colors and brands, and especially that they carry Zoya polishes which are some of my favorites (they tend to apply very well and last), but you don't see them in salons very often. I got a really thorough but efficient basic mani-pedi. I was amazed at how quickly she worked and both my fingers and toes looked gorgeous after. Especially since my fingers had a pastel pistachio color that can sometimes apply streakily in the wrong hands. But nope, I got a flawless application. I stayed a bit longer to do an extra drying cycle because I didn't want to mess up the beautiful work I just had done. I'm giving it 3 stars because after only two days both the polish on my fingers and toes started chipping within 2 days. For fingers it's not that unexpected, even though I wasn't very active during that time. I was really surprised the toenail polish began chipping, since I've had good pedis that last 10-14 days unblemished and even longer and I thought the one I got at Freckle would be in the longer-lasting category. If I'm in the neighborhood I might try Freckle again because I walked out feeling great and my nails did look incredible from the start. It was just really disappointing that it lasted barely 48 hours.

I got them in September, now it's March, and they look great! I came in with the request to have very feathery realistic, not-makeup style brows like the girls on Love Island lol all those perfectly spaced individual hairs -- not as bushy as Huda's, but more like Sierra's. The delulu is not my fault, though. I didn't know what magic was or was not possible with aesthetics.... Katie was very honest about what approach would work with my skin and quantity/placement of eyebrow hair -- a combination of powder brows with nano hairs was better for me. The first time, it didn't take. She did it all over again with a different needle. Katie said I have thicker skin (hmph who knew) plus at the tail of my brow is very thick -- acne scarring perhaps? Aside from my Love Island eyebrow fantasy, more important was what I wanted to avoid: harsh, boxy, brows that I would look harsh when barefaced. Katie came up with a plan that was best for me, taking my preferences into consideration, rather than satisfying exactly what I wanted, which would have become muddy down the road. And she explained everything to make sure I was comfortable. So yes, I do highly recommend brows with Katie, especially if you are highly sensitive. The office is clean, she is gentle and precise, she gives you 100% of her attention, and she plays relaxing music.

A few tips for 1st timers: - know your goals and have some shape ideas in mind -they will be super dark for a few days, and you may feel self-conscious, plan accordingly, and have a few favorite hats handy -remember you cannot get them wet for ten days minimum (including showers, sweating, etc.) -they will take a full month to heal -this means they will feel like a sunburn, peel, shed, and look lighter than before at one point for a few days to a week -keep this all in mind if you have dates, special events, and more happening during the time frame

I think her name was Laura? She was very nice and the vibe was chill. She walked me through the whole thing and was very patient. She wanted to go darker but I asked if it can stay more natural which felt better for me. I was about to go on vacation so I didn't want to risk it, but I probably could have gone a shade or two darker. It lasted about 3-4 days before it started to fade. I liked the experience but I'm not sure if this expense is a regular occurrence for me. I definitely want to try the lamination next, but not sure when. It's also a bit out of the way for me.
