Twice in one day I witnessed two separate staff members go out of their way to help people in ways not required or expected of them. In the afternoon, one of the staff very subtly and respectfully gave a homeless woman who was clearly having a difficult time a pastry and a drink and later that same day, another staff member helped walk man in crutches up the street who wasn't even a customer. The entire staff here is kind, engaging and caring with all people regardless of their background.

What was frustrating was that the tables we were told were needed for upcoming reservations were still empty when we left again empty seats no sales I'm a restaurant general manager in Santa Monica and have spent more than 20 years in hospitality. I look at every seat as an opportunity to generate revenue, but more importantly, every guest is an opportunity to make someone feel welcomed and appreciated.
