Before the cleaning, the unit was pretty dusty, and there were stains in the toilet and kitchen that I had personally tried to remove for months. I tried a lot of things but just couldn't get those annoying stains off. A few days before my move-out, I decided to call MasterCare and schedule their cleaning service. The service was excellent. They sent a 2-person cleaning team, and the total cleaning took about 4 hours. They magically cleaned the stains that I couldn't manage to remove after months of effort (seriously, I don't know how they did it lol) They cleaned inside the windows, oven, closets, floors, ceilings, and even areas like behind the refrigerator. Everything was cleaned very thoroughly. After they finished, they asked me to check the unit to make sure everything looked good. When I checked, the floor was clean like a mirror(literally reflective lmao see photo I attached) (no exaggeration). The communication with the cleaning team was also very smooth. They were friendly, professional, and did an excellent job, honestly better than I expected. Given the quality of work they did, I think the price is very reasonable. (Some random and weird thoughts: I'm a CS student doing research in AI and robotics, and watching them clean actually made me think that it would be pretty hard to design a robot or RL algorithm that could match their level of cleaning expertise lol +1 point to the human team) After the cleaning, my property managers inspected the unit and said it looked great, so it seems like I'll be getting my full deposit back, which I'm very happy about. Their attention to detail (of the littlest things) were impressive. There is always a moldy space water collects behind the sink. As to be expected in such a situation, the house had collected a fine layer of dust, the frisge had an interesting musk eminating from it, and the bathrooms were starting to grow a fine strain of mildew. While researching a cleaning company in Goleta/Santa Barbara, Master Clean USA was always at the top of any list I found. I had no one I could ask for a referral, so I used other internet reviews to decide on a cleaner. When I called, Brandee was AMAZING in her assistance and helpfulness in scheduling a time for the cleaning. She was understanding with my short timeframe and was able to accomidate our needs. When the 3 ladies showed up on the cleaning date, they arrived in a clean car and were dressed for the job. THey were very professional and asked if there was anything specific that I wanted them to focus on. I mentioned the fridge and bathrooms and they said 'NO PROBLEM!'. When I returned to the home later that day, I found it in a completely different state than when I had left it. The floors were pristine, the walls and surfaces were dust free, the fridge had no trace of the smell, and the bathrooms were spotless. I cannot say enough of how I appreciated my experience with Master Clean USA. I will for sure be referring others to their service in the future.

They assured me that their lack of response was due to management being away and sick for sometime. Understandable, and now the assistant knows they can handle instances like this on their own if management is not available. Bit of trust restored and mistakes happen. Original post: I hired Master Clean USA for a move-out cleaning to save time, reduce stress, and hopefully help secure my deposit back. The place was already pretty clean and while they did a good job on the bathroom, the rest of the house was poor and felt rushed and incomplete. The areas under, behind, and on top of the stove and refrigerator were left untouched, even though I specifically requested those spots to the cleaners on site and the rep on the phone, I was assured they'd be cleaned and that they were covered areas in the cleaning I purchased. In addition the windows were only half done, with dirt left in the inner frames, and the baseboards--especially in corners and high-traffic areas--were poorly cleaned with easily visible dust and dirt still left behind. The cleaners finished in less time than estimated, left early, and I was still charged at the higher end of the quoted range. When I came back to tip them for their work I saw this and unfortunately had to buy my own cleaning supplies afterward and re-clean these areas myself. I also documented everything with photos. What made the situation so much worse was the lack of follow-up from the company. Despite contacting Master Clean three separate times and being promised a call back from management to resolve it, I never received one call. At this point 3.5 weeks after, I can't recommend their work.
