I was so hesitant to have my hair done by Monica. I haven't had great luck with getting a good blowout in Houston, but she came highly recommended by my sister's stylist who had done my hair so awesomely. So, I went. Wow. I was NOT disappointed. Monica is an amazing stylist. It's not easy for me to use those words, I don't meet many of her caliber so I was so happy to have been referred to her. She uses a product line that I wasn't familiar with, L'Oreal Professional (not to be confused with L'Oreal Paris AT ALL) so I was also hesitant about this. Not to worry, it was SO good for my crazy hair! I also did a conditioning treatment from the same brand and it made my hair just so soft. I'm super happy I did that. I highly recommend doing it! Monica is so patient and so sweet. I could have driven her crazy with trying to tell her what I need, but she just listened and then gave me EXACTLY what I was looking for. This girl is a hidden gem! My sister has been getting her hair cut with Monica for several years now and I finally made an appointment with her for a hair cut and Brazilian Blowout Treatment (she convinced me after explaining the process and answering ALL of my questions). I was totally blown away ;-) She did exactly what I wanted (I usually have to convince stylists to thin my hair out some more) and the treatment was exactly what I needed for my hair. I've been back to get a trim and am still extremely happy with Monica's work. I'm trying to let my hair grow out so I won't be back for a while. I do want to pop in and get some color on my hair (it's been years since I chopped off all the color and let my hair grow out).
