6 month update: my hair is still ruined and the short layers are now only to my chin all the way around my head. I will be paying for my mistake of going here for at least another year. AVOID AT ALL COSTS!! I debated posting this or not, but I wouldn't want anyone else to walk out of a salon looking like I did. PLEASE BE CAUTIOUS WITH THE STYLIST THAT YOU CHOOSE! Starting with the good things: The staff was very nice and they did include gratuity in the price (which didn't say upon booking) I came for a routine haircut and asked her to shape up my curtain bangs. Instead I left with a chunk missing from the back of my hair and half of my hair in extremely short bangs. I also have "steps" instead of layers. The blow out was also very poor. When I left initially I didn't see the damage that was done, and there was no effort to show me the back but I didn't think too much about it. It was only when I got home and looked at it properly in the mirror and desperately tried to restyle my bangs. I went in for a consultation, and without saying a lot, Iris pretty much read my mind when suggesting what to do. The overall vibe of the salon is professional but very comforting. It was my first time at this salon, and it was great! The salon itself has plenty of parking, beautiful decor, and was very clean. Svetlana cut my hair and she was so kind. She listened to what I wanted, and when I wasn't sure she offered her input. Throughout the process, she made sure I was happy with the lengths of the cuts. I could tell she is very knowledgeable about hair and likes what she does. She also cared about the health of my hair, and recommended a treatment/product based on how my hair is... but all without pushing to sell. Overall great experience! Please stay away from this salon . Trust me , I have never seen such an incompetent hairstylists in my life .This review is honest and I am a real customer. I have visited the saloon on the may 22, at 2 pm . I had an appointment scheduled with Sarah. She had great reviews on Google ,so I trusted her and was hoping for great results. Both salon and her had great reviews , I was super excited. Sarah was very nice and listed to what I wanted as far as my hair needs. I wanted brighter look and seamless blending of highlights and cooler tone of roots . My hair already had highlights so it was already blonde. Long story short , I don't think she knew what she was doing as she colored my hair 4 times total that day. My hair looked horrible it was multi colored . It looked green , brown , grey , yellow , orange and super over processed. My scalp started burning and it burned for 2 days after the appointment. Sarah asked for help from owner as she had no clue how to achieve a certain color and owner came over couple times to help but didn't seam to care much . Then the owner offered to correct color another day but honestly I was very upset and didn't trust anyone in that saloon . Next day my hair looked even worse it was a rainbow color . I couldn't believe , I was crying and was embarrassed I had hair looking like that . The appointment took 4.5 hours and $255. It was a horrible experience. I have a short , fine hair . If anyone cares about their hair please stay away from this place . Incompetent, greedy, careless hairdressers that's all I found there . I went there next day to see if the owner was there to fix my hair but she wasn't working that day and I was told Sarah no longer works there anymore either. I followed the gps to get here since I'm not from the area and it was confusing, it took me to the wrong suite. I wanted a small trim to get rid of dead ends. When I first walked in the atmosphere was very friendly. I was attended very fast considering I got there early. The lady who did my hair was nice and talking to me, however I did not want to talk much. She trimmed my hair which was good and I also asked her for a waves/curls however they were very messy. I thought she would straighten my hair to get it less frizzy but no she started the curls right away and I had a lot of fly always and the curls were not that great.
