This is a good place to eat quite a bit on a budget. The price is right for unlimited trips. Food options were limited but that makes sense in a smaller town and during the week. We pulled up at 6:20pm and there were no other cars in the parking lot or on the street so we were a little worried to try this place out. We had to find a wait person to help answer questions on how many trips etc as nothing was explained when we sat down. We also ordered the crab Rangoon and it was "ok". Make sure to use quite a bit of sauces to add flavor to your meal. Just a handful of poured "scoops" is not enough. read more

Incredibly yummy food and quick service. Tip: you can take more than one bowl of food to be cooked. So if you like lots of noodles or veggies, grab an extra bowl and load it up. I tried their signature sauce recipe and it was so tasty. If you've never eaten at a Mongolian style bbq/grill/buffet - you choose what meats, noodles and veggies you want (laid out buffet style) and then you add your sauces to the bowl. Once you've created your desired combinations, you put your container in line to be cooked on the enormous, screaming hot, flat top grill. Once food is thoroughly mixed and cooked, it is put on a plate and you take it back to your table to devour. It's a fun time and typically a great option for larger parties, as all meals are personally customized. Note: most sauces are thinned out and the scoops are small. Use more than you think you need bc the water will cook out on the grill. read more

As far as a Mongolian grill style restaurant in Norfolk this place is pretty good. You choose a protein,Beef, Pork or Chicken ( no crab for lunch) and add noodles or rice and vegetables and sauce of your liking. They then stir-fry it for you. Decent customization and your meal is as good as you make it with the options provided. That's what this place has to offer, extra charge for Egg-rolls or Crab rangoon's. There is no hot bar anymore so the buffet is all they have to offer. This place has excellent staff and is worth trying at least once. Tip- Use 2 bowls, One for protein & sauce and the other for noodles/Rice & vegetables. Use lots of sauce. read more

My wife and I sort of randomly discovered that this place exists (we're relatively new in town) when looking for a place to eat, downtown--and we're so glad we did! The food was really great, the server efficient, friendly, and attentive, and the price very reasonable (lunch for two, including an appetizer, for $35). This restaurant has been operating out of the former Club Hollywood since 2018. If you've ever experienced a HuHot or other Mongolian Grill, you probably get the picture. The grill cook is a very entertaining guy and there is a fair variety of meats, noodles, vegetables and sauces for a plate, though a vegetarian plate I put together didn't have the vegetables fully cooked. In addition to the Mongolian grill, there is also a Chinese buffet (with perfectly average Chinese dishes, nothing standing out too much), a salad/dessert bar, and an American comfort food buffet, with chicken, ribs, mashed potatoes, and previously-canned vegetable. On the whole, this place is an okay experience if you just stick to the Mongolian Grill. The broasted chicken is okay, but the barbecue dishes are covered with that disgustingly sweet lunchroom barbecue sauce. The main dining area is okay, but the right-hand side is in dire need of re-decorating and refurbishing. Give it a try if you're curious. read more

Mongolian Grill was definitely above par. It was busy but the wait wasn't bad at all. The friendliest staff I have ever come across in a buffet. Even my 2nd grader mentioned that . Will definitely be back with the whole family. Prices are also very reasonable. read more

I used to love going to Sioux City to Hu-Hot. We tried the Mongolian Grill here and found that it is better. The meat is cut by them, not shipped from a warehouse and they make the sauces in house. They have more flavor in my opinion. The place is WAY cleaner that Hu-Hot and the staff and owners are amazing. We eat there probably 4-6 times a month if not more. We were in Sioux city shopping and decided to try Hu-hot again and were very disappointed. Not putting Hu-Hot down , just that it was a let down since we were used to here. read more
