Aroma Circuit was delightful. The downtown location was well situated for people watching and we enjoyed the eclectic atmosphere. Food was tremendous - we had folks who had never eaten Indian cuisine and others who eat it frequently in larger cities and everyone gave two thumbs up. Gluten free was clearly marked and they were informed about what was in their food. Service was a bit slow for the number of customers, but food and atmosphere made up for it and we weren't in a hurry. Highly recommend! read more

I ordered veg vindaloo which was good but I don't realize it had peas in it, which I'm not a fan of, so I won't order that again. It has been fun to come here and try different things. Ive eaten here a couple times. I wont be back. This last visit the food was definitely not good. I ordered the Malai Kebab. It wasnt marinated as I Could tell Just salt and pepper. Just six pieces of grilled chicken on a skewer for $20. My roti was like hardtack on a civil war naval ship. The Naan had no flavor but was at least pliable. One of the few places in Norfolk Nebraska worth eating in, my last visit was less than stellar. While the food was good the service really isn't getting better. I ordered a meal which came with naan. My table was charged for extra naan and we NEVER received the extra naan. I asked for cream for my ginger chai tea and told there was already milk in the tea.....um okay. Then I was told I'd be given warm milk for my tea....never received that but some did come by and put cold milk in my tea.... Wow..... read more

Obviously not expecting 5 start treatment at a bar, but I've been to better dive bars with cheaper drinks this is more of a lounge so I expected a little more, but the atmosphere was very hot, and was given a sloppy vodka Redbull with very cheap vodka for the price, didn't finish my drink. Oh my! Lots of authentic dishes from India here! We had chicken korma with rice in an onion sauce and cashew paste, pakora (a crispy fritter with chick pea flour and chicken, aloo paratha (potato stuffed oven fried bread with yogurt dip), a house salad with chopped lettuce, cucumber, and carrots with house dressing, and gulab jamun (fried condensed milk donuts in rose syrup) Everything was so tasty, including the rum and mango drink called Dreams of Goa. We are not very familiar with Indian cuisine, and truly enjoyed these dishes. We were driving through Norfolk for work and stayed overnight nearby this restaurant. We were looking for something different than the average restaurant after traveling for a few days and decided to drive this place based on the reviews. I do have to say, showing up to the restaurant, located in a hotel and the actual restaurant ambience is a bit odd, but I'm glad I didn't back out because of that. The food was amazing and we were very happy. We decided to eat here. We got to meet the owner who was super nice and would highly recommend. If this restaurant was in a different location, there be no question about how great it is. I hope the owner gets an opportunity to move from the hotel into more of a retail space but if you are looking for authentic Indian food, I would highly recommend checking this out. read more

Highly recommended! I am so glad that Aroma Circuit came it Norfolk. My wife and I are Indian Food snobs (Just FYI--she worked in Indian and very much approves of AC food) and we really enjoy the food we get from this place each time. The service can be slow (new business growing pains) but they are always friendly and very willing to answer questions about the food and accommodate your requests. This is actually a wonderful addition to the less-than-exciting food scene in Norfolk. I imagine the residents here haven't had much exposure to Indian food but we are LUCKY to have an authentic, delicious, and friendly Indian food experience here in town. Just go now. I had the pleasure of going here for lunch and thoroughly enjoyed the experience. As Norfolk's newest restaurant, I was excited to try some authentic indian. It did not disappoint. I ordered the mulligatawny soup, garlic naan, and chicken vindaloo. I requested the latter to be spicy! The dishes were very aromatic and generously spiced. The staff was very nice and checked on me as needed. Now, if you've never had indian food, I would definitely recommend this establishment and starting off with naan and mild to moderate heat. This is not where I would have expected to find a really great Indian restaurant. It's in part because of that that I wanted to be sure to give it the great review it deserves. We were passing through Norfolk, NE, looking for something especially good, and certainly didn't expect to find a place like this inside a hotel. The food was excellent, really delicious, and the service was really wonderful. (Our server Tony was awesome!) They have a normal dining area but we preferred the cool lounge area that includes a bar and pool table. They also had several really good vegan options on the menu, and a really nice selection overall including common and uncommon dishes. We thoroughly enjoyed everything we had and had a great time too. So the great food, service, and environment all came together to make a great experience for us. We definitely found that it has really good reviews for a reason, and wanted to add to it. So I say definitely check it out! read more

What a great find. This is the only Indian place in a hundred miles, and it's a total gem. We had no idea what anything on the menu was and picked stuff at random, everything was fantastic. Who would've thought I would find home cooked Indian food in Norfolk, Nebraska of all places. Ordered the following: Two samosas. The were cooked and flavored perfectly. The tamarind sauce was spot on and the green chutney was bright green and fresh. Really complicated each other so well. Two garlic naans. Soft flakey and plenty of garlic to satisfy your garlicky taste buds. One order of Channa Masala. I ordered the spicy version and it was just the right amount of spice for me. This honestly tasted just like how my aunt made it. Every bite scooped up with the garlic naan piece was deeeeelish. I wanted to come back for dinner the same day (lol) but was too stuffed from lunch. Just a heads up up- when gps-ing to the location, the restaurant is located inside the Comfort Inn Hotel. Service was just ok but it seems like this might have been the kids first job..but he's working so you can't complain about that right now when so many people are free loading off the government. Anyways, i had the butter chicken and naan and it was good. My friend had the lunch buffet that was good except the chicken wings. I laughed that an Indian joint had hot wings but he got them anyways. They were raw inside! Not just a little under cooked but straight up raw. The food is fantastic. Great Indian if you like Indian; if you don't, this place won't change your mind. Every time I've been there it's been almost completely empty. I'm hoping they're able to drum up more business as I want them around for a long time. It's also super awkward when it's 12pm sharp and it's a ghost town. Not a good experience in any way on Saturday, August 19th at about 5pm in 2023. My doubts started with the location in the Norfolk Country Inn & Suites. It is a very rundown and barely maintained looking motel that seems to be more of a low cost residential business (based on the stuff on the balconies the foot traffic) than a budget travel motel. You have to go through the lobby of this inn to enter the lounge style dining room. Once in the restaurant, the feel is very much lounge bar and not Indian restaurant. The service was slow and inexperienced despite there being no other customers. I had to ask for clean silverware- never a good sign. The food was not good and some was quite bad. The spice was bland and the food seemed like heated up prepackaged food and sauces. We usually enjoy eating out at Indian cuisine restaurants and always have certain dishes as well as trying something new. So for the price, nothing measured up in our opinion. this restaurant was SOO GOOD! i've had many indian places, especially in omaha, so i sorta had low expectations for this one in norfolk. but to my surprise, it was so yummy. i had the chicken tiki masala with garlic naan bread, and it was the best. y'all gotta mix the two together, you won't regret it. plus the service was quick and good. the guy who served us was super kind and helped us figure out what's best for appetizers and what not. the restaurant inside was super cool as well, loved the music and the lighting. 10/10 for me read more

I have eaten Indian cuisine in Lincoln, Sioux City, and Southern England, and by far this is some of the best. The mango lassi, although a bit too pronounced on the yoghurt, is very refreshing. The tandoor chicken is brought out sizzling hot on a grill plate, and is absolutely delicious, perfect if you want something lighter on the spice. My only criticism is the fairly limited menu, but considering this place must reside in the global desert of Norfolk and the former dump that was known as Bailey's, it is nonetheless a great place if you want to try out some East Indian flavors. read more
