And that roadblock was an insurance issue. Many lenders are not approving loans for condos in Hawaii if the building is underinsured. Some lenders are refusing loans unless the building has 100% replacement cost coverage.  I found Infinite Financial online. It caught my attention after reading several reviews about the company. Maintaining a perfect score of 5 since 2019 intrigued and motivated me to dig deeper into Infinite Financial. The owner of the company is Duncan Hsia. After I read his impressive resume, a graduate of University of Pennsylvania and attended Wharton College (Wow!), I knew he would be able to help us. And he did! When loan officers told me that no lending company would approve our loan due to the insurance requirement, Duncan came to the rescue. With his expertise and knowledge, we were able to purchase our dream condo. If you're looking for a knowledgeable, trustworthy, and supportive mortgage broker, look no more, Duncan is the one! Kudos to Duncan and his team.

This is the second time I have used Duncan and he will be my first call if I need to refinance this home or purchase another one. Mahalo, Nic

Gene and Brandon were both quick to respond and always available to answer questions. We set up a time to go over a list of items and they were prepared. Both communicated with me on what the plan was, emailed me as promised, gave me options for dates/times and was more than flexible when I needed to make last minute changes based on my schedule. I needed them to work on my forms ASAP and they did not disappoint. They got it done faster than I expected and explained it all to me in easy to understand terms. Overall, my experience AWM was impressive. They far exceeded my expectations in response time, finishing up loose ends, keeping me on task without being pushy and charged a fair price for the work done. They were so helpful and knowledgeable in answering any questions I had. If anyone is in need of getting your taxes done quickly, accurately, efficiently, and at the right price, give these guys a call. You won't be disappointed. I learned my lesson to let these experts do their thing. It is well worth the price (and it's not expensive) and peace of mind to let these professionals help you. I know they will be getting my business next tax season. I already feel at ease knowing they will be there to help me, whereas in the past, it would be so stressful for me. I can't thank them enough for helping me out of a jam.

They are nice people and were really helpful with filing this year as well as previous years outstanding taxes. Unfortunately 6 months later it's still not complete and I am trying to finalize payment plans on my own. I tried to contact Gene multiple times with either no response or no follow through, so I ultimately ended my business with them. He did apologize and offered to finish the job after I ended our business, but it's been dragging on and weighing on me for over 6 months and a new tax season is coming up again in only 2 months and it's just not worth the headache anymore. I would not recommend hiring Agape Wealth Management unless you have easy simple taxes that don't need any communication or follow up from them.

We didn't have money to invest while we were working, but figured we both had pensions, an annuity and a 403b so hopefully we were okay. We sat down with a few financial advisors throughout the years, but never felt the connection with them or the fees to hire a financial advisor was out of our reach. Some financial advisors told us we didn't have enough monies to retire until age 67. Well last year on the recommendation of a work friend, I convinced my husband to attend a free retirement seminar EA Buck had in the Kapolei area. Hesitantly, my husband agreed saying he would accompany me, but going to classes was not his thing. To my surprise he enjoyed the seminar, participated in the Q&A's, felt the speaker was knowledgeable and said, let's sit down with one of their advisors and see what they say. A few weeks later were set to meet with Justin Hodges of the Kapolei office. That day changed our lives. Justin reviewed our portfolio, listened to what we had to say, entertained our ideas of wanting to retire early and actually said it was possible. What??? Really!!! Retirement in Las Vegas at the age of 55 and 57 was possible and a good idea? No negative response like that's a bad idea, or you don't have enough monies? How much is it going to cost us to work with you Justin? ...Nothing up front, you make money off of our investments? You can also manage everything remotely even when we move to Vegas? This is too good to be true!!! We now meet with Justin often. I bother him all the time by email or text. I ask him the same question all the time. We've become good friends. Justin is awesome! Easy to talk to, funny, knowledgeable in the tax and retirement rules and laws and he's smart. We're fortunate to have met him, we have full trust in his strategies and abilities. We recommend EA Buck and especially Justin Hodges to all our friends and family. Young and old it's never too early to work with EA Buck to set your retirement foundation. Wish we meet Justin sooner.

Being that I live literally walking distance, my son and I decided to go into the bank to make change. The front door is locked due to obvious reasons. It's a sketchy area with numerous homelessness. However, upon waking in with no greetings, I was asked what service I was needing. I simply explained that I just needed to make change. The teller asked if I had an account. I answered no. He then says he will need to ask if it would be ok. So my son and I waited. He comes back and says that because we don't have an account and the bank "doesn't have enough cash" he is unable to break my $20. Now, I've worked as a teller as a first time job out of high school & I know that's a bunch of bull. Thank goodness there was a kind enough customer waiting along with us and offered to break my $20. The thought of even opening an account with this institute after this experience would be a joke! Just because it's a sketchy area, doesn't mean EVERYONE is sketchy that walks into your branch.
