I just moved next to this place and it's quickly becoming one of my favorite places to go. Great food, quick and friendly service and a ton of choices.

Fish Tacos

Excellent fish tacos, delicious carnitas burrito! Super friendly staff, and outdoor seating. Definitely a place to come back to.

Food truck (not the nicest looking) parked in a shell gas station parking lot. Do not let that deceive you. They make good tacos. They give good portions and they are tasty. I had the pollo, adobada, carnitas, cabeza y lengua. My preference to order from here will be in this order: lengua, cabeza y pollo. But to each their own. They speak English and Spanish and are friendly. Their green salsa is better than their red. The red is thicker and has a little kick. Thought I'd warn you faint of heart ppl haha. Tacos are $2 and up. They also make burritos and full plate entrees. Enjoy.

Great tacos for a good price, super quick and served hot so it doesn't need reheating at home.

Mexican Seoul - Bibimbowl w asada

I ordered two sides and a rice bowl with carne asada with a Korean twist, and after tip it was $35 and change. I'm so pleased with the easy ordering at Project 9 Brewing. They have tablets to order from, QR codes, and of course you can order straight from the food truck. I really liked how the tablets also offered common modifications, so the egg on mine was easy to order fully cooked through. I didn't love how buttery the caramelized kimchi was. It completely takes away from the flavor, so all I really could taste was butter. Kimchi aside, there are so many generous toppings and it really compliments the salty meat and seasoned rice. They also have a big condiment tray so you can even top your food with extra pickled veggies, sauces, and the like. My kids devoured the rice. Their packaging is fully compostable or recyclable. Wonderful addition to a fun, family friendly brewery!

Toss in some kimchi, rice, and cheese and you got yourself a fantastic meal. I was blown away by the sauce bar. They have your classic green and red salsas, but then they have an ultra spicy mayo sauce that is meant to be smothered on a burrito. The pickled cabbage is a must-add to your meal, and there are also these tiny little diced up caramelized onions that are PACKED with flavor. And they're giving those thangs out FOR FREE! I feel like I could create an entree just with items from the sauce bar. The symbiotic relationship between food truck and brewery has to be an ideal pairing, otherwise it just won't work. Mexican Seoul and Project Nine are meant for each other. But I wouldn't be surprised if this little food truck emerges from its cocoon to become a full fledged butterfly eventually. More people need to know about this gem.

My favorite to ask for is the adobada burrito and you can ask for grilled pineapples added to it. Also tried the Gallos rojos and it's decent! They have a large selection of salsas, and I think the best are the verde and habanero. One downside though is that wait times can be long if you go on a busy evening since they are short staffed. The best thing to do is order ahead online, but even if you do that sometimes you will have to wait once you get there depending on how busy it is. There's also a decent space for seating with heat warmers if you go during the winter.

This place was recommended to me by a friend! I wanted something small just to try something here,…read moreso I went with two tacos. I ordered the fish and steak tacos, and they are all right. The fish was a bit rubbery tasting, but the flavor was there! I think the texture threw me off a bit. The steak was definitely better than the fish taco, but it wasn't the best taco I've had. They were super generous with the steak so that was great! If you were craving tacos and needed your fix, this would get the job done. It was just okay. I would try this place again eventually, but maybe something else on the menu. Though I will say the staff was exceptional. Super friendly people. This is a food truck so there is only so much you can do to help the ambiance of the area, haha. They had a nice lighted seating area that was honestly really cute.

All the staff were pretty chill and nice. Love all their smiles. I got my favorite, Beef Stew. I ordered this often in Lynnwood site, especially when I was sick. Regarless, it's on different location, the taste is the same! So, I'm happy about it. The vibe is completely different than Lynnwood one. This restaurant is darker and guests are way louder. Mostly, university students, I think. I like dim light atmosphere, unfortunately, I can't enjoy it much here. Too loud? Too dark? Or it's just not the right light bulbs, it got me dizzy. It was at night, it made the room even gloomy. Upon returning to the parking lot, the atmosphere is somewhat unsettling. This is particularly true for a woman walking alone. To access the parking lot, I had to walk through the darkness to the back of the building. Unfortunately, due to the narrow parking lot, one car was parked in a manner that blocked the exit way, requiring me to reverse all the way out. Overall fantastic staff, fantastic food, but I may not comeback because the vibe just doesn't suit me. This restaurant will most likely be very busy in the better location and fresh look.

We've been going to Phinney station since it opened and have always had a great time. Today was an…read moreunfortunate outlier. One of the employees approached us on the upstairs balcony to explain that we were being given a strike under the "one strike policy" due to our kids' misbehavior and lack of supervision. I could see all of our kids from where I was standing, and none of them were misbehaving. I asked her to tell me what specifically had happened and which kids were involved, but she was unable or unwilling to answer either question. The only time they had been out of our direct control was when I sent the 10 year old boys down to the counter to break a larger bill so they could share the change and play pinball, which is normal parenting behavior for kids of this age to foster independence (see the book The Anxious Generation by Jonathan Haidt). They had returned without incident and were appropriately playing the machines with a dad from our group in the corner of the room. After the employee left, I asked around to see if anyone else knew what had happened. A person at the table next to ours told me that there were other kids (unknown to us) who had been acting "rambunctiously," and that they had just left with their parents. An older boy in our group also said that my autistic daughter had a rock in her shoe, and that he had helped her take them off to clear it. She was scolded by one of the other employees for taking her shoes off, which scared her (so scared that she continued talking about it until bedtime). Unable to find out what terrible things our kids had done, and also learning about the insensitivity displayed toward my neurodivergent daughter, I went downstairs to complain about what clearly seemed to be a misdirected reprimand. I didn't use profanity, but my tone definitely reflected defensiveness. There was still no clarification as to what had happened or who was involved. The employee's entire focus seemed to be on the tone I was using, but with no understanding of why someone in my situation might be understandably upset. I have no idea what version of this story made it back to her manager, but it was definitely not a complete retelling. The next time I tried to place an order, the manager informed me that my service had been discontinued. I tried to explain my side of the story, but she was unwilling to hear it. While I do applaud her readiness to support her employee, this was clearly a moment to collect more information rather than pass quick judgment on a long time customer. I would also note that I was not kicked out and remained on the premises for another 30 minutes while everyone else finished up. I mention this only to illustrate that nothing I said was actually threatening or otherwise qualifying as misconduct. I understand and respect the kid policy at Phinney Station, and I am always ready to police my kids when they're not in compliance. But threatening to kick families out without knowing what happened or whether you're even accusing the right people is sloppy and inappropriate. And expecting parents to not be offended by that kind of treatment is absurd. I apologized to the employee for my part, but no one on staff was willing to apologize or appreciate their role in this totally unnecessary event. I would discourage parents, particularly of neurodivergent kids who may not always be immediately understood, from patronizing this establishment. There are plenty of other great options on Greenwood Ave that take empathy, inclusion, and customer feedback far more seriously.

Highly recommend!

got the #3 sampler here, which included 1 quesabirria taco, 1 regular birria taco, and 1 mulita…read more This was my first time trying birria tacos, so I was pretty excited to try these out I thought these were pretty fantastic Out of the three, I thought the weakest one was the regular birria one. This one was pretty much just a regular soft taco with beef inside. I wasn't a huge fan of the taco shell, as it was a little soft. In terms of the filling, I did really like the amount of beef in there, but I thought it was kind of dry and chewy. The beef being like this was something I noticed in all 3 tacos - but it was the most noticeable in this one I really liked the quesabirria taco - that extra layer of cheese did so much for the flavor. For one, it provided another layer between the taco shell and the cheese, and second, the cheese itself was really good and there was a lot of it. Because of this, the beef inside just tasted better than the regular birria - and the shell on the outside didn't feel as soft as the first one. My favorite of the three was the mulita, which came as two small tortillas with the filling inside. the reason I liked this the most was because it was the crispiest of the three - there were actual crunchy parts to this tortilla that weren't there in the other ones. This one also had cheese like the birria, but due to the slight advantage in crunchiness it's my favorite Of course, what really brings this entire meal together is the consommé. This is just absolutely fantastic - and is the best part of the meal by far. The broth is salty, flavorful, and just adds so much to everything it coats. When dipping one of the tacos in it, I would let the consommé wash over the beef that remains, essentially liquidifying it, and this made the beef so much juicier and changed it from dry to flowing with the juices of the broth. It's hard to describe how much this enhanced the two tacos and the mulita. There's also a pretty generous amount of it Another thing I have to mention is the spicy salsa - which was incredibly flavorful. really loved that The only thing I would really say as a negative (other than the beef that I mentioned before) is that these tacos/mulita really aren't crunchy at all. I wish the tortillas would've been fried more to really get that crispiness that I prefer in tacos - an oil coating on the outside would've also helped. I also usually don't mention this in my reviews, but the person at the front desk was amazing! For the price of about 15 dollars, I would say this is relatively decent - however, while the portion size looks big, it's not really that filling
