Came back with my friend to try the fried version of their lamb momos & the newest vegetarian…read moreflavor (forgot the name but it has cabbage, mushrooms, paneer, and spices). Lamb momos were a 10/10, although I still prefer them steamed. Veg feature momos had great texture but my friend and I found them to be very strong in cumin flavor without really tasting like anything else. Dousing it in hot sauce and soy sauce helped but it would've been nice if it had more of its own flavor. 6/10, probably wouldn't order again but they got me pretty full considering its fiber content. Lamb still remains my favorite, my friend who tried these for the first time also seemed to agree. They were perfectly spiced & very juicy. Mango lassi is still mandatory! They get busy SO quickly and their small team of 2-3 employees do such an amazing job at delegating and getting everyone's food out at a reasonable time. Today we saw an even more diverse demographic so Loga's is THE spot for authentic nepalese momos!

I'm sorry but the hype of this place fell short and it was disappointing…read more I got the chicken and beef momo with their chilli sauce. The momos steamed were spicy a little too spicy and a bit underwhelming. I think they could've named it better. Momo ghar was a lot better than this place. They do give a lot of momos so it is a bang for your buck wish they tasted as good as the look

Momo Ghar, the only restaurant I ate at twice during my Toronto vacation, it's that GOOD! Momos…read moreare my new favorite food! Momos are mainly Tibetan and Himalayan, they Asian dumplings that have been elevated and evolved into little balls of heavenly flavor. Two locations, both are small with limited seating so be prepared to wait during peak dinner hours. Friendly staff all around. $18 Tandoori Beef Momos were my favorite! Thickly wrapped in rich red spicy infused dough with juicy seasoned beef inside. It's spicy, and spectacular. $13 Deep Fried Beef Momo, same tasty beef inside, but wrapped in a crispy, thick dough deep friend for texture and extra tastiness. Not spicy. $18 Butter Chicken Momo, marries the momo dough and seasoned chicken with the rich, velvety comfort of buttery curry sauce. Not spicy $18 Chili Beef Momos Sweet chili sauce marinated into the dough for a delightful sweet and mildly spicy tingle. $13 Pan Fried Cabbage Momo...vibrant green, fun and filled with fresh crunchy cabbage Each order comes with 8 pieces, but they also offer a 12 piece platter with 4 different kinds of Momos for $23. Great stuff!

An absolute must try Momo place!…read more I made the drive from Oakville to Toronto specifically to try Momo Ghar, and I can confidently say the recommendation did not disappoint. From the moment we walked in, we loved the small cozy and incredible friendly vibe. But what truly made us fall in love without a doubt was the food. Every Momo dish offered a unique taste. My personal highlight was the tandoori Momo, it was perfectly spicy and bursting with flavours. Noodles and chilly chicken were also excellent, just make sure to make it spicy if you can handle the heat. Momo ghar has officially earned a permanent spot on my "must visit again" list. And seriously "DO NOT FORGET" to order their chocolate mousse and crème brûlée. You can thank me later.

Food 4/5 Service 4/5…read moreAmbiance 4/6 Food: We ordered the meat platter, salmon momo half plate, & sho-go momo. For dessert we had the deep fried banana. Everything was delicious & freshly made. We really liked the sho-go momo (potato & onion). The deep fried banana is good too. Not too much batter which I liked a lot. I would definitely eat here again. Service: It's a little slow because there are only two people running the restaurant when we visited. They both were doing the cooking & serving. Hubby & I didn't mind because we weren't in a hurry. I think they should have some waitstaff to help them out. Ambiance: It's a clean restaurant. There are prayer flags strung up from the ceiling. The music they play sounded like monks chanting. It's a very relaxed vibe. On a hot summer day it was nice, breezy & cool inside. It felt nice at first but I started getting cold after a while. Their bathrooms are in the basement & we're also clean. The ceilings are a little low in the basement so you have to watch your head. All in all it was an enjoyable lunch. My favourite was the sho-go momos (potato & onion).

Food: 3 Stars Service: 3.5 Stars…read moreAmbience: 3 Stars Fill Factor: Satisfied Each time I wander Greek town and see this place I promise that I would try it next time as I am a big fan of all sorts of dumplings. Well today I finally decided to make good on that promise and while I was not blown away it was a positive experience overall. The first thing I noticed about the menu was how many momo options were available. A lot of different choices from your basic chicken/beef/pork to butter chicken momos so lots of options. I ended up just getting a half plate of steamed pork momos along with the chilli chicken. The momos were pretty average in terms of taste even when I used the sauces provided. Perhaps the fried version would have been better but I definitely was underwhelmed with this one. As for the chilli chicken, the flavour was decent and for those who love saucy dishes like me this one is not saucy at all. I asked for a 5-6 on a scale of 10 for spiciness and it definitely had a bit of a kick but nothing too spicy. In terms of taste it was decent however I found the chicken to be a bit on the dry side but not too bad. The folks there were super friendly and overall service was not bad. The food arrived quickly too which was a good thing as I was hungry. There was plenty of seating in the restaurant and it was spaced out nicely so it was comfortable to be in. There were a lot of cabinets with different items in them so it might be interesting to look around while you wait for your food. Overall, I enjoyed the visit and will definitely come back to try other items on the menu.
