I wanted poach eggs, the dish came out with the fried eggs. Hash was dried, potatoes onions and peppers were lost on the plate. Order the flight, the server could not tell us the flavors were which, in which it did not matter, all of them taste the same cheap champagne with no flavor I don't know if the original menu is any better. Molly's opened a couple months ago, and we'd been meaning to check it out for awhile, but, winter.... We finally made it last week, and I'm glad we did. We sat at the bar, and we were just going to have a drink, but after chatting with the bartender and looking at the menu, we decided to stay for dinner. The bartender was a super nice guy, and even though the bartender was busy, he spent time talking to us. We decided to get a couple things and split them. I got the pulled pork sandwich, and my wife got the mushroom risotto, but when they came out, neither of us wanted to share because they were both really good. The pulled pork was cooked perfectly, and I liked that it wasn't soggy and over sauced, but had great flavor. And they did Cole slaw on it like a pulled pork sandwich should have. My wife loved the mushroom risotto, and it was enough that she took half of it home. And the prices were super reasonable. All the entrees were much less than I would have expected. Full disclosure: part of the reason that we wanted to try it is that Ben, the head chef, catered our wedding with his food truck, and it was amazing. The food was great, they were the nicest people to deal with, and they went out of their way to make sure we could accommodate everyone, so we knew Molly's would be good, and they didn't disappoint. Molly's opened in the December 2025 behind Lexie's in the former Diverge space in Downtown Dover. This restaurant and pub offers a casual atmosphere with a full service bar area (with TVs) with seating at the bar, table seating, high top table seating and an upper dining area with table seating. For food, they serve up a selection of appetizers, wings, loaded waffle fries, salads, soups, chowder, chili, sandwiches, tuscino sandwiches, mac & cheese, risotto dishes, steak frites, chicken tenders, baked haddock, braised short rib, and desserts. The bar offers 9-10 draft beers, can libations, wine, cocktails, mixed drinks and non-alcoholic options. This Molly's in Dover is not connected with other similar named establishments in NH such at Molly's Tavern & Restaurant (New Boston) and Molly's Restaurant & Bar (Hanover), both more than an hour drive away. I stopped by Molly's in Dover for dinner recently on grand opening weekend. I opted to sit at a small high top table in the bar area which had great views of the TVs. I was given a menu to look at. My server Molly (lol) took my drink order as I decided on food. I placed my order for 2 starters and an entree. The Chips & Salsa ($3 plus tax) had crunchy corn tortilla chips with lightly seasoned salt and a house salsa (pureed tomato salsa), enough for a group. The French Onion Soup ($7 plus tax) served in a crock, had a dense mix of caramelized onions & herbs in a hearty beef stock (onions less broth) topped with a melted cheesy (gruyere) garlic toast. Both starters were great. For an entree, the Italian Deli Tuscino ($16 plus tax) was a baked folded flatbread (pizza dough) sandwich stuffed with salami, melted mozzarella cheese, prosciutto, capicola, pepperoncinis, lettuce, tomatoes & pickled red onions served with crunchy warm homemade chips. The sandwich was very hot to the touch and a bit messy to eat. The warm potato chips were perfect and not overly seasoned. I requested a box for half of the entree so I could order dessert. For dessert, the Cookie Skillet ($9 plus tax) took a bit to come out freshly made and hot out of the oven, served in a very hot 9" iron skillet, which had a fresh baked soft chocolate chip cookie topped with a scoop of hard vanilla ice cream and lots of chocolate sauce. This dessert could easily be shared with 2-3 people, but I finished this decadent dessert by myself. The check with Toast QR code was dropped off, which was $37.98 with tax and before tip. I was able to pay on my phone and head out as the place was getting busy. Overall, tasty food, good portions & prices, and service was attentive. I was checked on during the meal by the server and manager and ice water was refilled. I would definitely come back here possibly to catch a game on the TVs and for more tasty eats. read more

Nice spot in the old row downtown, feels like what Dover was missing. We had a chance to talk with the owner and she was very nice and told us about the space and made a great drink. The food was very good and the portions were big enough that we are bringing half home. Will return. read more

I never like to leave poor reviews but my last experience here was pretty poor. We went for wing night-- great price and big wings, however, the wings themselevs were very tough and undercooked. The buffalo sauce is.. strange? Probably home made, but not great. We order the chips and house salsa for a small bite and what came out should literally never be called "salsa". Shredded tomatoes and onions in a bowl. Nothing else. No salt no pepper no lime no garlic no jalepeno no cilantro. Nothing. That literally baffled me. only 3$ but come on. I have a photo but can't post Here. Mac and cheese was hot and creamy but didnt taste like cheese. Bascially tasted like butter. Topped with ritz crackers and butter. Better/more cheese required. We may check it out again but not super likely. Sorry to say and dont like to be a hater. Maybe someone will see this and address some of the issues. read more

Heard good things and came here for a quick lunch bite. I really cool little bar and a nice vibe that I imagine would be cool after dark. Everyone who works there was so welcoming and really attentive and into what they do, and that came across in the food. I had the loaded cheeseburger fries which were great, I especially appreciated the scratch made cheese sauce which was as very addicting. My friend got the little Mediterranean picky plate, fantastic as well. Really looking forward to coming and having a full dinner here. read more

I want to start off by saying our waitress was wonderful and the resturant was very clean. I really had high hopes for this place since my daughter has to eat gluten free food but we ended up being pretty bummed. The onion rings were not good and they were bland... it was basically onions with some chunks of dough thrown on top - not your typical circular breaded onion rings. The buffalo brussels were really good though. However, my chicken Caesar tucsino thing was bland and it's just a weird idea to be honest.. not what I was expecting. Our kids chicken tenders were really hard to cut and while they looked cooked, they were cool to the touch inside. Almost like they were pre cooked, frozen and then flash fried and sent out. My waffle fries were also basically chips - they were so hard... My husband also said his hot honey chicken sandwhich was bland and it had no taste of hot honey. I think this is a newer restaurant so maybe they are just working out the kinks because the menu items sound great - the actual way it was seasoned & cooked was not. read more
