We worked…read moreclosely with her for almost 8 months leading up to my wedding, including multiple meetings, site visits, mock-ups, and detailed conversations about exactly what I wanted. Throughout the planning process, I was repeatedly reassured that the decor would look like the inspiration photos I provided. Nikki would tell me that she understood my vision and that it would be executed accordingly. Once the wedding came and I expressed that I was unhappy with how things turned out, her response completely changed and I was told that inspiration photos are "just inspiration" and that it was never going to look exactly like them. That was extremely frustrating considering the expectations that had been set for months beforehand. There were also several issues during the actual events. First when I entered the hall the stage wasn't even complete I had to call Nikki to come back and fiThe stage broke during my wedding, and the chairs provided were extremely poor quality to the point that multiple guests fell out of them. On one of my two event days, the decor was also not completed on time. After spending months planning every detail and trusting someone with such important events, these are not things you expect to be dealing with on your wedding day. I also found the way things were handled afterward to be extremely unprofessional. I specifically told Nikki that I did not want my wedding or event posted on social media. She still posted a video and then proceeded to block me on Instagram. She also made negative comments and started unnecessary rumors involving me and my wedding coordinator, who I absolutely loved working with and never had any issues with. My husband and my in-laws were also brought into situations and conversations that were completely unnecessary. I found this incredibly inappropriate and unprofessional, especially from someone we had trusted and worked so closely with for months. I put a lot of trust into Nikki and NC Event Designs for one of the most important times in my life, and unfortunately the experience was nothing like what I expected after 8 months of planning. I felt that a lot was promised throughout the process, but when it came time to deliver, the expectations that had been set were suddenly changed. Your wedding day is something you cannot get back or redo, which is why this experience was so upsetting for me. , I would never recommend NC Event Designs.

She provided the venue and organized our dinner event. I cannot describe how wonderful the foods were - all of the dishes - every ingredient - so good, and as we learned from Scott, the chef, also good for us. The whole experience was completely different from a regular restaurant experience, and I just can't tell you how wonderful it all was. I felt like we were all rock stars or something. The day of the grad party, Erika and her assist, Suzy, arrived on time and ready to set up. We had ordered: entrance signage and balloons out front of the venue, five balloon bunches as table toppers, a large gold ring w/ balloons and a cream lounge chair, I even ordered tablecloths for the dining tables from Erika. The balloon gold ring back drop (for the photo ops) was SO adorable, everyone loved it. The table balloon bunches were perfect on the dining tables and the ribbons too, on the bunches were beautiful, many strings of ribbon and bows. The team was incredibly kind, supportive, responsive, and never once made me feel judged with my ideas. They guided us through everything and made the process so much easier. if you want food truck or other vendor snack they will let you do that as well. On the big day, it was truly magical. Wedgewood made my dream wedding come true. The food was amazing! So fresh and delicious. All our guests raved about the buffet, especially the six salad varieties and vegetarian-friendly options. Honestly, everything it was even better than what we tried at their tasting events. I'm actually giving 4.5 stars because of 4 things: first, the included florist, Wild Flowers Design Group, was unprofessional repeatedly canceling appointments, ignoring communication, and causing unnecessary stress. We had to scramble to find a new florist just 4 months before the wedding. If they're still a vendor option, avoid them. Second, a small hiccup with setup on the wedding day: I wanted to take ballroom photos before the reception, but setup wasn't completed until later into cocktail hour. I had even offered to help the day before during rehearsal to avoid this delay. By cocktail hour, it should only be the repurposed ceremony flowers and dessert that needed set up, but the other setup wasn't fully done. an example my groom helped my coordinator put together my 3 tier plates during cocktail hours which could have been done before the wedding. another example some of my detail shots, like the party favors at the candelabra table, were missing. Thankfully, the table with the gold compote floral arrangement was fully captured in the photos (see the pictures of the two table setups below). My photographer didn't know what my tables should have looked like, so they just took pictures thinking everything was set up. I really wish Wedgewood had set up the ballroom earlier. Third, the photobooth stop printing and i honestly thought someone will run the photobooth but no one was there but i might of misunderstood. But Averi was super nice was able to print everything a couple days later and shipped them to my house within 7 days after my wedding. Fourth, The Sterling Hotel (NOT WEDGEWOOD but is connected to Wedgewood) was a huge disappointment. Our Grand Suite didn't even lock properly, the door will open with a little push, and my groomsmen were locked out of their room in the middle of the night with no one available to help for hours. They eventually had to get someone to respond to a text to let them in. I'd recommend finding another nearby hotel if you're booking rooms for your wedding party or guests. Despite these small issues, I highly recommend Wedgewood. The venue, the team, and the experience were all incredible, and my wedding was a dream come true.
