Nothing else was as described on the menu. This was a $82 bill. We love a good bill! If it's worth it! Not worth the money AT ALL. We tipped our server well because the food prep and service has nothing to do with her. She was so sweet and kind. Whoever makes this food needs to be fired or needs to actually focus on making each dish editable and tasty for the customer. So disappointed as my husband and I had planned for this to be our valentines date for over 3 months now. I told my husband that I actually hope that the regular chef who normally works was maybe just ill and the person who was working was just filling in because IT WAS SOOO SO BAD. If I could leave a 1/2 star I would . This was my families first time at this restaurant. The waitress took our drink order , then we waited and waited .. the waitress took 4 people's order that came in after we did. One couple that came in after us got their food and was completely finished before we even got our food. The waitress asked my son if he wanted soup or salad, after we received the check there was an up charge for the soup . When we asked the waitress about it she became very defensive and rude . We told her that we did not want to pay the $20 gratuity that was added due to the fact that we had to wait so long and we're skipped over multiple times , she became very snarky and rude when we were trying to tell her how we felt. Our daughter has just moved to White House, and we gave this place a try while we're moving her to town. What a fabulous find! We started out with an order of garlic knots, and they were so tender and perfect that our table of four ended up asking for a second order. The caprese salad was out of this world good - the balsamic was some of the best I've had. I had the three cheese ziti, and my husband had the shrimp fra diavalo. Both were served in generous portions, and both were flavorful. For dessert, we all got cannolis. We're counting down to our next visit so that we can go back and try other menu items. read more

I tried this place for the first time, and the food was overpriced since it was lacking actual flavor. We ordered the spicy crab dip as an appetizer. We expected it to be warm, but it was served chilled and didn't taste like crab at all nor was it spicy. It tasted like canned shredded chicken and mayo to be honest. The crostini served with it was half stale so it was chewy instead of crispy. We ordered the Caesar and caprese salads. They were okay, as they're hard to get wrong. The Caesar dressing had no flavor and the caprese was drenched not drizzled with balsamic dressing. Our entrees were the spinach and chicken manicotti and the chicken parm. The manicotti had little if any Alfredo sauce or chicken and no flavor. We asked for a side of Alfredo, and when it arrived we tasted it and it was like water and had no flavor still. The chicken parm was a huge serving and smothered in cheese. Too bad the red sauce was like flavorless red water containing the largest chunks of onions. They brought out garlic bread, but it smelled of chemicals and tasted like frost bitten freezer bread. And surprise, bu flavor there either. We were so excited to check this place out so we brought our appetites, but there are much better Italian places, chain and authentic alike, around Nashville. We left and hit up the Wendy's drive thru because we couldn't eat it. read more

If this were the food a friend cooked for me? Then it would be okay. Restaurant quality? I don't think so. I came here following reviews but those reviews must be from family, friends, or others who loved it before they tried it. The quality of the food is nothing you can't make at home. I ordered the chicken parmesan and felt a little like Gordon Ramsey getting served joke food for a TV show. I got bland, unseasoned spaghetti noodles, topped with a bland, boring tomato sauce (come on, jarred is better...), very little cheese, and bare chicken that was likewise bland -- it wasn't even breaded! This was more of a your-friend-make-chicken-spaghetti-for-fun than it was a restaurant dish. I asked the manager about this in an honest and polite way (I promise, though you'll just have to take my word for it unfortunately), and she began to repeatedly tell me over and over that "this is the way the chef does it," which is fine, except that it really reminded me of that silly Ramsey show again. I truly think this restaurant would be a great candidate for that show -- weird chicken, unclean dishes, undercooked pizza, and all. This event happened in 2018 and I did give the restaurant a chance to impress me. I really, really hate writing bad reviews. I like to see the good in everything. And that's why I call this food-a-friend-made -- it's the best I can say. When I came back, I did not tell staff who I was (they did ask me to do this), and I was still served sub-par food. I sent back the pizza twice. From reviews I see here -- I am still doubtful about why people love this place -- it seems that sometimes the chef cares and sometimes she doesn't. I was looking forward to the dining experience at Molipazzo tonight; however, I am now leaving their restaurant still hungry and dissatisfied. My father, a frequent patron, suggested going for some Italian fare. Sitting at our corner booth turned out to be the highlight of the evening. We started with the garlic knots, which I was assured were a staple; however, they should have just been called "knots," because there was no garlic on them. The next course consisted of a tomato basil soup, which should have been relabeled as "chunky marinara sauce." The main courses were not much better. Our dinner party ordered chicken piccata, spaghetti and meatballs, and ravioli. The chicken piccata did not taste right; it had an unusually smoky flavor that almost tasted burnt. The ravioli, in an unusual artistic choice, was drenched in balsamic, making it very sweet and tart. The spaghetti and meatballs were flavorless and watery, with very little marinara sauce on the noodles. After asking for marinara sauce to cover the noodles, we ate what we could. We left the majority of our meals on our plates and asked for the check. Instead of asking whether something was wrong with our meals, the waitress asked if we wanted any boxes and promptly brought the check. While looking at the receipt, a member of our dinner party thought that we had been charged for the marinara sauce and went to the bartender to resolve the issue. The entire dining experience would have been excusable if not for the man behind the bar. He had been rude to the hostess that night and directed that attitude to the dinner party as well. Upon inspecting the check, he remarked that while we had not been charged for the marinara sauce, we should have been; although it had been for the sauceless spaghetti and meatballs, they "charge for everything" at Molipazzo, regardless of any mistakes. Because of the man behind the bar, we will not be returning to Molipazzo; they can continue to "charge for everything," but they won't be charging us. read more

This was our second time here. On the first visit we were extremely pleased with the food and service. We loved the pork shank which was what brought us back. We learned tonight that they have taken this item off the menu. We ended up ordering two surf and turf meals. Both were burned and appeared that the grill had never been cleaned and that the remnants from the grill were on our food. For our inconvenience they deducted $2.00 from our bill. They consistently choose to stop making orders at random times despite stating times they are open. If you're open until 8, that means you make food at 7:50. I've eaten here a few times before this and it's always been very good. Unfortunately, I cannot say that for this occasion. We ordered carry out and I ordered the spaghetti and meatballs with extra sauce. First, we didn't get any bread with our order, like we have every other time. Second, I like a lot of sauce on my spaghetti so I requested extra sauce, but my order looked like they literally poured a cup of water in the container to make it look like more sauce. There was sauce/red tomato flavored water almost all the way to the top of the container. I have never seen any spaghetti sauce that watery. I was very disappointed with my order. read more

My wife and I have been here twice and we liked it both times. Our first time, my wife ordered the baked lasagna and a house salad while I got the grilled shrimp Alfredo and a caprese salad. Our waitress had our food to us in about 25 minutes which gave me some time to go through the menus. I ordered a Hap and Harry's Tennessee Lager on draft, that instantly became my new favorite beer! (And now my local grocery store carries it in six packs!) I am not a beer or wine guy per say but I know what I like. I totally enjoyed my shrimp and Alfredo! This tasted very fresh with a lot of subtle flavors. I am not used to this level of freshness in what was surely not a real simple dish! I had never had a caprese salad till now...it just sounded good from the menu...really enjoyed it...wow yum...my wife liked it better than her house salad. My wife said that her lasagna was a bit dry but we remedied that with a side order of more marina. She still prefers another Italian restaraunt but not me. They have a good craft beer and wine assortment to choose from. ( I was not familiar with any on the list so I ordered the first "Lager" I saw. My husband and I had previous reservations out of town, but the week before Valentine's day, their kitchen caught fire. Not wanting to drive into Nashville, we called and made reservations here....best decision ever!!! This is a small place with the perfect atmosphere and music. The crab cake appetizer was fresh and meaty (just wish there had been 2), the grilled caesar salad was delightful, and the grilled lobster with lobster ravioli and alfredo sauce (YUM), has been on my mind since I ate it last night.
