This hidden gem never disappoints. They have a rotating menu along with Italian favorites like Three Cheese Baked Lasagna and Chicken Parmesan. The bar has a good selection of wines and there are daily cocktail specials. The Lemon Drop Martini is perfectly sweet and tart.

$13.20 liquor tax on $26 of booze??

Has something changed in the last year? The food used to be great and we were so excited to try some of their lobster specials, but it ended up being a huge disappointment. Pork Belly Appetizer: Three 3" slices of pork belly... and two of them were pure fat. I'm not joking, there was zero trace of meat - it was just fat. How someone could've cooked that and made the decision to still put it on a plate is beyond me. The sauce was also underwhelming, easily making this the worst pork belly I've had anywhere. Squid Ink Pasta w Lobster: $32 ... overcooked tough lobster, the pasta was either mushy or clumped together and lastly, the crispy prosciutto in this soggy mess gave off the feeling of shrimp shells. Texturally irritating. The Fra Diavolo sauce was actually great, but they need to pair it with a well-made, well-cooked pasta and maybe do shrimp instead. Although it took over an hour and half to get through dinner and the girl who brought the Lobster Mac pretty much tossed the dish onto our table, our server Briana herself was great. She did check up on us when she could and asked how the food was a couple different times. There was no point poopoo'ing on the food there, it's not like I want to have them remake a dish that took an hour in the first place... we just wanted to go home lol. So... what is good there? Cocktails and service. I did notice most other patrons were eating pizza, so maybe we should have too. I'd say avoid their more ambitious dishes, it's definitely not worth the Nashville prices. From previous trips, I'd also recommend the Chicken Parm. Lobster Mac was okay, but again- not worth the cost. To close out- although we did enjoy the cocktails, can someone explain how there is $13.20 liquor tax on the $26.00 of booze we got? Please educate me, because I am thoroughly confused!

Chicken pasta way overcooked to the point of being burnt.

This use to be a favorite place for us. Since the guy who use to manage left for Florida, the cooking has declined by a significant amount . Our previous meal was very dry, and the service was slow. We figured everybody has an off night so we gave it another try nothing has changed. Going to look for a new regular place,

    Three cheese baked ziti

Visited for a date night, and we would definitely go back! I got the three cheese baked ziti, and it was amazing! The service was also very attentive. I'd say this is a good choice for some quality Italian food!

    Mushroom ravioli was so good!!!!

Food was amazing and service was super nice and friendly. It's great all around. We definitely will be back more often.

We were placed in the lower-level dining area, which we didn't mind at all--it had a great atmosphere with a live band performing until 10 PM. Our server (I apologize for forgetting her name) was excellent--friendly, attentive, and very knowledgeable about the menu. For food, we ordered the seafood tower (The Big Eddie), crab fried rice, and Chilean sea bass. Everything was outstanding--fresh, flavorful, and well-prepared. For drinks, we had the Hope Diamond and a tequila soda. The Hope Diamond was especially good, and our server even shared the ingredients so we could recreate it at home. The ambiance is elegant with a lively energy, thanks to the live music. If you're looking for a quieter, more intimate experience, I'd recommend requesting upstairs seating. Be prepared to spend $$$, but overall, it's worth it for the experience.

As their name implies, their seafood is fantastic, probably the best in the entire city! They have a policy that every seafood served at Eddie V's was alive in the ocean less than 36 hours prior! Anything left over is donated, which is impressive! And you can taste its incredible freshness throughout the meal! There are only 30 locations of Eddie V's in 15 states, but the quality is hardly reminiscent of chain restaurant food. It's truly exquisite! And we have very high standard having dined at Michelin-starred eateries all over the world. The scallops, lobster, and lobster bisque are easily the best in Nashville, and we've dined at every high-class restaurant Music City has to offer! The butter poached lobster mashed potatoes are incredible, extra creamy topped with buttery lobster and a beurre blanc sauce. The truffle mac is equally stupendous, with a three-cheese blend, truffle oil, and thinly shaved truffles imported from France! While most upscale restaurants tend to make a very strong truffle mac that has overpowering flavors, the chef at Eddie V's manages to make this, and all dishes, subtle and flavorful without overdoing it. Just as amazing as the seafood are the steaks. Since they had a Japanese A5 Wagyu in the building at $40 an ounce, something they don't have every night, I took advantage of that! As expected, the highest grade of Japanese beef did not disappoint, and the chef prepared it to perfection. That impossibly tender steak seasoned beautifully just meted in my mouth, probably the second best steak I've eaten in Nashville! The ponzu sauce, one of three that accompanied the steak, was delicious. The Korean inspired gochujang was also good, but maybe not perfect for this style of steak. But the wasabi paste was the winner, a perfect compliment to the beef without being very spicy, just wonderfully flavorful. Like all dishes here, they've impeccably balanced flavor with subtly! The desserts aren't bad either, but they pale in comparison to the beef, seafood, and side dishes!

I especially love it when simplicity and genuine passion is served, not just presentation. Anyway, to start off - this market, and it's a market, not quite a restaurant. When my friend and I stopped in, there was one table, four chairs. Since we were there late, we were able to sit and dine in. Sitting and eating there allowed us to chat with Kojo - the owner. Learning not just about the market but his history and his passion for what he does. Switching gears again - the market is in a huge shopping plaza. Lots of parking. And free. As for the food - see the pics. Dinner pics is mixed in with what was left in the market. I can't even begin to explain how much I enjoyed the flavors of the dishes he made on the spot for us. As we were there late in the day, most of the popular dishes were sold out however, he made a few suggestions, even two that were off the menu and made it to order. When we were there, it was a one man operation. So he was also our host and server. If you couldn't tell - service was excellent. Chatting about food. About seafood. About the beginning of Gulf Port. And about life in general. This is one of those places, that if I lived there - I'd frequent the place just because of him. It's just too bad that me going there requires a plane ticket and a five or so hour flight. But, also know this - next time I fly into Nashville, I'll make my way to Hermitage and have more delicious, fresh seafood.

**April 2025: Saturday Evening Visit**…read more My friend and I wanted to eat somewhere in the Hermitage area since that's where we were staying and Gulf Port Seafood had really high ratings, which were 100% well deserved. I should preface this by saying that Gulf Port is a seafood market first and that they have one table (4 chairs) so you can dine-in - but space is limited. Kojo, the restaurant owner, has both raw and hot options for patrons to enjoy. We came pretty late on a Saturday so many of his popular items (gumbo and lobster roll) were sold out, but we decide to try his other offerings which were delicious. We ordered the 2 orders of Cajun Crawfish Roll (methinks $15?), Seafood Mac & Cheese (methinks $20?) and Shrimp and Grits ($20? maybe) and all were made to order and brought to our table in a timely manner. The Cajun Crawfish Rolls came out first (I guess one order is given two rolls) and we demolished it. The toasted bun had a nice char, but was fluffy on the inside and the cajun sauce gave the crawfish nice flavor. We devoured this and were really impressed with the item. Next the Seafood Mac and Cheese came our as well as the shrimp and grits. The Mac and Cheese had such a great blend of cheeses and the noodles were cooked al dente. The grits on the shrimp and grits were scrumptious - not mushy at all and the shrimp was cooked through. Everything tasted very comforting and the prices are very reasonable! Overall, this was definitely a highlight meal of my Southern States travels and the next time I'm back in Nashville I hope to try the gumbo and lobster roll!

Famous for not having a sign, finding it may be part of the adventure, but once you do, everything else is effortless. Parking is simple--just pull up and valet takes care of the rest. With a reservation, we walked right in with no wait. The most difficult part of the evening was deciding what to order because the menu offers so many tempting choices. I selected the Kvarøy Arctic Salmon, while my wife chose the Springer Mountain Farms All-Natural Chicken. Both dishes exceeded expectations. The salmon was cooked perfectly--crispy on the outside, tender and flaky on the inside. It rested on a bed of greens with a subtle lemon flavor that paired beautifully with the fish. The chicken was equally impressive--moist, tender, and packed with flavor. What stood out most was the incredible smoky aroma that hit before each bite, making it even more irresistible. For dessert, the Blackberry Lemon Bread Pudding was the perfect finish. Soft, warm, and bursting with flavor, it was a standout ending to an already exceptional meal. From the outstanding food to the attentive service, Urban Grub delivered a fantastic dining experience. Make a reservation, enjoy the meal, and see if you can find the place.
