For my appetizer I had the stuffed grape leaves. Its basically five leaves stuffed with rice and other herbs. Not really a fan of the sauce or how slimy I thought the inside was, but i'll give it a solid 7/10. Their menu also has a section showing cocktails of the day so I got the "banini of the day". It's for Sunday's and would highly recommend it if you like pamegranate. The chicken was delicious. I loved everything about it. The one issue I have is that the goat cheese over powers most of the dish. I'll give it a strong 9/10. I also liked how welcoming the servers are. Molipazzo is a nice, local restaurant in White House. The food is definitely comfort food. Good for the soul. Molipazzo is also fine for a family meal. It is good food, reasonably priced. On my last trip, I noticed that they have discounted cocktail specials for every night of the week. $6 dirty martinis on Sundays, I am in! The serving staff is young but very friendly. When they noticed I could not finish my chicken parmigiana they suggested an off-menu option of ordering a smaller portion next time. Wonderful. There are also meals for two on Wednesday nights. Helps for people like my Wife and I who are retired. I have ordered pizza take-out several times. The crust is wonderful all by itself. If you are near White House, give Molipazzo a try. read more

Juliet raving about the pizza and comes all the way here for it... had to try it and it is the best pizza I've had since we moved here from Chicago! Staff is super friendly as well. Has something changed in the last year? The food used to be great and we were so excited to try some of their lobster specials, but it ended up being a huge disappointment. Pork Belly Appetizer: Three 3" slices of pork belly... and two of them were pure fat. I'm not joking, there was zero trace of meat - it was just fat. How someone could've cooked that and made the decision to still put it on a plate is beyond me. The sauce was also underwhelming, easily making this the worst pork belly I've had anywhere. Squid Ink Pasta w Lobster: $32 ... overcooked tough lobster, the pasta was either mushy or clumped together and lastly, the crispy prosciutto in this soggy mess gave off the feeling of shrimp shells. Texturally irritating. The Fra Diavolo sauce was actually great, but they need to pair it with a well-made, well-cooked pasta and maybe do shrimp instead. Although it took over an hour and half to get through dinner and the girl who brought the Lobster Mac pretty much tossed the dish onto our table, our server Briana herself was great. She did check up on us when she could and asked how the food was a couple different times. There was no point poopoo'ing on the food there, it's not like I want to have them remake a dish that took an hour in the first place... we just wanted to go home lol. So... what is good there? Cocktails and service. I did notice most other patrons were eating pizza, so maybe we should have too. I'd say avoid their more ambitious dishes, it's definitely not worth the Nashville prices. From previous trips, I'd also recommend the Chicken Parm. Lobster Mac was okay, but again- not worth the cost. To close out- although we did enjoy the cocktails, can someone explain how there is $13.20 liquor tax on the $26.00 of booze we got? Please educate me, because I am thoroughly confused! read more

Service was pleasant and attentive. A little too efficient, we felt a little rushed. Food came out very quickly, time between courses was a little short. We (senior citizens) ended up sharing one meal between us and it was enough. We started with the soup - much too salty for our taste. We couldn't eat it. They took it off our bill. Whipped feta cheese appetizer - quite good. Caesar salad, lots for two seniors, also a bit salty. Gnocchi as our main dish. Very good gnocchi in a rich, tomato sauce. This is our go to for pizza. We generally prefer a thin crust and this is not necessarily thin. Their crust is beyond tasty with it being light and fluffy. The cheese truly makes the pizza along with the sauce is perfect being not too sweet and not too much tomato. The size and toppings are more than generous. Chicken parmigiana is way more than generous and absolutely delicious as it is cooked to perfection. Chocolate dipped cannolis are very authentic along with the limoncello cake. My family visited because we were on this side of Nashville for a meeting and had a great experience. Situated in strip mall, you immediately notice a difference as you enter. The atmosphere is a on Italian country barn. The staff is friendly and attentive. The menu has all of your favorites and specials are available. A full bar is available with a list of reasonable wines and special cocktails. Our group covered the flavor profile with marinara, alfredo and a meat dish. Mambo Italiano! I've frequented this joint for awhile now. It's a fun hangout, with great food. I love the chicken parm w/ a side of fettuccini alfredo! One time I did a review on their Insta and won free garlic knots, also deliciouso. I'd say twice a month we order a GF pizza for the wife and daughter. It's small but they love it like catnip. I prefer the entrees here over the pizza. Love the decor, the bar is cool, a little pricey, overall a great place to eat if you're in the White House TN area. read more

We live locally and have been here many times. Unfortunately we have decided to stop going to this restaurant. The last time we were there we were still in the middle of our appetizer when our main courses came out. It feels like you are being rushed to eat so they can either turn over the table or go home as it was 8:00pm on a weeknight and they close at 9:00. We were the last table there. Once I finished my appetizer and attempted to eat my main course it was cold, I asked him to take it back and heat it up somehow, suggesting the microwave, They told me they weren't allowed to do that... They finally agreed after a bit more discussion when I asked if I was expected to eat my main course cold. This was not the first time it has happened, their time between courses is always way too short. You don't bring out our main course until you see that your guests are done with there appetizer and/or salad. Another time we had gone in because we had seen spaghetti carbonara on their chefs table monthly menu and they posted a picture of it on Facebook. Carbonara being one of our favorite Italian dishes we went expecting to get our dish looking just like the picture on Facebook. It didn't even come close, it had been way dressed up for the picture. When I asked about it the service said oh we just do it pretty for Facebook. It kind of felt like false advertising as that picture was what brought us in that night. When I posted a not great review on Facebook it was immediately taken down. When I reached out to the manager and asked why they did that he said well bad reviews hurt our business!! Which is why I've now come to Yelp where they can't get away with that. They're one of the nicer dining venues in White House & the food for the most part is good, but they need to up their game and treat it as such not like a diner. read more

Great little spot! Ambiance is perfect! House moscato is the best I've had as is the spinach bacon dip. The charcuterie is generous and really good as well. The only issue I have is the pasta. It's always very salty and gummy. They use a lot of salt in most dishes vs. fresh herbs and seasonings and you can tell. I really hope this is adjusted at some point. I have eaten here several times, including special events, and am continuously underwhelmed. It doesn't taste homemade at all. And I'm not entirely sure it's real Italian. For example- the "lasagne" is some sauce in a little baking dish covered with 1 noodle and slathered in sauce and cheese. Where are the layers?! I've gotten special pasta dishes that I can make better at home and that actually have flavor and seasoning. I've worked through several items on the menu through all seasons and I've never left thinking I had a great meal or service, and I keep swearing I'll never go back and waste my money. Everything is just blah and I don't think it's worth the cost. The service is also below average - I've been ignored, forgotten about, brought the wrong food and drinks, and generally felt that whoever was stuck at my table had somewhere else they'd rather be. It's always just a bit uncomfortable. Two consistently good things- their house salad and their lemon drop martini. The pizza is ok but is often soggy in the middle. I just can't anymore. read more
