We had an excellent experience at Pasta Galifi! The staff were very attentive and kind, and accommodated our indecisive order (we bought bagged pasta and switched it out with another bag, thanks again!). I had their daily special, which was a butternut squash and pumpkin ravioli with crispy bacon, while my partner had the pasta ai porcini (mushroom pasta). Both of our dishes were AMAZING, I was so grateful that we received bread with our meal because I otherwise would have licked the bowl clean. I appreciate that our meals were served in bowls that could be used to take the food to-go, very thoughtful! We are so excited to try our pasta at home as well. We brought the cuttlefish and lemon-garlic pasta home. We can't wait to come back for the gelato! read more

I tried Pasta Galifi while at a wildflower picking party at Long Hollow Gardens and was pleasantly surprised by the quality and speed of this food truck! I ordered the fettuccini Alfredo with chicken on top that was very good. The chicken was shredded, which was great, but there was too much of it! I wish there had been a little bit more pasta and a little less chicken. My friends tried their blackened shrimp dish - which they liked - and the mushroom pasta - which also received good reviews. read more

The pasta is great !!!! Actually the best you can get in the area. Also good bread which is also hard to find locally (sometimes they have special offerings like focaccia). The fresh pasta here is the way to go! It's a small place more suited for take out. They serve everything in to go containers but so have table to sit at if you want to dine in. Portion sizes are generous and the pasta is a great texture. My brother got the truffle pasta and I definitely preferred the cream sauce in his over the one I had. It had more of an Alfredo taste which I prefer. My mom chose the pesto which was also great. The prices are great for the portions and taste was great. We did have a Caesar salad that I probably wouldn't get again as the dressing and croutons weren't anything special to me. I would 100 percent recommend going and getting the pasta though! The owners were incredibly kind, helpful, and appreciative. If so lived locally this would be a go to spot. read more

My wife and I popped into this small gem of a place after hearing good things about it from friends. I knew they started as a food truck and then opened this brick and mortar place. All the food is packaged to go, but they have some 4 tops if you want to eat there. The woman taking the order explained their concept which is fresh pasta made in house daily. So fresh and cooked perfectly. My wife had the Lasagna and I had the ePepe pasta. The truffle power on my pasta was amazing. If you live in the area, do yourself a favor and swing by this place on the way home from work and grab a few items to take home. You won't be disappointed. They also have Italian style cheesecake and tiramisu etc. read more

I accidentally forgot my lunch at home today so I decided it was the perfect chance to try out Pasta Galifi. I discovered that I need to "accidentally" forget my lunch more often. When I walked in, I was greeted with friendly service and even provided some complimentary Bread + Butter on the house. Even as I browsed the dry pasta, they were kind enough to share about their process and how their noodles are made fresh. I ordered the Italian Mac & Cheese w/Chicken and it was absolutely delicious. The noodles were the perfect texture and the sauce was a phenomenal balance of richness and flavor. The Mac was followed by a cup of Dark Chocolate Gelato. As someone who never had Gelato until today, I regret not trying it sooner. I'll absolutely be back for the other flavors that I saw. The surprise of the meal for me was very unexpected but left me wanting the recipe. The Butter. That little dish of golden greatness was a welcome surprise considering I first thought it was Italian Dressing. Now that I've had it, normal butter will never taste the same. My friend and I were welcomed warmly. We started with a Caprese Salad. They did not spare the fresh basil. It was an excellent start to a great meal. My friend had the special cajun chicken. I tried it and was impressed by the sauce and the chicken. Sometimes, chicken can have a weird texture, but not this day. They warned it was spicy, but neither of us thought so. I tried something new, Tartufo e Pepe. It was a creamy sauce with LOTS of black pepper and black truffle zest. I mixed it up and then took a bite. Oh my, I do not know when I ate something so simple but delicious. I could not eat it all, so I brought it for lunch. The bread was so fresh and soft. I did get the Cinnamon Roll gelato. It smells terrific and tastes good. It has so much cinnamon that I can only eat a little at a time. I cannot wait till next time. read more

STOP SEARCHING! THIS IS THE PLACE! My wife and I stopped at this hidden gem on a road trip across country from Oregon to Georgia to visit family. After checking into our hotel for the night we drove over for a late dinner. After our meal we both looked at each other and thought "wow... this is the type of place that deserves a line out of the front door". To anyone who is local do not let this place go unnoticed. A slice of Italy in Goodlettsville, Tennessee. You can tell a lot of love is put into the food, and the family that runs it have Italian roots and are very welcoming. Bring your kids for gelato, grab some fresh pasta sold in the store to take home and make a meal, or grab one of their freshly made meals to take home or eat in the restaurant. Absolutely amazing food!!! When we fly into town visiting family, we stop by and order quarts of sauce (and made-from-scratch pasta) to take with us back home. We freeze the sauce, ziploc it, and stow several pounds of delicious frozen quarts of sauce varieties in our luggage. Pomodoro, Bolognese and Tartufo e Pepe are all among our favorites! The owner Andrea and his family is always there greeting and giving history behind the dishes--When I eat here, I feel like I am invited to his family dinner table. I met the lovely owner and chef at a food truck on Arrowhead in Brentwood. I ordered the meatballs and Italian bread "Polpette Al Sugo". In a humble container was the chef's sainted Italian grandmother's recipe sauce and 4 substantial meatballs; with real, chewy Italian bread and bright garlicky tomato sauce. My sister and I stopped by here after seeing great reviews on here and I will tell you that they were right! Great authentic Italian and even friendlier staff. I had the lobster Mac n cheese and my sister had the lasagna and they were both terrific. For dessert we had the dark chocolate and banana gelato, they were perfect. We did get the dark chocolate habanero for our uncle togo. It was HOT, but he loved it. He said you could taste the chocolate on the front end then the hot hits you on the back end. I highly recommend that if you are thinking about stopping here, you should not think twice. read more

The best authentic Italian anywhere around! Had the food from their food truck previously and it's so exciting that they have a storefront now. The pasta is cooked to perfection, the sauce is rich and shines in its simplicity, the meatballs are fantastic and their bread is the best Italian style bread I've ever had. Wonderful people run this little gem of an Italian find! So very friendly, they feel like family. They have delightfully rich homemade gelato (because why not mention dessert first?). I had the fettuccine Alfredo with chicken and it was delicious. Will be back to try other menu items and also to get some of the unusual varieties of homemade pasta types that you just do not find in grocery stores. The restaurant is small but nice and clean. We had the Italian Mac n Cheese and Alfredo. Both were very good. They make their own pasta. Gelato and tiramisu are made fresh daily, so yummy. They share a birthday, April 9th, and were having a birthday lunch there this afternoon, when I got the idea to call the restaurant to ask if there was any way I could provide a card to cover their lunch, since you pay at the end. Our personal favorites are the chicken, pot roast, and meatloaf, all hearty, flavorful, and exactly what you want when you're craving a solid comfort meal. One of the things I love most about this place is that it truly feels like "come as you are." There's no single type of crowd here. You'll see families, business meetings, date nights, people dressed up, people dressed casually, groups of two, groups of four, and even three generations sitting together. It works before or after church, after school, after soccer games, or after work. No judgment, no pressure, just people showing up for great food and a great environment. What really stands out is how respectful and welcoming everyone is. There's an entire cake station behind a large glass case filled with massive, handmade-from-scratch cakes. You can grab slices, order whole cakes in advance, and even place special holiday dessert orders. It's decadent, impressive, and very hard to walk past without stopping. Even when it's incredibly busy, the team is friendly, efficient, and well organized. Whether dining inside, outside, or picking up food to go, the experience is always smooth and welcoming. The cheese bread was decently cheesy and the marinara was tasty. The Caesar salad was good size and came with two dressings, which I appreciated. In addition to you standard pizzas, they have a solid selection of specialty pies from chicken and waffle to Nashville hot, cheeseburger and more. Also, they offer a good menu of other things such as wings, sammies, calzones, tots, and a few other specialty items. Service from entry to exit was friendly and helpful. Space was clean and decently kept. A little dated on some aspects, but all in all, decent vibes for a local pizza pub. Overall, really enjoyed the goods from Long Hollow Pizza & Pub!
