Brought me back to high school days an eating pizza with the gang at Piedro's near Seattle. Tea was good and otherwise, fairly unremarkable as it is self-service but clean. Rating is for the pizza - if you can make it for lunch, it's a much better value that being a few minutes after 2 PM. read more

This was my first time eating here. The service was very friendly and helpful. You do order at the counter, so told them I'd be a minute, having not been there before. They let me take my time and offered free breadsticks for my first visit. I got the white pizza lunch special, it comes with a drink. Very reasonably priced. The food came out hot and fresh. My family and I went to the Painturos restaurant in Lebanon, TN. Its normally very good. Their baked confusion is amazing. However, yesterday my husband and I decided to have lasagna, Their lasagna is really horrible. We complained about it and they were nice enough to give us a refund for our order. Again, I will say that the baked confusion is amazing but the lasagna was horrible. The pizza was mediocre. read more

We went early on Friday so no issues with waiting to order, etc and there was plenty of room to sit. Our food took a bit to come out though which was puzzling since we ordered before it got super busy. The pizza was dry and a bit cold - we had the Hawaiian. It was not very hot - and look dried out when it was put on the table. Not a ton of cheese on the pizza and the edges were crispy. There was also not a lot of bacon or ham on it. It's thin crust pizza which can be good with melted cheese and toppings but this one was disappointing. The house salad with Italian meat was ok. The tomato vinagarette was pretty tangy. We also ordered pinwheels and I would say don't bother...there's hardly any cheese in the middle and again we're not very hot. We waited a while for our food to come out so maybe it sat for a bit before sending it out. Either way I would skip this place and find somewhere else to get pizza. read more

I've only ever had food taken out from here. My boyfriend and I decided to eat inside for a change. Tables were dirty with dishes. Before receiving our pizza, we discovered every single dish full of Parmesan had mold inside & we check several tables. Flies were flying on our food. & the service was not the best. They have a room you can rent. We did this for a family birthday party. There was apparently not a working AC. It was so uncomfortably hot, I couldn't believe they would even charge us for the room much less not discount the food. There were two thermostats. One read 75 and one read 77. We dropped the setting to 68 after asking the people who worked there. In which they acted like they knew nothing about how to change the setting. They looked to be locked with a cover over them This is the third event we've had there. Never again. We had two babies whose faces were red the whole time and we had to keep a small portable fan on them the whole time. Plus fan with paper. We were about to all just leave but when you have 16 people who've already met at a restaurant, it's really tough to ask people to leave and go elsewhere. When we left, it was cooler outside that it was in the restaurant. The foods okay but goodness the heat was horrendous. It was embarrassing. People literally had sweat rolling down their heads and all we could do was try our best to keep the babies with fans on them and hope the AC would kick on and cool it down. It never did. Also, please clean/degrease the high chairs. We needed two. They were incredibly sticky. We had some basic antibacterial wipes. After a quick wipe of the parts that the babies would be touching, both wipes had a lot of black residue come off. Then they were still sticky after we wiped them off. So we did not even use them. Plus no changing table in the bathrooms. read more

Painturos in Mt. Juliet is my all time favorite lunch spot. It never disappoints! My go to menu items are the Baked Confusion pasta, and the Mucho Macho Pizza. Celebrated my mom's 75th birthday here in our own little private room of about 20 of us. Wasn't really sure what to expect from an Italian place out in Mt. Juliet but I was presently surprised! The Italian food in Mount Juliet is, well, not the best. Our neighbors kept suggesting Painturo's, staying it was amazing. We finally took their suggestion and ordered some food for pick-up. The pinwheels and the Confused pasta were the number one items recommended to us. The pinwheels were pretty good, wheeled up garlic bread covered in cheese and served with a side of pasta sauce, what's not to love?! Carbs and cheese, yussss! The second dish was interesting and, for me, tasted bland. Which is surprising since this pasta dish is made up of Alfredo and Marinara mixed together. Maybe the bold flavors cancel each other out? The pasta was also severely over cooked and everything was just sort of mushy. I prefer my pasta al dente. Who knows, maybe it's better in the restaurant and just doesn't travel well? I will say, the entire meal was only $20 and was enough to feed a family of three. No complaints on the price! read more

It was a family tradition that we ate here on Thursday. For 15 years. First restaurant both my kids ever ate at. But the last few years it's gone downhill. Service isn't what it was. Food just not up to the old standard. Little things get you. If we didn't tell the cashier that an appetizer was supposed to come out first it comes out with our entrees. 12 years ago they dropped one small corner piece off my pizza, offered to remake the whole pizza I told them no worries and they still made me a new pizza to take home. Now there is a whole piece missing and they don't acknowledge or even apologize. I really really loved this place. I never had a pizzeria growing up or a place I was a regular but we have walked away. It makes me sad what this has become. We even gave the Lebanon location a few recent tries and it's the same. We decided to try this place for lunch because we saw the good reviews on yelp and were looking for a decent local pizza spot. Upon arrival we went to the counter and were eager to try multiple items on the menu. We decided on 2 side salads with their homemade basil vinegarette, wings, 2 draft beers and a small Margherita pizza. We took the beers to our table and they immediately called our number for the side salads. Perfect side salad, the dressing was amazing and they included a breadstick that was extremely tasty, we got excited. They called our number for the pizza and wings. Looking at this $11.69 10" Margherita pizza, I was taken back. There was a crust with some scattered tomatoes, basil and a few very small slices of cheese. About half of the pizza was just crust with basalmic on it. After the couple pieces of it that we ate were both unappetizing and unfilling, I went up to just order a plain small cheese for comparison. It was $7.00 for a 10", while it had more cheese on it, there was little to no sauce. So both pizzas were disappointing, the wings were also tiny and just barely acceptable. If you want a good salad with excellent dressing, this is your place, not for pizza. read more

Delicious pizza and great service! Came across this place while I was getting my hair done at Tangles. Since it was our first time here, we got free garlic bread, YAY! We got the garden pizza and it was delicious. What's more, kids eat free with an order of large pizza! My daughter was happy to get her own mini cheese pizza. Service is great and quick! It has outdoor seating and the ambience is nice, made to look alike a street in small town Italy! They even have a small party room. Counter service Italian restaurant. I had the baked raviolis which were incredibly bland. My husband had the Luna pasta which was slightly better. You're better off buying frozen ravioli, a jar of pasta sauce and frozen meatballs. The ambiance isn't terrible but you can also clearly see water damage on multiple ceiling tiles. We didn't try the pizza, maybe that is better. Everyone working seemed reasonably friendly. Kid friendly. Dress code: no cleats. read more

You order at the register, find a table, and wait for your number to be called. Plenty of seating and noticed a party room available for bigger or private parties. Everything ordered was made to perfection. Appetizer ordered were the pinwheels. These could also be a main meal. They had the right amount of cheese and crispiness along with a great tasting marinara sauce. Would not hesitate to order again!! I did get my Caesar salad. The side salad option is basically a normal sized salad in my opinion. I did ask before ordering. Exact size I wanted. Also, the dressing was very tasty - yum! Painturo's makes all of their dressings, and it looks as though they sell bottles of them there too. Main dishes - Hot ham and cheese sub. The Italian (?) dressing gave it that extra umpf. The White Baked Spaghetti with chicken had a layer of bubbling cheese covering the Alfredo sauce mix. This dish came with a delicate garlic bread. I was impressed how the bread was not too thick or heavy and had the right amount of flavor. Complimented the side and main dishes nicely!! They also had a good selection of beers. I was surprised to choose between bottles and draft. Since it was fall, I went with the Nashfest Oktoberfest beer - very good!! Decent pizza, iced tea, fresh salads. Booths are run down, not nice. Brought my own salad dressing, since I don't care for theirs... They make some delicious pinwheels, loaded with mozzarella cheese. Their "Farmhouse" pizza is very tasty, but EXTREMELY (exceptionally) greasy, if you order pepperoni. Surprisingly good GF pizza crust. Strange way of cutting the pizza in diamond pattern, it's hard to pull apart. You can request traditional pie cut, but they will refuse to make a standard square pattern. Kinda weird, but okay. Note to self: next time ask them to hold the potato sticks from their salad, which is also kinda weird. Over-all, their weirdness can be worked with... Request a few adjustments and bring your own salad dressing. They are better than any of the primary/national pizza chains, and less expensive than Gondola House, and their food quality and cleanliness earns them 4 stars. read more

People with allergies be careful. Whitney at the Mt Juliet location is one of the rudest employees you ever want to meet. She cares nothing about getting gluten free correct. she only cares about getting you in and out. I called back to talk to her about my incorrect pizza and she refused to talk. if She was rude with me I'm sure I'm not the only one. People with allergies have to be careful with what they eat and she doesn't. The food is usually great but Whitney poor customer service makes you not want to eat there. People with allergies be careful. If it's wrong Whitney cares very little about getting it correct. She thinks you just want something for free! read more

Everything here has their own spin on it. Calzone has no Ricotta. Tuesday buy a large pizza and get a large 1 topping was a good value. Pizza is thin crust and cut in small diamond shapes.
