My favorite is the calzones! Wish they had a small selections of wine to go with the Italian options.

Food was decent the one time I've been here. Didn't really have any complaints, but it didn't excite me enough to go back either... that said i have meant to, just hasn't crossed my mind that often. Had a canoli (sp) for dessert, and one of the pasta dishes as well as shared a small pizza with a friend. read more

I was pleasantly surprised by this place. We went in not knowing what to expect. It was a weeknight and dinner time, but relatively dead inside. We ordered an app and a pizza. Both were excellent! The only downside is that we got a beer from the tap and it was a little on the expensive side for a crap draft. Other than that, we will be back! read more

We haven't been to Painturo's in Mt Juliet in over a year and a half. The granddaughter was spending the night so we thought we'd go for pizza. Picked a good night to go, $5 off large pizzas. Wife and granddaughter ordered a large cheese and I order a Hawaiian. Pizza came out, both were brown on top from all the over cooked cheese. I couldn't find much ham, there was some bacon, and a scattering of pineapple. All you could taste was overcooked cheese. The crust was gritty and not very good. The granddaughter didn't like the pizza at all. I ate two slices and I was done. It's terrible pizza. Any of the other local carryouts have better pizza than either of those we were served. If you want great pizza, go to Gondola's or the stone fired pizza place on Mt Juliet Rd. If you want pizza better than Painturo's go anywhere else like Pizza Hut, Domino's, or any of the other carry out places. read more

Great food...order the club sandwich. You won't be sorry, I promise! My husband is a huge fan of the pizza too. My only negative comment is that they are sort of known to screw up the call-in orders. My employer actually refuses to go back, as they completely forgot to send the order back to the kitchen two times in a row (which the staff didn't notice until they came to pick up their order after the allotted 20 minutes). Two times, really? They've often messed up group call-in orders I have placed, and didn't seem that concerned about it when I called to complain. I would suggest dining in only for that reason. read more

When I first ate here I thought the prices were a little high definitely high than you chain pizza restaurants but it's worth it! The pizzas are amazing but the pasta and salads are my favorite. Take out is nice and they always have the food ready. Customer service is pretty good considering it's usually teens at the front desk but more importantly they get the job done. read more

While probably not worth the four stars overall, there is one food item that is worth it, so I will go that route. I have had a few things here, and never had anything bad, but seeing myself as a sort of club sandwich connoisseur, I got it one day and it might be the best I have ever had. Not sure what sets it apart, because it is pretty basic ingredients - ham, turkey, bacon, cheddar cheese, lettuce and tomato served on their homemade Focaccia bread with a side of honey mustard. Whatever they do, it works. Pizzas and calzones are quality too, so this place is a good option, especially for lunch. read more

I ordered two baked confusions they are said to have Alfredo and marinara in them. I like a lot of sauce so I ordered extra sauce with my Togo order. Picked it up got home and there was no extra sauce and also no Alfredo just chicken cheese marinara and pasta. The people working in the back are oblivious. Saw two of them making out. Ate here for dinner while visiting my brother in Tennessee. I was actually underwhelmed by their pizza. It was pricey and took a long time to receive our order, even then it was wrong and we had to get a replacement to take home. My extended family and myself had dinner here last night. The parking lot was dimly lite but it was adequate. When we entered the restaurant the atmosphere felt Mediterranean. The staff was patient with us as we became familiar with the menu. We ordered pizzas ( 3 small 12 inch, they also have a large 16 in), 3 trays of pinwheels, 2 spaghetti (1 was baked topped with cheese and drinks. We left the register got our own drinks and took our seats waiting for a member of the team to call our ticket number. Eventually they called our number and our pinwheels were ready. The pinwheels are dough wound into a loose knot with a little cheese and ramekin of marinara. A few minutes later we heard our number again and we went and got our spaghetti and shortly after got our pizzas (all the pizzas are thin crust). When I tasted the house pizza minus apple it needed something to top it to please my palate. The choice they had was in 3 shakers, parmesan cheese, peppers or a basil mix seasoning. I chose the seasoning. Altogether our meal was acceptable nothing extraordinary. The best part was the cozy room in the back we occupied that gave us a feeling of oneness. I like to eat here because we are left alone to eat and don't have wait staff hovering over us interrupting during the meal. If one wants a soda refill or something else you get it yourself. We had plenty left over from each meal for lunch later today. We will return here again if life allows. read more

We tried this for the first time for dinner recently after driving by a few times since moving to the area. We had some cheese bread and a pizza, and everyone in our party enjoyed it - including our 7-year-old! It seems like they use quality ingredients and season everything well. Stopped in for a late lunch and I have to say I was pleasantly surprised. Being from NY I have been missing all those pizza shops on every corner where you can grab a quick lunch. I ordered the meatball sandwich and it was actually pretty good. I might have used a little different bread but can't complain (it was more like Subway vs Italian bread). Looking forward to trying the pizza next time. I have been sorely missing good pizza in TN and I'm cautiously optimistic. We'll see! read more

Atmosphere - 4/5 - tables and booths are a little worn, but again, the staff is extra friendly and helpful Food - 5/5 - great taste, comes out rather quickly for a pizza, never had any problem Overall, it's close, not a big chain, good food, family oriented, they have party space, parking isn't usually an issue, and I'd go back many times. read more

Painturo's has the BEST pizza in the Nashville area! The pasta dishes are equally awesome. I have never had any entrée, sandwich, pizza or appetizer at this restaurant that wasn't delicious. I've referred many friends and everyone has the same reaction - they love it. 4.5 stars on their pizza (the white pizza and country boy are super yummy!), but I've been disappointed with their lack of customer service more times than I haven't. Would prefer to give 2.5 stars. Food was very average. My wife had a small pizza, and I had a baked pasta which was served with some lukewarm breadsticks. I feel pretty confident I have had better versions of both at such great restaurants like . . . Fazoli's (sarcasm). The bright spot was the fact that the restaurant was clean, and the staff was friendly. Can find much better Italian or pizza elsewhere so not likely to return. read more
