I had a mole that created over 50 hills over the winter and I finally broke down and brought in Mole Masters. They did a great job of capturing the mole in the first week and the cost was $410 after their service period was complete. Fast forward to 3 months later...the mole hills started again. Called Mole Masters back and they said there was no discount for a reservice....I would have to pay the $410 again, and then I could go on a service plan for $70 per visit every other week. That is extremely expensive! While there initial service was great, I am shocked they don't give a discount for a reservice 3 months after their visit. I don't recommend them. read more

I've never had a problem with moles. Then we bought our dream house out in Enumclaw, which had a perfect yard...and untold horrors living beneath it. About two months after moving in we started seeing one huge dirt mound after another pop up. Not knowing anything about moles, I thought maybe they would just visit and move on --but instead, 6 holes became 12, which became 28 -- turning a beautiful, manscaped yard into a battlefield. I tried those mole repulsers that I got at Home Depot, then tried the natural lawn treatment ...and even got a another cat. Nothing worked. Literally every morning I would wake up and count how many new holes appeared and chastise my collection of cats for not doing their job. Then my friend John told me about Mole Masters -- by this time we had over 60 molehills that I had flattened out and tried to repair. They managed to catch four huge moles that first day and one additional mole in a subsequent visit and I haven't seen any molehills since! I am very into gardening and soil amendment. The person who owned our home before us was a botanist. Needless to say, the soil in our big yard is full of worms and other tasty treats for moles to eat. I initially tried to deal with the moles myself. I tried sulfur bombs (gopher gassers) and literally ended up in the KP emergency room when one stick malfunctioned and blew back on me taking the skin off 45% of my right hand. We first began experiencing mole hills (which became prolific pretty rapidly) late last summer. After trying the poisonous worms to no avail, I brought in the professionals. Turns out they caught what seemed to be the culprit in the first week. I believe we did two follow-ups just to make sure there were no more. A few weeks ago, on the heels of just finishing reseeding my back yard and hand watering for six weeks, it was apparent something decided our yard looked appetizing. My husband and I moved into a new house in May and were surprised to see that in September, about 12 mole boroughs formed in our backyard and 3 in our front, within a month. They caught three moles in five trips, were less than half the price of the other company. I also appreciated that they sent a text message when the technician was an hour out so I had sufficient time to bring our dogs inside. All traps were covered by buckets and pinned down so other animals (our dogs) would not get hurt or release the trap. read more
