Good place to go for late night eats. Menu is very similar to Alberto's but cheaper. I've had their carne asada burritos and its pretty good. This place splits tops with my other favorite Mexican fast food joint, Alerto's. This is because it's closer to where I live and it's down the street from Downtown Fullerton. I've been to Molca Salsa many times and I usually get the Carne Asada Burrito (CAB). I usually judge Mexican fast food places by means of their CAB, and I can tell you that Molca Salsa's does not disappoint. It's large, and contains no beans or rice to muck it up. Just meat, guacamole, cilantro, and salsa. The prices are very good, and the food is consistent everytime I go. I've also had their fish burrito, tacos, rolled tacos (taquitos), and Super Fries. My friends swear by the Super Fries because it's huge and quite the remedy from a night out on the town. I'm still partial to the CAB but I can say that all the other items I've tasted have been good too. It is open 24hrs so you'll find different crowds when you go during different times. It has a strange double drive-thru and no restroom. I'm always trying to figure out what the heck playing on tv there late at night. It's always some strange/old movie dubbed over in Spanish. read more

pretty good mexican food so after a doctors visit, i was getting kinda hungry and decided on Molca salsa since it was near by i ordered their chile relleno plate for about 6 bucks. it comes in a styrofoam box and comes with a side of rice and refried beans (i think most of their entrees come w/ rice & beans). i was surprised that it also came with 4 tortillas! your choice of corn or flour. i was definitely happy with the extra food that i didnt know i was going to get. ok compared to some other mexican food joints, the refried beans here actually are kinda good.. or maybe i was just getting really hungry. anyways, i was a little disappointed with the chile relleno. it didnt really taste like anything. and they left a lot of the seeds inside... ( i think chile relleno is supposed to be de-seeded? - if thats a word..) i liked how i got the extra tortillas cause i just used it to dip in the extra sauce i had in my box. warning: after finishing a whole box from molca salsa, you will feel really full and burpy/gassy the whole day.. so just beware =/ brb, gotta take a dump. read more

Hands down the best mexican place to eat at when your drunk. All the other mexican places suck compared to Molcasalsa. Everyone comes here and just invades this place later at night. The super fries are what everyone gets. I get the adobada fries everytime I come here. If you havn't tried adobada, trust me you'll never get the carne asada every again because its that good. We were in the area and found this on yelp so decided to drive thru to pickup dinner. Prices were great, and you get a lot of food for the $. I had a chicken burrito that was amazingly chock full of chicken, which was juicy and tasty. Husband got the carne asada burrito which he gave a thumbs up. toddler got a chicken quesadilla which he loved. the texture of the cheese seemed a little odd to me but he didn't seem to mind. and there was plenty of chicken in it. This is my favorite mexican restaurant in the entire world for carne asada burritos. Every time I am in Southern California, which isn't very often, I make a point of visiting this Molca Salsa. Partly this is for nostalgia. I have great memories of this place from my undergraduate years. But mostly this is because their carne asada burrito is the best. read more

This place is my guilty pleasure. It's soooo good but yet so bad for me. Every time I decide to eat here I always go for the super nachos, FINGER LICKING GOOD! The amount of carne asade is more then generous along with the cheese, crema and pico de gallo! I hate that if I really try I always finish the entire box. Once in a while I try to eat something different and that when I buy the burrito de camarón (shrimp). The breakfast burritos are good, super nachos are good and I've tried the enchiladas - also good! People that work there aren't extremely friendly but you dont have to deal with them long since they get you in and out of the drive thru quick. The red salsa is yummy! read more

Recently tried about a week ago, the food is better from the previous time. Order my usual bean and cheese burito with rice and sour cream. Tortilla was nice and soft maybe even handmade? I live in closer proximity to two other molca salsas and I drive the extra 5 miles to come to this one. This molca salsa is head and shoulders better than the others in the area. Part of the reason is because it has a two drive through areas which help you get in and out faster than the other sister molcas in the area but also because they have an interior dinner that stays open through the night. The food is by far better than any other hole in the wall mexican food place. My only complaint is that ass holes often frequently come here drunk and kill the pleasant mood. read more

I work down the street and today I went for their taquitos (5 per order) for lunch. I was thinking about them for weeks now and today I was not disappointed. Each taquito had plenty of meat inside. For fast food mexican this place is amazing. It reminds me of how fast food mexican used to taste like before a lot of places (Albertos) started cutting corners on ingredients and quality. Best Mexican hole-in-the-wall. This hot spot is open 24 hours and has some of the best food I've ever had. Its not as greasy as most people would assume from the small spot. 2 lines for drive thru and amazingly fast service with a huge selection of mexican/american food. They offer super fries (french fries, carne asada, cheese, beans, guacamole, sour cream, salsa, tomatoes) for $5. Its a meal in itself. Comes standard with your Mexican drink selection (i.e. - Horchata, Jaimaca, Tamarindo) and is a great late addiction after a good night of drinking. read more

This one time, i asked for a carne asada burrito with everything in it and they forgot to put in the guac and etc.. the food isnt delicious, but it is usually the only place that is open late at night which is why i frequent the place so often. i hate the drunk bitches that go there late at night though. read more

I love this place. It is about 7 miles from where I live but I drove here the first 4 weeks I moved down to LA and ordered carne asada fries everytime. Easily my favorite foods and they do have a very diverse menu consisting of lobster burrito's, to tacos w/ pico de gallo. Only gripe that I have is that I noticed recently that they have been skimping on most of their orders. Their burritos are not as fat, and the copious amount of fries they used to give dwindled down to probably two handfulls. That is easily more than enough for the average person but I was in love with this place when they would give you a HEAPING serving of fries overflowing that styrofoam to-go box, but now give you enough room to satisfy the hunger. 24 hours? I like this place cause its 24hrs and drive through. I only really go here if Rigobertos is closed. Carne Asada burritos and fries are always a good choice. Seating is cramped inside, if you can find a seat, benches outside. its my second choice for late night mexican food in the fullerton/brea area. read more
